Penelope [6036] the pig, came to the collection early on with 2nd generation hang tags.  She is a 9" portly pink pig who comes either naked in the early generations and wearing blue jean overalls with gold sunflower buttons in the later 5th generation.  Penelope was retired in 1997, but reappeared briefly on some select store shelves in the Fall of 1998. 

Peppermint [6074] is one of the darlings of the Attic collection.  Ever since his introduction with 6th generation hang tags in the Spring of 1998, he has been highly sought after.  With his potbelly, Peppermint is a white polar bear sporting a red knit scarf and a matching ski cap.  He was officially retired from the Attic line on 7-13-99.

Peter [6084] the pumpkin bear was released with 6th generation hang tags in the fall of 1998 with the name of Pumpkin on it.  These were immediately replaced with 7th generation hang tags and his proper name of Peter.  He is very different from the rest of the Attics in that he is not just wearing a costume, he is actually PART of the costume.  With his little pumpkin top hat and pumpkin body, Peter was the perfect Halloween accessory.  Unfortunately, he was retired on 12-31-98 too soon for us.

Piccadilly [6069] is another cute little bear who quickly became a fan favorite.  He was introduced with 6th generation hang tags in June, 1998 with the label "sm bear" on it.  It took a month or so before he came out with the Piccadilly name on his hang tag.  He was released with a rust colored nose and a green and blue clown outfit.  In January of 1999, Piccadilly showed up with 7th generation hang tags and a red nose.  In addition, his outfit was changed to  multicolored red, green, yellow and blue stripes.  He was retired on May 22, 2000. 

Pouncer [6011] the golden cat, was introduced to the collection in 1994 with 1st generation hang tags.  He originally was produced with the same colored ears, black eyes, and wearing a coral bow.  By 1996, his ears were different colored with one white and his eyes were the two-toned green and black that is currently used.  Although Pouncer is shown in all of the TY catalogs from 1995-current, he has NOT been confirmed with some of the mid generation hang tags.  In 5th generation, Pouncer was dressed in a green knit sweater and then in 6th generation, he became a "she" and was dressed in lovely peach colored velour bloomers with a satin rosette on them.  Pouncer is was retired on May 22, 2000 with 7th generation hang tags. 

Precious [6104] was introduced in the spring of 1998 with 6th generation hang tags.  He is a large 12" bear wearing a sleepy time cap and panties clutching his blankie.  With his pot belly and medium brown coloring, he looks remarkably like Cody.  In general, collectors were not impressed with this version and he was soon retired on 9-20-98. 

Prince [6048] the frog, was introduced in 1996 with 5th generation hang tags.  He is an unadorned and unassuming little green frog who first appeared with a red and white tush tag.  Prince was retired on 9-20-98 with 6th generation hang tags. 

Priscilla [6045] was introduced in 1996 with 5th generation hang tags.  She was originally released without clothes and looked like a larger 12" version of Penelope.  She is commonly found with the red and white tush tag and the early 5th generation hang tag.  Later, in 1997, Priscilla was dressed in denim and red checkered overalls with a coordinating red checkered ear bow.  She was retired in 1997.

Purrcy [6022] the black cat, was the last of the kitty trio to be released and came to the collection with 2nd generation hang tags versus the 1st generation.  However, while the other kitties are almost non-existent in the mid generations, Purrcy is the exception.  He was initially found with a pink neck ribbon, but can also be found with a burgundy neck ribbon.  In the fifth generation, Purrcy was dressed in teal overalls with gold sunflower buttons.  Like the other kitties, in the 6th generation, Purrcy became a "she" and was dressed in lovely lavender overalls with a satin rosette on them.  She was retired on May 22, 2000 with 7th generation hang tags.  

Radcliffe [6087] the raccoon, was recently introduced in January, 1999.  He was one of the last of the new introductions to hit the shelves.  Radcliffe is a scraggly 9" attic with black and white highlights and a 7th generation hang tags.  Radcliffe was retired on May 22, 2000. 

Rafaella [6066] is the darling of the Summer 1999 collection.  She is a lovely 9" bear with large gossamer wings and a white satin rope anetennae.  She has a loose curly light beige fur and wears a pink and purple satin bow over her right ear.   Rafaella has already appeared with a few different wing variations, so be on the lookout for the different versions.  She was retired on May 22, 2000.

Ramsey [6092] was also a recent introduction and hit the shelves within a week of being announced on the TY site.  He's an endearing little white ram with golden horns and hooves. He was retired on May 22, 2000 with 7th generation hang tags.

Rebecca [6019] , like Purrcy, was not introduced until the 2nd generation.  She is the third sister to Nola and Emily and was first manufactured naked with a blue headbow.  Rebecca was given denim and red checked overalls with a matching red checked headbow in the 5th generation.  She was retired in 1997 along with her sisters.

