Lynder's Art Gallery

WARNING!

90% of this gallery consists of dragons!

Welcome, and thank you for being curious! At least... I hope that's all you're here for. If not.. then watch your step.

To elaborate, please leave all images on this page here. These are my personal works for viewing purposes only and not to be used elsewhere. If they are, I'll have to hunt you down and slay you. ^^

Here I've posted not only my past and present art works, but also some drawing tips and words of advice. For those of you who would like to be become an artist or become a better artist, maybe what I say will help you out a bit. I'm not an expert, but I've learned a lot and gained lots of praise on my art. I hope I help some...

Update: September 2004

(A "*" marks those pictures that were just added. They are all at the bottom of the page.)

Advice: When I was in 4th grade, I entered a special art program that ran every Wednesday from 4:00-6:00. It was a class for students in the 4th-6th grade, but I went as a 7th grader because it was so much fun! I also met a lot of my friends there! To tell the truth, the art teacher of the class, Mr. Rock, was one of the best. I'm very thankful I joined his class; it's probably had the most impact on me throughout my whole life. He gave us great tips and advice, and I remember one of the most important things he told us: he told us to keep every picture we have ever drawn, maybe even make a portfolio of our art. I suggest you do the same; it's helped me!

Younger Years

(Elementary school and then some)

When I was maybe about 7 or so, for some reason I drew these dragons with info pages about them. I drew a Chinese, American, Canadian, African, South American, Asian, Eurasian, and "Thorn Face" dragon. (Yes, I realize I got the Chinese dragon all wrong, but it was my version of it, I guess! Also, I spelled things wrong, and I wrote "scents of humor" instead of "personality"! It's pretty funny!)

I used to love Yoshi to death. Here are just two of the many pictures I drew of Yoshi: "Tarzan Yoshi" and Yoshis going fishing.

I used to love Sailor Moon, too, so here's a scary picture of one of the cats. I can't tell which one. Take your pick.

Here's a cute picture I drew of a baby dragon and it's parent.

I drew this picture when I was testing out my new art set I got for my birthday one year.

A picture of two parents warning off an intruder; it's actually pretty ugly! ^-^

This dragon came out cool at the time I drew it. It was an experiment I did to make a different looking dragon.

A picture of a younger dragon passing by a sleeping adult nervously.

One of my old generic dragons.

Advice: Making up your own style is a great idea. Copying someone else's pictures exactly won't improve your skills that much. Actually, to tell the truth, sometimes using ideas from someone else's art helps sometimes! In the making of my style of drawing (mostly dragons), the legs, head features, and wings have evolved from ideas I got from other people's art. To tell you the truth, most of the sources were movies (The Flight of Dragons) and video games (Breath of Fire/Pokémon)! And if you can't tell, the eyes (pupils) I draw on my dragons I've adapted from my favorite anime Slayers.

Junior High Years

(6th, 7th, and 8th grade)

This is a cool picture. A dragon is sitting on a rock watching the sunset.

I was interested in drawing a picture with two dragons interacting with each other, which I hadn't done in a while, so I drew this one. Basically, a dragon couple. You can take a good guess as to who I was thinking of when I drew this picture. ^-^

When I was going through my "Legend of Zelda" phase of obsession, I drew this "Link dragon". I had this picture hanging on the wall by my bed for a long time!

Just a picture I drew in school when I was bored. I've made a joke about the "smoke" coming out of the dragons nostrils. Just look at the name of the picture!

This is what happens when you draw just for the heck of it: it comes out looking plain. (This dragon has a MAJOR overbite! @_@)

Another dragon I drew when I got bored in class. (Hey, most of my pictures I draw during class!)

I like how the wing came out on this one. A dragon looking over its shoulder. Wow.

This my first attempt at drawing one of my favorite dragons: my Bone dragon. The wings look cool, but the head came out all wrong. I had the Pokémon Cubone in mind when I drew this one.

More Bone dragons. They start looking better: standing in place, flying, and a baby.

I got curious again; I tried to draw a mechanical dragon. It came out pretty cool.

A picture of a mother and her baby. Aww...

When my friend was attempting to make her own manga series, I got interested in trying to draw creatures since I helped her model one for her manga. Here's one of them.

A dragonfly flying.

Just a pixie dragon.

I don't know why, but even though this dragon is really sketchy, I really like it. It has a lot of character...

At the time I drew this picture, I was just mad at the whole world in general, so I drew this picture of a dragon turning away from it all. (looking much like something Zelgadis would do!) I slightly modeled the head after Draco from Dragonheart. I love that movie...

This one looks kind of cool! A picture of a leg-less and arm-less dragon flying. (does it have any choice but to fly?!)

I don't particularly like this one, but it was kind of an experiment. I had WarCraft II and Diablo (computer games) on the brain when I drew it.

I've fallen in love with this dragon, because it was an experiment at drawing from a slightly different angle. All my dragons have "evolved" from this one, and if you've seen my Guardian dragons, you may recognize it...

A baby dragon of the previous type.

Another experiment. A friend of mine loves wolves, so I drew a wolf dragon!

The back picture on my old reading folder for school. I just had to put it up here! (After I drew the largest dragon, I noticed it looked so depressed...)

Here's a one-panel comic I drew for my locker. It's called, "A dragon's encounter with the Loch Ness." ^-^

Advice: I've been accused of being a perfectionist several times by my friends, but, I admit, it is true. In my band class, I constantly pointed out notes I'd played incorrectly, and even when I'm drawing I criticize my own work. It may sound like remarks showing low self esteem , but I actually do it to fix what I did wrong or didn't like, and make it better. That helps me become a better student, and a better artist!

The Gates to High School

(9th grade)

This dragon totally reminds me of Gourry. I don't know if it's the pose, the expression on it's face, or both!

