Gingerbread

I made these gingerbreadmen from a pattern I drew. Hubby cut them out and I painted them with acrylics, added a wire to hang them with and some fabric scraps are tied around the wire. Mine are in my kitchen, but they could also be a cute Christmas decoration.

Here is one "ginger" ornament Angela has been making. It is a small Chalkboard and she painted the trim white. Using a large and a small styrofoam ball both cut in half for the head and hands. Angela spray painted them brown with acrylic. Hot glue white baby rick rack to top of head and hands. Painted face. Stamped the "Days Til Christmas" using red ink and scrapbooking stamps. The candy canes are from the miniatures section of Michael's, they are glued on. Hot glue the head, hands and bow. Angela says, "Cryptic instructions are my specialty! If this doesn't make sense let me know! I will have to post the other pic tommorrow as once again I managed to break the other ornament I was going to photograph! Long story, but every time I make these I drop them!"
