CHRISTMAS TREE PARK PAVILIONS

The '02 schedule for pavilion rentals in Christmas Tree Park is filling up fast. For a choice selection for your next gathering, please contact the town office at 410-239-3200. The small pavilion is $30/day and the larger ones are $50/day.

With 82 acres of parks, Manchester has more park
land that any other town in Carroll County.
Christmas Tree Park, located off York ST in the
northeastern part of town, is the largest
developed park area.

Charlotte's Quest has over 60 acres and more
than four miles of trails. Another of the
town's parks Pine Valley Park is nestled within
Charlotte's Quest Nature Center. The center
is operated solely by volunteers and on
donations and grants.

Services: No government funding is provided,
therefore, CQ does not at this time have set
hours or a regular staff. HOWEVER, you may
visit the center's trails, Butterfly Garden,
Avian Cove, Walnut Pond, Stream of Life, Tuck's
Spring, or Memory Grove any time from dawn
till dusk. Just drive in and park at the
gate where you will find a small access gate.
We regret that the building is only open
during special activities or events. We also
offer a host of programs and activities
throughout the year, including an annual
Christmas Crafts Workshop, Open House, annual
Youth Fishing Derby for up through age 15,
Easter Adventure (Egg Hunt/Scavenger Hunt)
for up through age 15, annual planting of
Memory Grove in the fall and more.