Yet another Bone dragon.

I was really ticked off one day because my oldest sister yelled at me, and out came this picture. I modeled it after an Ancient dragon from TRY on purpose!

A sly-looking dragon with it's arms crossed.

These were my very first attempts at drawing Lina and Amelia. They came out fairly well; the only problem is the fact that I looked off other pictures... :(

I had an assignment for Japanese when I had to draw out my daily schedule. This is my favorite one: the one for "okimasu", meaning "wake up".

In my Pre-AP English (Pre-Advanced Placement) we were watching a movie on the Loch Ness Monster, so I figured I would draw. I managed to draw Amelia's head fairly well, considering I didn't copy another picture exactly, but I forgot her eyebrows! I also drew a little Loch Ness Monster by her, but the comment Amelia's making is actually about how "good" she came out.

Another Loch Ness Monster I drew.

Just an SD dragon.

This was my friend's idea. I drew it for her, and it came out better than I expected!

This is a more recent version of the "Link dragon". I drew it in school, and I couldn't remember what his shield design looked like!

An evil-looking dragon. (and my experiment to see if I could still draw dragons normally, meaning non-SD!)

I love drawing on my school dividers! Here are two SD dragons, one of them being the SD version of the one above.

Another SD "evil-looking" dragon.

A generic SD dragon. (Also known as the Earth dragon from my Guardian dragons.)

I drew a more recent version of the couple picture from the previous list. I personally like the other one better...

This dragon looks spooked; I wonder if Lina's anywhere nearby! (The invention of this dragon scares me! I got bored in church and began to sketch a picture of this tiger-ish dragon. Then when I ran into my friends a bit later, they spread the news to me that Tiger, one of my friend's pet Guinea Pig, had died over the weekend. I let my friend keep the picture I had drawn.)

A not so happy SD dragon.

I love drawing when I'm bored; the picture always comes out good! Yet another SD bone dragon.

I drew this picture to test how a dragon would be built when looked at from the side. I based this dragon off of my previous Link dragon. Unfortunately, when I took the picture out to scan it, I noticed that I had drawn the front legs too short! Behold: the midget Link dragon!

This is a character I made up based on my favorite character from Slayers: Zelgadis. The original picture I had drawn was titled "Lone Warrior", but I decided not to scan it. (I don't think it looks that good.) This is one I drew during Social Studies because I was REALLY BORED. His back quarters didn't come out the greatest, and I accidentally added the extra feature on the tail which wasn't there before, but otherwise I rather like this one.

This one's pretty funny! It's another bone dragon, but this one's a little different... I drew it during a church class I have before school everyday, and in the middle of drawing it, my lead broke! The only other pencils I could use were the red marking pencils for the class. I'll always remember how this half-and-half drawing came to be! The colors actually make it interesting...

This is a dragon I made specially for a section I want to have on my website: a fanworks section. That probably won't come to be for quite awhile, but here's the dragon: my fanworks dragon!

I was bored in school again... I don't know what brought this on, but I wanted to draw a dragon on a sled for some reason.

I drew this for myself, but it was just an idea to work off of for a Japanese assignment. We were to write a poem about our pet, whether it be real or not. I figured, of course, that I'd have a dragon for a pet, so here's my dragon, Seigi!

My friend was over when I drew this dragon. She was going through her "scar-on-the-eye" phase with her dog drawings, so I drew a scarred dragon.

I wasn't very happy when I drew this picture. I was on a field trip for Japanese class; we missed the ferry on the way back, so we were sitting on our bus waiting for over an hour. I wasn't having much fun since people on the bus, consisting of some friends of mine, were starting to get "weird" on me, so I drew this rough-looking dragon to pass the time.

I was at my Grandparents' house, and I was just bored... and making sure I could still draw a dragon from the side. This one, I think, looks cool!

Another one I drew at my Grandparent's house. This is yet another dragon couple. I was in another one of my "romantic" moods.

These two are both the same picture. During the summer after my freshman year I REALLY wanted a different style of back pack- one I could paint a picture of a dragon on with puffy paints. When I finally found the back pack I wanted and bought it, I immediately started my painting project. This picture is the original picture, and this picture is the completed project. The final one came out better than I thought! Unfortunately there at tiny, thin patches of red puffy paint in random areas of the flap I painted on... oops! (June 2002: This bag broke after only one single semester of use. -_- What a waste of money.)

Advice: I've found it's better to draw when you have inspiration or an idea for a picture opposed to drawing just because it's something to do. And also something I've noticed: this isn't advice, but a fact; when someone requests a picture it's hard to draw the picture and make it look good! -_-

The First Year of He... err -- High School

(10th grade: Sophomore year)

(Note: I drew way too much this year, as you can see. O_o)

This is a single sample of my many first attempts at people (which, in my case, were dragon-halves). It's very hideous. And the eye-patch? Well, I just erased too much, so I had to make a quick, easy alternative, otherwise my paper would've had a hole instead, no doubt.

Another better attempt. The girl's hair is very unusual, but at the time her body was the best I'd ever done before.

I drew this for my friend's birthday. Since I had no money (which isn't unusual) I baked her a batch of overly delicious Chocolate Crinkles (chocolate cookies rolled in powdered sugar) and gave her the recipe with this dragon on it. ^-^ It was fun, I guess.

These are just plain disgusting. I couldn't draw SD very well, or decent hair (which, as you might see, is just a bunch of single lines), so this is what resulted. >_<

This was drawn on one of my school dividers. I actually really like this one: a dragon and a dragon-half each unimpressed with the other.

I'm guessing this is one of the many drawings that resulted from Japanese class. I had on going thing of feeling left out and alone (since I'd been switched out of the period all my friends were in). Of course, I think I may have drawn this feeling grounded by school in general.

