To
whom it may concern,
I
would like to ask if it could be possible to obtain immediate aid
regarding my current state of health. In my present condition my only
alternative is to turn to specialized medical attention. For this reason
I am sending this letter in the hope that there will be someone with
sympathy to help a person in dire need.
Born
in Casablanca, Morocco on 20 June 1969, I was diagnosed with a nonfunctional
kidney in 1986. Since then, I have been forced to have dialysis
(kidney’s cleaning) 3 times a week. In 1990, my sister donated one of
her kidneys. It was the first kidney transplant ever performed in my
country (Morocco). Unfortunately, the procedure was unsuccessful and I
was returned back to having dialysis, and as you may know this is a
costly process. At this moment, my health is worsening with each passing
moment. The medical treatments (dialysis) are not sufficient since they
are only a part of the 1st phase of medical recovery; the
next step would be to have surgery done. However my financial and family
situation have prevented further advancement in this matter.
Specifically
since medical insurance does not exist in Morocco and I am not in any
condition to work, I cannot bear the cost of this surgery.
However,
such an operation is much more successful in many countries. Therefore I
request that you take charge of the entire process from beginning to end
with respect to handling all formalities involved in such a precious
matter.
If
it feasible, I would deeply appreciate to please ensure that the
underlying groundwork is done. I would like to thank you in advanced for
your understanding and concern in this grave situation.
Sincerely,
Malika
