One of the 5 French maids who came over with Carteret. Susanna arived in the new colony in 1665.
page 1523: Lewis C. Skinner, son of Susanna, died 20 Jan 1697 in 16th year. This would appear to be the son of Richard and Susanna (Poulain) Skinner, since she is the only Susanna Skinner that seems to be in evidence there at that time. Since he is described as the son of Susanna and not the son of Richard, it would seem to indicate that Richard Skinner, Sr., was already dead at that time.