The first page in one of my many sketch books (when it was new).

I have a couple friends who are always starting new comic stories. At one point one of them created a creature for one of their comics, and it was just so cute that I had to try creating my own, just for fun. Of course, even though some of my friends think it's adorable, I think it just came out plain scary! @_@

This was an attempt at drawing a human from the side view. At the time I was really impressed with it. I didn't want to cover up the body I'd drawn , so I just draw the cape as if it were see-through (which it's not supposed to be, anyway). The other part of the picture is just me being silly. >:P

My state (Washington) holds a contest in the schools called "Reflections". They administrators set a theme for whichever year and the participants are to incorporate their own ideas with the theme into whichever style they choose out of visual arts, music composition, photography, and several others. I, of course, chose visual arts. The theme this year was "I Hold in my Hand...", so after much brainstorming I turned this in and tied 2nd place in my school for visual arts. Unfortunately, I never get past the district judging in these contests. ;_; (I swear, the judges have something against dragons or something!) If you don't understand what the heck this picture's all about, it's supposed to be "I Hold in my Hand the Power to Create".

This picture seems as the breaking point for my human drawings, even though she's a midget, and her eyes are incredibly large. ^-^

This, too. This was my first elf drawing, and it took two stinkin' hours to draw! Even though it's in black-and-white, I could imagine her clothes being green...

My first attempt at drawing me. Oh, horror of horrors...

I'd just seen Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when I drew this. The idea of having a familiar intrigued me, so I drew this tomboy and her dragon familiar. (If you can tell, I spent less time on the dragon than the girl. In fact, the dragon and the girl were actually drawn on two separate days.)

This is one of the many pictures I've done of my "Zel Neko" to go with my Slayers fanfic "Nocturnal Insight". It got cut off with scanning, but up on the top there's (again, me being silly) a hand holding an eyedropper labeled "Special effects!" to create the "special effect" on the kitty's head. (My sister had made a comment about him sweating, so I made it into a joke.) The girl in the background was just supposed to be one of Zel's many raving fangirls (again, me being silly), but I actually ended up putting her into my fanfic as a 6 year-old girl. @_@ Funny how that works. (She's in another picture with Kitty a little further down this list.)

I was "doodling", if that's what you can call it. I turned a human hand into a bird wing, hence the bird, then I just drew one of my pixie dragons to go with it. ^-^

Just a faerie. I was bored at home one night. (Don't ask me why she's holding a necklace. There's no particular reason as to why it's there.)

I really shouldn't do it, but I was doodling in church. (again ^^') Just some gryphons, a faerie, and an ugly lizard.

Planner pages are the best places for doodling when you're bored in class! ^^ These are several cutsie dragons and then some I was attempting to draw, but it's too hard. I'll just stick with my sinister dragons, thank you. ^-^

I was drawing this girl and her hair looked too flat, so I made it so she was actually dripping wet. My best friend accused me of putting the rag in the picture just so I could "crease it". ^^'

Just some girl running. I kind of like her hair.

It's me again, only this one actually looks more like me, I think.

This is a character from my online friend's fanfic "Slayers Resurrection". Her name is Sierra Gabriev (Yes, she's related to Gourry). This was pretty much concept art, but it's gotten all smeared over time. Oh, well.

For a church activity all the youth went to the swimming pool, but my two friends and I couldn't go in the water (Eh heh heh... ^^'), so we spent the time drawing instead. This girl's hair was inspired by Fam from Ruin Explorers.

I'd viewed an online "how to draw anime" thing (which, I admit, helped somewhat) so I was using their tips to draw this elf turning around.

Uh oh. Here we go... My first attempt at drawing the Slayers gang! @_@ Ok, so it's just their heads, but I still tried, right? I used pictures as references, but that's all. Notice how I drew them all on separate days (except for Zelgadis and Amelia, since I've drawn her all too much before).

I don't really consider this my first real "fanart", but I guess it is. It a full-body drawing of a disgruntled Zelgadis. I didn't copy, but I did use some images as references for his clothes. (Note to self: never try to draw the clothes on the body before the body is drawn.)

At my high school there's an after school program called "Visions" that submits a literary magazine at the end of the school year. People submit their short stories, poetry, or drawings to Visions and we publish them. I'd submitted these two, but for some stupid reason the people didn't put them in. (Neither did two of my friends' submissions. -_-) This first one is kind of cool. I was doodling in FST using all triangles. The second one is just plain ugly (it didn't come out how I would've wanted) but I still like the idea of the picture. It's called "Secret Identity".

These next two drawings were a break through for my human drawing capabilities. They came out so good at the time that I didn't want to add hair or clothes to the first drawing in fear that I would mess it up (and I also didn't want to cover up my seemingly perfect lines of the body). These drawings are of a dragon-half female and a dragon-half male (drawn a few days later so the female wouldn't be lonely ^^). The only reason I ended up drawing inhuman ears, hands, and feet was because I had trouble drawing a human hand on the female gripping her blade. Even so, though, I think they look cool. ^-^

I was trying to draw something else here (in church, again ^^'), but it ended up as a serpent instead.

For some reason I created this character that I've grown really fond of for no particular reason: a wyvern named Bhrelyk (pronounced Breh-leek). Since this was the first drawing I'd done of him, it doesn't really portray his character correctly. This next one I'd done of him, only in "SD" this time, I think portrays his "happy-go-lucky"-type personality better. And it's just so adorable! :D

Before a church activity I was supposed to go my church house early for a song practice, but most everyone (which should've been only about 5 people or so) was late. -_- I ended up drawing this super-spiff sea dragon to pass the time.

Still drawing people, even though this is an elf here, but that's close enough, right?

This is absolutely one of my favorite pictures. "Strange Inspiration #1", I call it. While burning the trash outside one day, performing this pose and holding a stirring stick, the idea for this drawing popped in my head.

