This style of daylight opening was christened "the J line" by Datsun stylists.<br> The J line was also used for <a href="Violet.htm">Violet/140J/160J</a> hardtop coupe models but the 180B is possibly the best interpretation of it. <p><br clear="right"> <p>  <hr> <p><img alt="Datsun 180B Sedan front" align="left" border="0" width="640" height="480" hspace="10" src="images/Mvc-137f.jpg"> <b>Datsun 180B Sedan front design</b><br> This was Australian assembled sedan (series 2, identifiable by large amber front turn indicators) with an enlarged (to 1.8 litres) four cylinder engine based on that of the <i>1600</i> model. <p><br clear="left"> <p>  <hr width="100%"> <p><img align="right" border="0" width="640" height="480" hspace="10" src="images/Mvc-153f.jpg" alt="Datsun 180B Sedan rear"> <b>Datsun 180B Sedan rear</b><br> Yes, water leakage around the rear window was not uncommon!
