Note: In 1713, William Paxson with his wife, Abigail (Pownall) Paxson
and family of seven children moved to New Castle, Del, where he
died in 1719. His uncle, Henry Paxson, of Solebury, Bucks Co.,
Pa. died in 1723, and bequeathed his property and considerable
fortune to the widow and sons of his nephew, William Paxson.
Abigail (Pownall) Paxson and her children (all but her daughter
Abigail) came back to Bucks County to live at "Marshgibbon", in
Solebury. As a member of Falls MM, she attended Buckingham
Mtg. where she was an eminent Friends;' Minster. Abigail
(Pownall) Paxson died in 1749 in 72nd year. A Quaker Saga p.