I'd never drawn a centaur before, so here's one here. I almost gave up in the process of drawing it, since I didn't like his face, but it came out ok. For all you horse lovers out there, I do realize that his legs are in the wrong positions for galloping. (If anything, that third leg should be back with the other one, at least.)

"Strange Inspiration #2". While walking out of the P.E. locker room, looking in the mirror with my jacket tied at my waste, the idea for this picture popped in my head. While I like his face, this dude looks like he's about to snap in half at the waist. If not that, than his legs may snap, instead. It's funny I hadn't realized all this while actually drawing this fruitcake. -_-

Japanese was getting to me again. This drawing portrays exactly how I felt. (I really love the dragon's head! And I actually did it at a different angle than usual! ^^)

Another drawing of Zel Neko-chan. (My sister said he looked wolf-like in this picture. Does he really?) I'm so angry, though. I can't ever draw him at ALL anymore. I have to practice drawing him, the punk.

Just a bunch of random doodles I'd cut out from planner pages and taped into my sketch book. I like the one in the upper left corner.

Just some dragon-half girl I've been drawing since the beginning. I really like this picture, actually. A pleasant expressioned dragon-half, and a smily dragon head. ^^

This is one of my fanarts, and the other picture of the raving fan girl who became a 6 year-old. This drawing shows one of the scenes in my fanfic "Nocturnal Insight".

This was a dragon I'd created to "guard" and represent my fanworks section, but I haven't yet gotten around to scanning, coloring, and putting it on the page. ::sigh:: I really like it, too.

This was a strange miniature dragon I'd drawn right after this last one when the folded wing of the fanworks dragon gave me inspiration. (It's just plain stupid when you start getting inspiration from your own material. -_-) I'm really angry that's its eye came out looking evil instead of looking more innocent. It wasn't agreeing with me.

This is some fanart I'd drawn for my sister's fanfic. (I don't know what it's called.) This is a scene from it, and that dragon is supposed to be none other than Amelia. Strange story, yes, but very intriguing. I tried to make her look similar to the black dragon in the first episode of the first series of Slayers.

I was bored one night, so I drew my Zel dragon again.

It was still the same night, and I drew this dragon-half. Then I got even more bored and went to bed.

Here's a drawing of all three of my generic dragons of the Ages. Ok, so maybe that's an exaggeration...

This dragon is one of my adoptable Guardian Dragons (see the bottom of the page for the link), called the Fhelynus. I don't particularly like this picture, though, even though I've always liked the dragon since I created it.

I draw this dragon to be a special Guardian Dragon especially and only for my best friend's Wiccan site, but I haven't gotten around to tracing, scanning, and coloring it. I'm sure I'll do it eventually. "Khlitreda" isn't really the dragon's name, but that's what I call her. ^-^

I drew this totally spiffy picture the week of WASL testing ("Washington Assessment of Student Learning", I believe). Unfortunately, I'd drawn it on the paper covering on the tables, so I had to wait till the last day of testing to tear it off. The whole week after I drew it I was so scared someone was going to scribble on it... ;_; But, as you can see, they didn't. >:D

A friend of mine had seen my full-body drawing of Zelgadis I'd done, and she requested a drawing for herself. So, after weeks of stalling the picture, I drew this: a very ticked-off Zelgadis. It came out pretty good, but I just had to give it to her... ;_;

One of my two younger friends had requested a drawing for the bulletin board in her room, so I drew her this dragon-half, based off of a doodle I'd done during the week of WASL testing. I was pretty impressed with how it came out.

While waiting in my church class I drew this dragon quickly with a gel pen. It looks cool, but unfortunately it's head is too small. ;_; ::sigh::

This was my friend's fault. It's a humanoid cat girl. She's wearing a unitard because my best friend used to be in dance.

Here's another picture portraying the two main characters in my friend's fanfic "Slayers Resurrection". Unfortunately they don't look like I wanted them to, but it still makes for a cool picture.

These are the two main characters of a manga/story I'd wanted to draw/write. Their names are Khelik (the winged, peacock-colored dragon) and Khorjack (the wingless, red dragon). Khelik is the main character, and Khorjack is his best friend, but he's my favorite. ^^

I really love this picture. I'd just ordered the rest of the manga for The Legend of Zelda (released by Tentou Mushi Comics) after finding one out of pure chance in Seattle. I love how the artist (Akira Himekawa) drew Zelda in the Ocarina of Time manga, so I tried to copy the way he drew her eyes. I didn't do it quite as well, but they still look ok, I think. Here's the original drawing of this reptilian-human hybrid, and the colored version (done with cheap colored pencils). The scanner made the colors darker than they really are, though, so I'm afraid you don't get to see it in it's full glory. ::sniff::

I took a long break from drawing, (more than two months) and ended up drawing this tropical-looking dragon in Biology one day. It came out really good, I think.

This year was a very tough year, and I learned more about drawing than I ever needed to know.

Advice: This year I was trying my hardest to get the hang of drawing humans (which I could never do in the past). I've breached the first line, I think, but I learned something very important when I started. When you're trying to learn how to draw something new, don't get ahead of yourself. Don't start by trying to draw a masterpiece, because you'll most likely be disappointed and give up. (which I hope you never do) Start with something more simplistic- something you- and let your drawing skills blossom at their own rate. Don't push it too much. (When learning to draw people, I noticed that my dragonhalf girls with star-shaped bodies began getting longer and more shapely in just a matter of days.)

Advice: Something more I learned this year: Don't over-draw. It's good to draw frequently to get better, but again, don't push it. This year I was trying my hardest to improve, and I just ended up going through more frequent phases of not being able to draw anything good, always being disappointed with the outcome of a drawing, and beginning to view drawing more as a chore than for fun.

