CRAFTS BY PALS

(Shown below are some crafts shared by friends)

This wonderful doily was made for me by my friend Patti. It has small, colored, beads crocheted in the edge. Very nice work.

(Great Stocking Stuffers from my friend Bonnie. Here are her directions)

Two pot holders (same design) fold one in half to the inside, making a pocket....I used fabric glue because I didn't want to have to keep changing the thread color on the machine. Everything was from 'dollar stores'....tuck a small memo pad, pen candy cane and a suction cup into the pocket - it can be hung on the refrigerator or any smooth surface. In the other picture is the one I made for me for after the holidays - it matches my kitchen theme.

Joyce's first lightbulb painting. Aren't they great?

Jan's Maxi-Pad Slippers
Bedroom slippers out of maxi pads. LOL You need four maxi's to make a pair. Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part. The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top. Tape each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part(The pair in the photo were sewn together and were made by Jan S.). There you have slippers. Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers, etc.