Reggie [6004] is one of the oldest Attic Treasures having been brought to the line in 1993.  Reggie was first produced with Hong Kong hang tags and was shorter and stouter than later versions.  He was pictured in the TY catalog wearing a red ribbon, but was only released to the public with the navy blue neck ribbon.  Reggie was one of the first Attics to be retired and is one of the most highly sought after today. 

River [6237]    was introduced on June 24, 2000 and is a triplet with Clay and Fern.  He has the same long shiny fur and wide-set two-toned brown eyes, but River is a very pretty deep blue.  He has a wide gusset and an overlarge forehead.  He has a black embroidered notched nose and black stitching on his royal blue paw pads.  His neck ribbon is a sheer light blue rimmed with satin.  River's 7th generation hang tag says, "Go With The Flow!"

Rosalie [6068]   is the twin sister to Susannah with a pink petal shaped bonnet framing her adorable white face.  Her jumper has a rose print on it.  Rosalie has curly-napped white fur, a large black nose and close set black eyes.  She was one of the last of the summer, 1999 Attics to appear on the shelves.  She was retired on May 22, 2000.

Rosalyne [6211]  is a 9" tall white scruffy bunny who was introduced to the collection in January, 2000.  She wears a tacked-down necklace of satin rosettes in pink, mauve, rose, and violet and has a coordinating rosette over her right ear.  Rosalyne has a mauve embroidered nose and paw accents.  She has white string whiskers and black eyes.  Rosalyne's 7th generation hang tag says. " Everything Is Coming Up Roses!"

Rose [6078] is one of the trio of bunnies released in the Spring, 1998 collection with 6th generation hang tags.  She is a 10" brown bunny very similar to Benjamin, wearing pink corduroy overalls with an embroidered flower on them.  Rose was retired on 12-31-98 with 7th generation hang tags. 

Salty [6056] was introduced in May, 1999 with 7th generation hang tags.  He's the ideal companion to Breezy and they look adorable sitting side by side.  He is an 8" golden brown bear with a shaved snout and an endearing smile.  Salty wears a navy blue sweaater with a white anchor and gold chain design.  His hang tag says appropriately, "Anchors Away."  He was retired on May 22, 2000.

Samuel [6105] was appropriately released at the end of June in 1998 just in time for the Fourth of July holiday.  When he first hit the shelves, his hang tag said "Lg Bear" instead of Samuel, but soon his 6th generation hang tags were corrected.  Samuel is a large 13" dark brown bear wearing red and white striped trousers, a blue jacket, and a red and white striped top hat.  Never popular with collectors, Samuel was retired on May 22, 2000 with 7th generation hang tags.

Sara [6007 & 6120] was one of the original 1993 introductions.  Sara, like Jeremy, was first introduced with Hong Kong hang tags and the red and white artist signed tush tag.  She is a lovely 12" white rabbit with soft fur and wears a pink satin neck ribbon in her early generations and is dressed in a pink velour jumpsuit with a satin rose in the 5th generation.  Little Sara (#6007) was retired in 1997, but was reintroduced in Spring, 1998 with a new style number and 3 inches in height.  Large Sara was retired on 5-11-99 with 7th generation hang tags.

Scarlet [6224]    was introduced on June 24, 2000 and is a triplet with Armstrong and Marigold.  She is unjointed and is made of a nappy light pink plush.  She has close-set black eyes and a dark dusty rose notched nose.  She has no paw pads and is adorned simply with a sheer pink ribbon trimmed in gold.  Her 7th generation hang tag says, "You're Mauve-lous!"

Scooter [6032] is perhaps the most rare of the three doggy brothers introduced in 1995 with second generation hang tags.  Scooter is the rust colored dog with a red nose in the early generations and a black nose in the fifth generation.  He can be found both naked and wearing his rust colored striped sweater.  Scooter was retired in 1997 and can generally be found easier with 2nd generation tags than with his 5th generation ones.

Scotch [6103] is a 14" tall tan shaggy bear wearing red plaid overalls with a matching plaid hat.  He was introduced in the Spring of 1998 with 6th generation hang tags and was rapidly retired on July 31, 1998 although he was fairly popular.   

Scruffy [6085] was the overwhelming darling of the Spring, 1998 attics.  He was first available with 6th generation hang tags and has gone through several transformations in the past year.  He can be found with short tacked down ears, long tacked down ears, bunny ears, and can be made of either "scruffy" fur or silky fur.  Scruffy was retired on 5-11-99 with 7th generation hang tags.