Advice: This is something I started to do recently. Whenever you're going to start a drawing that portrays a scene (or that maybe you just want to look good), it's a great idea to draw a plan. Not very complex, maybe just stick figures and simple props so you can get the poses and positions down before you draw the real thing.

In the Midst of It All...

(11th grade: Junior year)

It's kind of funny. When I drew this picture of my friend's character I was going through a phase when my people resembled the style in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time... Well, at least I thought so.

Someone had requested a pic of themselves, so voila! They wanted a person that looked like both Valgaav and Filia, so here's what I ended up with.

This little creature popped in my head when I was at a friend's house, and I just had to draw it... I find it very adorable! ^^ (I know, a face only Lynda could love. ;_;) Also, below it is another little creature I thought of. It's some kind of chibi chicken thing named "Chibuchiku".

With the same friend I went camping. We went down to the beach at some point and had fun whipping each other with seaweed. ^o^ I then had a strange thought: wouldn't if be funny if some villian wielded seaweed whips as weapons? (I was thinking of all those silly Marvel villians.) I had to draw it, and she and I had fun laughing at it.

This was a fanart I'd done for Slayers. My first somewhat Z/A piece... (It'll probably be my last, too @_@)

Warcraft III had just come out! Woohoo! I'd been playing it a bit when I tried this different sort of dragon head.

This werewolf I drew was actually concept art for my sister's Slayers fanfic. I swear, it's the first time I've ever drawn a werewolf, and definitely won't be the last! (There's a reason why the pupils look so "friendly".)

This was the last picture I drew before ::bum bum bum:: the dreaded school returned to haunt me. This pic is my character, Khelik, as a baby. He just opened his eyes, and his mother is affrighted by the sight of his blood red eyes. (I just sketched her in, though)

One of my dividers for school. (my Classical Literature one, to be exact ^_~)

A friend of mine and I shared the same Classical Literature class. We were learning About the different winds names (North Wind - Boreas, South Wind - Austar, East Wind - Eurus, West Wind - Zephyr) and she asked me if I could draw her a pic for her webpage. (She liked the name "Zephyr".) I drew this chibi girl, and, heck - I drew semi-curly hair!! @_@

This doodle was draw the day after the previous picture.

More doodles! Yay! Well, this has to do with Classical Lterature again. (I might mention that this class focused on Greek mythology, etc.) Anyway, while we were reading our books (in a section discussing the different types of creatures) I came across one type I'd never heard of before: the sileni. apparently it's another horse/human hybrid, much like the centaur, only it walks on two legs. Anyway, I drew it as an experiment and loved it. Unfortunately, though, that picture is not up here. ^~^' Instead, though, these are a couple of doodles I did, including the aforementioned sileni character (who yet remains unnamed) and a random female centaur.

Eh heh... I have a friend who has a thing for... flying toasters. ^o^ One morning I felt like drawing her some. I was going to do a bunch with different types of wings (normal, dragon, butterfly, etc.) but I ran out of time, so I only did the normal-winged one and the dragon-winged one. At the time we were supposed to be doing a quiz (this was history) and you can imagine how embarrassed I was when I realized the teacher was watching me draw flying toasters...

This was one of those days again... I can be a total sap. If you have a week stomach I suggest you not look at this... ^o^ (I reused my dragon-halves from last year ^^)

In Classical Literature (you can tell I liked this class!) we were assigned projects on specific Gods/etc. I, for one, being the monster-buff that I am, chose Cerberus, the guardian of the underworld. ^_~ This was the picture I drew to put on the project.

I never knew I could draw curly hair before... I was very impressed with this picture when I drew it. I don't know why I did what I did with the hands.. it just sounded like a cool idea.

I have yet another friend who has a thing for duckies. I drew these for her. ^-^ (I was also just testing.) Aren't they cute?

This is another character of mine. This is Knorjack's father, Ajhax. (I borrowed the name from Telamonian Ajax in the Iliad.)

Another father character. This is Zhenah-byth's "long lost father", Khwylos. (He has many scars from a past war) It kind of bugs me, though, because he doesn't look quite right. I couldn't achieve the exact look in his eye that I'd wanted to... I'll have to try again some other time.

Heh... this was when Sonic craziness first took me over. (Up till now, Sonic the Hedgehog had been my arch nemisis.) I attempted to draw a dragon in a Sonic-ish style, but it turns out looking more like Mega Man. ^o^ Oh, well. I still think he's cute! I ended up using him in a comic strip for a history project a bit later.

I was experimenting with a pose. I was going to add wings to this draconian, but it turned out that there wasn't enough room on the page.

I love this pic. I started it as a cat, but I turned out making into a bat woman, instead. (I think it's because I had Rouge hanging out in the back of my mind... @_@) I'm feeling that I need to color this sometime...

I was in the mood to draw something spiky with large digging claws, so I drew this rodent. It's funny, because it bares a resemblance to my "Agurii" pic from last year... only a bit more deranged.

There was a time when I had plans for yet another dragon adoption page. It was going to be "Anime Tatsu", obviously featureing dragons as anime/video game characters; however, upon realizing just how much of my time was going into the adoption pages I took the two down that I had up and abolished the project. Anyway, this is one of the many that I did. I was redoing my Knuckles dragon, but I decided it was too elaborate compared to the others.

I was trying to draw Knuckles, but it didn't work out... -_- I erased that and drew this gangster guy instead. Oh, he looks so intimidating with those sneakers. (Also, dang are his feet small! @_@)

One day after weight training My forearms were very tight and, because of it, I felt like drawing something with large forearms. (you know how certain styles do that? I love it) Still in my Sonic phase, I drew this lizard guy. He ended up looking like a gecko/salamander hybrid, so I called him "Geckamander". My friend and I made a joke about him looking like Joanna from The Rescuers Down Under. ^o^ He's one of my favorite guys to draw, hence why I kept drawing him: A crossed-armed Geckamander, a snowboarding Geckamander (by request of my friend), and Geckamander jumping.

