Ceramic plate I made for Stephanie's room.
Ceramic plate I made to hang on the wall.
I covered a glass votive with translucent polymer clay...then used tiny
heart shaped cookie cutters to make the flowers and leaves. I rolled
thin pieces of polymer for the vines...baked at 265 degrees for 20
minutes. After cooling I lightly colored the flowers and leaves with
marker pens,and sprayed with matt sealer.The translucent clay glows
nicely when used alone or with a small amout of colored clay.
This is a ceramic candy dish that I painted, fired and glazed.
