Black Belt Club
Bushi Kai Martial Arts has instituted a Black Belt Club for the school. Unlike some clubs of this nature, there is no monetary commitment from the student. The following guidelines have to be met for induction into our Black Belt Club:
Must have expressed a desire to achieve the rank of Black Belt, and show activity towards that goal.
Must be a Green Belt or higher.
Must demonstrate a willingness to teach and to help others in their involvement in the Art.
Must show consistent attendance and have trained a minimum of one year with our school.
I am proud to announce the first three inductees into our Black Belt Club. These three have embodied the tenets listed above, and have dedicated themselves to a higher standard. The first three inducted on February 10th, 2000 (and their ranks at that time) were:
Carly Wasson - Advanced Purple Belt
Emily Koontz - Green Belt (successfully promoted to Sho-Dan 1/28/01)
Clay Christal - Green Belt
The fourth member of the Black Belt Club was inducted on 2/12/00 after his successful promotion to Green Belt.
Chad Adams - Green Belt
The fifth member was inducted on April 17th, 2000.