I love frilled lizards. I think they are so cool, partly because they are pretty unusual in the reptile family... ^-^ Anyway, I ended up drawing a Sonic-styled frilled lizard that I thought was pretty cute... ^^

One day I was delivering two of my friends batches of some delicious homemade orange julius (nummy!) and when delivering one of the batches.. I suddenly had the strangest urge to draw... a skunk. ::shrug:: So, after asking for a pencil and paper, I drew a Sonic-styled skunk. I let her keep the original, and this one is a redo. I jokingly named her "Juliet the Skunk" because of the reference to orange julius. ^-^ What she's saying in the picture fits her perfectly.

Just some random guy with a scarred face (had to "spice it up" a bit.) It's kind of funny, because he looks like Link. @_@

This was a sweatshirt design that I did for choir, and, interestingly enough, mine was actually chosen. @_@ Cool... (Just so you know, our mascot is a cougar) It's jaw is a bit crooked, but that's okay, I guess... ;_;

Just drawing. I wanted to draw eyes, mostly. The hair is a bit, uh, interesting, though...

I had Harry Potter on the brain. Some guy petting his phoenix...

Doodles! Yay! I wanted to draw a naga, so here we go! Also, I drew some cutsie Mario-type mole...

These are a few random doodles I'd attacked a sheet of exposed paper in my binder with all throughout the year. (After a while it got so tired I had to pull it out and give it a break.) These few doodles I scanned are a strange llama-looking creature, a relaxing Geckamander, and a keese and a koopa troopa head.

This is about the time when I started experimenting with a new head shape (more defined eye ridges and checks). It's just my character Khelik sitting casually.

I entered a major creative spurt when I began drawing for my dragon site Lo, Fiery Serpents!. These are two drawings I did, one of a light dragon and one of a sinister, evil dragon (my favorite kind. ^^ Of course, there some errors in how I dreww the back wing... oops! >_<)

Yet again, more doodles. I was supposed to be working on math, but I got a tad bit distracted and decided that this was more important... -_-

Another one of those days. I drew a picture of Zhenah-byth nuzzling Khelik. (he was caught off-guard ^^)

My friend and I, for the hundredth time probably, were goofing off in Japanese class. She was doodling some little creature head that, after I added ears and a few other features, it looked like a mix between a donkey and a rabbit. (Of course, I was also kind of hyper...) I ended up drawing who I fondly call "Trenchcoat Freddie". He's a rabbit/donkey hybrid, just like the doodle. I should redraw him sometime. ^_~

I'd just read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire when I drew this. It's a sphinx, and I had trouble with the body... It still looks a bit odd to me.

I'd doodled a small demonic creature on one of my quizzes one day earlier in the year and, after continually doodling him at night before going to sleep, I decided to do a "real" drawing. Of course, I'd made up two different "forms" of him, along with two seperate names (I hadn't decided between them, yet) so I decided to make them seperate. So, without further ado, meet Spryk (Sprike) and Spraak. (My scanner was dumb, so they aren't as brightly colored as they should be.)

Another drawing I'd done for my dragon site Lo, Fiery Serpents!. It's currently being used as the site map. Also, don't mind the extra head intercepting the picture. I couldn't bare to erase it, that's all.

I was determined to learn how to draw feathery wings! In practicing I doodled this SD angel.

This is yet another pic I'd drawn for my dragon site Lo, Fiery Serpents!. This is another site map I'm using, and I was pleased with the outcome. It's just too gosh darn cute...

I was having fun doodling this year (if you couldn't tell). These are several doodles I'd done: first, a female unicorn with two random dragon heads on the side (of which I thought looked very cool!, and second, a male unicorn along with some strange creature I began drawing to warm up for another picture...

This was the pic I'd been warming up for. Of course, it didn't come out quite the way I'd wanted, so I gave up on trying to draw a rider. (I hate it, also, because I have trouble making hooves lie flat on the ground. >:( It looks like it's levitating.)

For this I was trying to draw Khelik, but then something happened... well, basically I changed my mind in the middle, and drew this new character I've named "Khayl". (I was in the mood to draw pierced ears.) I was impressed because I never draw dragons like this... (In color, Khayl would have blue hair. ^^ I need to draw a full body picture.)

And begins again another Zelda phase... I'd been looking through my Ocarina of Time manga again, and I was exerimenting with human heads. In this case, I first drew an elf in my usual style, then attempted two different techniques... one, with a child head (which I've never really done, actually) and the same first head in a slightly different style (mostly, I was trying to spread the eyes apart). Anyway, though, I was, again, very pleased with the outcome. Thank goodness the scanner didn't pick up all of the smudges. I'd been working a bit too hard...

More Zelda! (Yup, this is Wind Waker had come out) I'd never actually drawn Link before, so I was shocked that he was actually quite easy to draw... yes! Anyway, after playing through Wind Waker (and making some humorous mistakes in the process ^^) I was going to draw some comics to "make fun of myself", in a sense. Anyway, I'd tried drawing the regular Wind Waker-styled Link (which was extremely difficult) and a slightly differently styled one (which was, obviously, much easier) Anyway, as of yet I haven't done those comics, but I've done a few that relate to Fairies in Ocarina of Time. I was having too much fun with it... @_@ I have a single paneled one (the "_____" should be a name, but I didn't know a good one as of yet; also, he looks the wrong age... @_@), a child Link-based one, and an adult Link-based one. Have fun trying to read my scribbles! ^_~

Boredom is a bad thing. It makes me want to draw sometimes. >;) Anyway, I'd doodled these cute little creatures one morning before school.

