Yusura is the weilder of the Kongoumaru and holds the title of "The Hikeshiya". She has the ability to eliminate a person's sorrow by sending it back to the one who caused it. Yusura dresses and acts like a boy, and instead of using feminine speach, she uses a more masculine form of Japanese. Despite her mannerisms, Yusura is a very kind person who would not hesitate to help someone in need.
Samon is the only son the the Sagami line, and holds the title of "Sagami no Damiyou" or "Lord of Sagami". Samon is terribly nearsighted and more or less blind without his glasses. Samon first met Yusura when he was searching for his lady, Oteru. He was certain Yusura was a man for nearly all of the first chapter. Later on, Samon and Yusura develop a closer friendship between themselves.