Shelby [6024] was one of the 2nd generation Attics released with a hang tag identifying her incorrectly as part of the Beanie Babies collection.  She is an 8" tan bunny with a sweet expression and long ears.  Shelby can be found in the early generation wearing a pink neck bow.  In the 5th and 6th generations, Shelby can be found wearing a little sun dress with a floral motif.  With the 6th generation introductions, Shelby was mislabeled as Tulip, but never appeared on the store shelves with that tag, although a Tulip tag WAS found on a 6th generation Nicholas.  Shelby was retired in May, 1998.

Sidney [6121] is a 15" tall tan bunny who was first introduced in the Spring of 1998 with 6th generation hang tags.  He is structurally the same and has the same coloring as Jeremy.  Sidney wears the same overalls as Ebony and was quickly retired in the summer of 1998, so he was not produced for long.  He never gained in popularity, so is still on shelves in many stores.

Sire [6141] was one of the more unconventional Attics introduced with 6th generation hang tags in early 1998.  He is a large 13" lion wearing a purple cape and a regal yellow crown atop his tufted hair.  Unfortunately, he was not what collectors expected in the way of the traditional old-fashioned flavor of the rest of the line and he was retired on 9-20-98 along with several of the other non-traditional Attics.

Skylar [6096]  bears a striking resemblance to Fraser.  He was introduced on New Years, 1999 and is a darling 8" bear with 7th generation hang tags.  Skylar was first produced with a rust colored nose, but reports are confirmed that he is now out there with a black nose as  pictured on the official TY site.  Skylar was retired from the collection on March 31, 1999.

Spencer [6046] is one of two large 15" dogs introduced in 1995 with 5th generation hang tags.  He was first produced with the red and white tush tag and no clothes, but was later dressed in a green sweater with white stripes and a collar.  Spencer was retired in 1997.

Spruce [6203]  was added to the Attic Treasures Collection in the Fall of 1999.  He was one of the last of the group to show up on the store shelves.  Spruce is a 9" golden brown bear with scruffy fur.  He has small close set black eyes.  Spruce is wearing a green velvet ski cap with a red tassle at the end and red trim.  There is a holiday tree design at the base.  He is kept warm with a matching green velvet neck scarf with gold corded trim.  His 7th generation hang tag says "I'm Pining for You."  He was quickly retired on 12-10-99.

Squeaky [6017] is a sweet little 8" mouse who has undergone many changes since his introduction in 1994 with 1st generation hang tags.  He first was released in an all gray color with clear whiskers, then was changed to an all gray color with black whiskers, and finally to a gray mouse with white whiskers and white feet and hands.  All of this was done in the first generation after which time, Squeaky took a rest, but reappeared with 5th and 6th generation hang tags.  He was never dressed and was retired on 9-20-98.

Sterling [6083] was introduced on 9-30-98 and is in as hot demand now as he was when he was first released.  The first versions of Sterling had large bendable wings that were almost the same length as the bear, itself.  The later Sterlings have shorter wings and a more vibrant silver fur.  He was retired on 5-24-99 with 7th generation hang tags.

Strawbunny [6079] was one of those Attics who looked cuter in her pictures than she did in real life.  She was released in the Spring of 1998 with 6th generation hang tags.  Dressed only in a pink satin bow, Strawbunny was very popular for those spring baskets, but took some insults over her little black ovoid eyes and Pepto Bismal coloring lending her the moniker of "strawalien."  She was retired on 5-11-99 with 7th generation tags.

Susannah [6067]   was introduced in May of 1999.  She is a small 8 inch bear with dark brown nappy fur.  She looks adorable in her white ruffled sundress with a sunflower print.  She wears a bright yellow cap that frames her face and ties under her chin. Herr structure seems to be the same as Laurel.  Susannah's 7th generation hang tag says "You are My Sunshine."  She was retired on May 22, 2000.

Tiny Tim [6001] was one of the original Attics introduced in 1993.  He is a scrawny little 8" bear who was released with 1st generation hang tags and sported a burgundy neck bow.  He has changed little over the years and was dressed in burgundy and white striped overalls with matching burgundy buttons in the 5th generation.  Tiny Tim was retired in 1997.

Tracey [6047] is the other large dog who was introduced with Spencer with 5th generation hang tags in 1996.  She is a large brown dog with nubby fur and an upturned snout lending her a slightly snooty appearance.  She was first released with no clothes, but was soon dressed in blue corduroy overalls with gold buttons.  Tracey was retired in 1997.