I'd just seen X2 and felt like drawing... I drew this jackal-type guy. I love his face, but I absolutely hate his generic pose. Sorry 'bout that.

Eh heh.. I was supposed to be watching a movie about Hitler and FDR.. heh heh Don't mind my worksheet answers in with this realistic-styled dragon. ^_~

Again, this was around the time when I'd seen X2, and I felt like drawing... I was drawing randomly and out popped this cute little gremlin guy. I incorporated some other characters traits (hence I was "drawing randomly"; I'd used Shadow the Hedgehog's eyes and "hair coloring" and Nightcrawler's tail, mostly.) I fell in love with him and comtinued drawing him after the first: pretty sweet, posed (colored version), contently sitting, angry, screw-up (I just liked his face, mostly), and SD (looking a bit... high).

A friend of mine asked me if I wouldn't mind drawing some pictures for a MUD he is programming. I ended up, so far, doing Ascelpse (a humanoid gryphon), the god of balance, and Eshu (a human child), the god of chaos. I also attempted to draw Shakurin (a satyr), the god of honor, but I ended up having too much trouble.

In the beginning of the year I'd experimented with drawing a more realistic type of dragon (since I've always drawn in my own style) and this is what it was. By the end of the year, I ended up drawing this. Although the head is slightly large and a couple other aspects of it's body are a bit off, it's quite an improvement, in my own opinion.

Advice: Don't be afraid to try new techniques. You never know - it may work out better than you think!

Advice: Try to incorporate your emotion(s) into your drawing(s). If found that it works much better to portray something when you're feeling such. For example, I attempted drawing Shakurin (god of honor; not the picture on this page) before I decided that that was impossible, since I wasn't feeling serious enough for that. Instead, I drew Eshu (god of chaos) because I knew that I could easily express the mood that I wanted (and was feeling! Hoo, I was brimming with energy that day! ^o^)

Advice: A couple times this year I've received "visions" of characters or, in general, things to draw. I'll just pop in my head, and I'll draw it. Don't be afraid to do so.

* Ticket to the Realworld *

(12th grade: Senior year)

The fifth Harry Potter book had just come out, and when I read about the "thestrals" I had to try drawing one... but it didn't work very well. This came out looking more horse-like than I'd wanted. And, considering I was drawing it at a friend's house didn't help it come out much better, either... I have to try again sometime. I have the image in my head... Also, you can see the extreme distaste I have for this picture right on the page. ^o^

The male Sileni from last year.. and, as of yet, he still remains nameless. ;_;

Now.. this picture has some interesting back story to it. I'd been attempting to draw my D&D character Medea Lhey (a half-elf ranger) but I soon realized that the face looked more masculine than it should. Not being able to fix it (drawings are never manipulated by the drawer, I still believe) I decided to changed my path.. but, interestingly, that path changed once again, and this character who was GOING to be male was once again female.. and a sucubbus. O_o I was pleased with the hands (I'd learned some techniques from my temporary drawing class) and the legs were inspired by the concept art in my Art of Warcraft book and impatience to properly finish the picture. ^o^

I was just seeing how well I could draw a profile. Also, I think I was feeling this way when I drew it. I was also experimenting with ears.

I dunno what I was doing... I just was feeling random. (Let's see... insect, anteater, dragon/reptile, dog, and something with hooves)

I'd gotten idea for this picture when looking at someone else's artwork... it's symbolic, so there IS a reason for the snake's body being too large for it's head. ^^' And no, it's not sexually symbolic, so quit asking.

Just a seminary doodle. I wanted to try my hand at doing the demented, tiny-pupil look. I dunno how well it worked out, though.

Number one of the many, many physics doodles. Physics did not go well for me.. I was too lazy to do well. ;_; Anyway, I was experimenting with anatomy.

My D&D character's hippogryph Khassa. (Both are actually Greek myth character names. Khassa I made from "Cassandra.")

Another Physics doodle that actually spurned on this breakthrough. It was one of (and still is, no doubt) the best pictures I've done. But I'm tired of people telling me he looks like Yoda and Gollum mixed. ;_;

I was attempting to draw a SD-like, slightly-different-looking dragon, but the body came out too large. I have trouble SDing well.

A Physics doodle of a bulky beast. I love him. ^^

I was experimenting with anatomy shape again. Doodled in history class.

The first of a long series of demonic kitties. No stealing! I swear, I drew these things everywhere! ^^'

See? More demonic kitties! (Emily the Strange has been bad for me! lol) History doodles again.

A long time ago a friend of mine had asked me to one day draw her a vicious dragon since, at the time, she was displeased with my cartoony dragons. I finally drew this wyvern for her, and she was quite pleased. ^^

I absolutely love WereMagnus' artwork on DeviantART. Go check it out if you get the chance. Elements of this picture were inspired by her artwork, as well as the desire to draw flying locks of hair.

Another breakthrough picture. It took FOREVER to finish, but I did! And I colored it later on, too.

Yet another creation of mine. My friend was trying to draw anthroes and made me want to draw one.. and out came this general of no name. I need to give him a suitable name eventually. He seems to be part oriental dragon, wolf, and deer. Gorgeous combination, if you ask me.

I was making an avatar for my DeviantART gallery The sketch and the colored version. All the shading was done by hand -- er, mouse (with the pencil tool).

I was inspired by someone's Elfwood gallery.. I love the idea of a small, innocent little girl taming a vicious puppy. I was going to try doing on of those but ended up with just the dog... ::sigh::

My D&D character Medea Lhey, a half-elf ranger.

I was inspired by the techno song "As the Rush comes" by Motorcycle. Unfortunately it didn't come out as well I'd have hoped... A recycling of my old anthro species.

