T1879 Peter Grant (descendant of Angus Grant U.E. L. came from the Martintown area and settled on Lot16 - 7thConcession Roxboro East east of the village of Moose Creek. Peter's father was Duncan Grant and his mother was Mary McMartin (a daughter of John McMartin and Ellen Cameron). Duncan Grant's father was Angus Grant and his mother was Ellen MacDonell (daughter of Captain Archibald MacDonnell). Peter Grant's grandfather Angus Grant is described in detail starting on page 115 of Rhodes C. M.