Tyler [6002] is the other of the large original 1993 Attics.  Early Tylers were produced with the Hong Kong hang tags and came both with or without humpbacks.  The earliest Tylers had black noses and paw stitching details which was quickly changed to the rust colored stitching most commonly seen.  In addition, the humpback Tylers were made out of a different smooth material as opposed to the nappier shaggy material.  The early versions of Tyler wore a burgundy neck ribbon.  In the 5th generation, he came dressed in a burgundy v-neck sweater.  Tyler was retired in 1997 with 5th generation hang tags.

Tyra [6201]    came to the collection with a BANG!  Before this little darling made it to the shelves, Ty announced her official retirement on the website.  While collectors were boo hooing about not getting her, rumors were rampant that she was retired due to her pom poms being a choking hazard.  Maison D'Ours got the exclusive story from Ty Canada as Tyras started showing up on the secondary market in Ontario.  Reports of her surfacing in the UK sans pom poms started a week later.  Currently, Tyra is the hottest Attic in the collection.  Time will tell how long this lasts.

Tyrone [6108] is a dapper dark brown bear who was introduced with 7th generation hang tags on 9-30-98.  He is a large 13" bear who. looks suspiciously like Samuel, but wears an elegant burgundy robe tied at the waist with a matching sash belt.  Never popular with collectors, Tyrone started appearing on store shelves with a neck ribbon instead of his robe.  He was retired on May 22, 2000.

Waddlesworth [6202]    was added to the Attic line in the Fall of 1999.  He is an 8" tall penguin dressed in a green, black, white, and yellow coordinating knit hat and scarf.  He has two tone green eyes that catch the light.  Both he and Cheri were the first to show up on the shelves.  His 7th gen hang tag reads "I'm On Top Of The World!" He was retired on May 22, 2000.

Watson [6065] was introduced with 5th generation hang tags in 1996.  He is a light tan bear with nappy fur and is a large 14" tall.  Watson has an off-white muzzle and was first released with a burgundy neck ribbon.  Later, he was dressed in red, white, an blue checked overalls with burgundy buttons.  He is often found wearing the early 5th generation red and white tush tag.  Watson was retired along with the other large attics in 1997.

Wee Willie [6021] is the another 8" small bear designed by Linda Harris.  He was released in 1994 with 2nd generation hang tags.  His early hang tags had several errors.  Early Wee Willies can be found with the hang tag identifying him as part of the Beanie Babies collection or even worse, he can be found with his name listed as "Wee Wiljje."  More uncommon in this case, is the CORRECT hang tags :-) Early Wee Willies wore a green neck ribbon.  Later, he was dressed in dark blue denim overalls with little baseball buttons.  Wee Willie was retired in 1997.

Whiskers [6012] is one of the older members of the Attic family.  He was first introduced in 1994 with 1st generation hang tags.  The earliest Whiskers had both ears grey, but was later produced that same year with one white ear.  While same eared Whiskers are quite rare, the first generation different eared Whiskers is even more so.  Many  of the different colored ears Whiskers came with the Woolie Brown hang tag as they shared the same style number.  Early Whiskers came with both pink and burgundy neck ribbons. In the 5th generation, he was dressed in plum overalls with beige buttons.  In 6th generation, Whiskers was dressed in a deep blue velveteen jumpsuit with a satin flower applique.  Whiskers was retired with 7th generation hang tags on 8-2-99.

William [6113] was introduced in May of 1999.  He was one of the first announced in the "new batch" and is quite resplendent in his pinstriped business suit, white shirt, and burgundy neck tie.  William is a larger 12 inch bear with soft medium brown fur and large black eyes.  He has an elongated snout shaved only on the top portion.  His dark brown paw pads have black stitching accents.  William's 7th generation hang tag says "Dressed for Success" and there is no question that he IS.  He was officially retired on May 22, 2000.

Woolie Brown [6012]   According to Linda Harris, there were reportedly only 4 of these little gems produced.  There is one on display at the TYriffic store at the O'Hare airport in Chicago, but the "cinnamon" Woolie, as Ms. Harris likes to refer to him, was never manufactured for mass production.  His hang tags, however, did make it into production and can be found on some extremely rare and lucky 1st generation Whiskers who share the same style number.  One Woolie Brown was sold at auction on Ty's web-site for over $7000!!!  making him THE most valuable Attic in the collection.

Woolie Gold [6011] Every collection must have it's "grand old man" and in the Attic Treasures Collection, that would be Woolie Gold.  He is the dream bear of every collector and was the first Attic to be retired.  Woolie is a tiny 6" bear fully jointed and designed by Linda Harris in 1993.  Woolies are made from 100% wool as stated on their 1st generation hang tags.  Most of them have exposed seams and little pinched faces and all wear the red satin neck ribbon.  Storing Woolies is very important as their wool content makes them extra attractive to moths.  Woolie Gold was retired in 1994.