I was suffering from a rage hangover this day. My emotions felt as if they had just died. Feeling nothing, I drew it out in 20 mintues flat. Normally drawings take me at least half an hour. I labelled this thing "Delirium."

Dragon heads! I was drawing these for my DevaintART ID and ended up changing my style again. Two awesome dragon heads and an even cooler one with an underbite, as I've wanted to draw for ages. ^^

Just another pointless Physics doodle.

I was seeing if I could draw a koopa.. or rather, my own koopa. The sketch and the CG version. I LOVE HIS HAIR!! X3

Random stupid Physics doodles. Physics was REALLY bad for me. What the heck was I drawing here?

I drew and colored this picture of Bowser-sama for a contest at DeviantART, and I won! I was so pleased I could actually draw him! ^^

I was having fun with styles. I love how this Lynx guy came out. >; )

I was bored. Here's a demonic horse for you. (I was drawing far too much this day, hence the note to myself on the side.)

I was doodling for an arttrade I was about to do and.. well, just drawing in general.

The art trade for my German friend Kassandra. ^^ An archeopteryx! And, because she loves colors, I colored it all sorts of bright colors.

One of my close friends had upset me somehow and I was a bit angry when I drew this picture.. hence the jagged horns and the large teeth.

I was asked to draw a fell beast from Lord of the Rngs: Return of the King for an art trade... Here's the doodle, the sketch (which was a pain), and the final CG version (which was doubly a pain). At least he liked it...

After a long time of not having one... my persona was finally born. One night I was extremely upset and she emerged from my pencil. The way she's built is symbolic of different aspects of my personality; I call her "Jhene". (My middle name is Jean; same pronounciation) The sketch and the CG version.

I'd wanted to draw an eye... I tried to draw a human-like creature around the eye, but it didn't work. So, instead, I ended up with a dragon. Of course. ^^' The sketch and the colored version.

An art trade with Cit. Her persona. ^^ I like this one.

I was extremely upset when I drew this... this picture illustrates how I felt. The sketch and the inverted version.

An art trade with Nicknards. His character Dr. Loon E. Tick, who is just plain cool. ;p I LOVE how his arms came out...

Three of my hardly-ever-used characters.. but they still hold a special place in my heart. ^^ (Aww.. how sweet!) Left to right: Trench coat Freddie, Skrai, and Geckamander.

This picture kept changing... it wasn't an inspired drawing. Just a confused naga guy... with three fingers on each hand. ^^'

MORE KITTIES! I love them so! Also a doodle of me head, and colored versions of two kitties.

Sappy pic. Just one of those days again... A male something looking at a shy female something: the sketch and CG version.

I was hyper! A very happy dragon. ^___^ (colored version above) Also, a desktop I made.

A dragon creation of my sister's friend's from my childhood... I wanted to see one again: a cowgon. Part dragon, part dragon. And I really don't want to think how that happened. That's as bad as a hippogryph... >_<

I was bored. Just some seminary doodles of cats.

A kitty! I love this cat! I dub thee... Bleh Kitty!

I think I was drawing in Physics again... but where this came from I cannot tell you, becuase.. I don't know! The saggy eyes were just too tempting to pass up drawing. ^^ Slug steed, anyone?

I was in an affectionate mood. I love this picture. ^^' A tanuki guy squeezing a less than contented kitty.

Okay, this one didn't turn out very well. Yes, the two elements -- head and body -- look pretty good, but NOT together! I switched gears right in the middle of drawing the pic... ^~^'

It pains me ever so slightly to look at this picture even now... I was once again extremely upset and aggrivated when I drew this. I intended to draw Jhene writhing on the floor with tears streaming everywhere... but as I drew it things changed... Although I didn't intend it in the first place, this picture really does show how I was feeling.

I love birds -- but especially herons. They're so gorgeous.. I really could look at them for hours. Anyway, this picture I was turning my friend's pendant into a real creature (her pendant is a bird skull) since it caused the image to pop in my head. Also, I just like herons. ^^ I got bored half-way through, though, so it doesn't look as great as it maybe could've... though I'm impressed with the head.

Bored in Physics. I swear, you'll draw anything when you're desperate -- even a little Tikiman! I think I drew this because earlier in the day I'd seen someone with a tiki mask on their pants. Apparently my subconcious picked up on that. ^^'

A gift for 2-D DragonBoy because I loved his wyrm drawing so much. ^^ The sketch and the final CG version.

Umm.. ::coughs:: It was just one of those days, okay? No explanation necessary. Two dragons mating. Well.. the dragons look cool. Great faces.

Physics doodle again. Feeling chained in my current life. I figured I was ready to fly long ago. ^^'

Long story short.. lots of inside jokes. My friends were asking me to draw things for each other. You can go ahead and read the words on the page if you care that much. ^^' I was also working on drawing cartoony and realistic version of different dragons. I managed to color some: the frightened dragon and the suave dragon.

I was feeling mixed emotions this day. This doodle illustrates it, I guess. ...Man, I love those teeth. A lot.

Just a semi-realistic dragon head. I like it.

Springtime is my most favorite time of year, and today was likely one of the best days of the season. During my study period I sat up on the track field alone taking in the sunshine and sounds... I felt so calm I had to draw. Probably one of the best feelings I've ever experienced: tranquility. Anyway, this picture turned out to be a chibi unicorn.

It's my nameless general man again... I do love him. It's just his head, though, because I didn't want to screw it up...

Pointless physics doodles. A dreamy dragon head, an ugly, scratchily drawn dragon, and a silly-looking me being hyper.

There was a cash reward for designing a logo for some reading program... so I'd tried, but later discovered that I'd had a misconception of the content... (explanation: My high school is called "Central Kitsap High School", or CK, and the district I live in is called Central Kitsap. I realized that this program was for the district -- called "CK Reads" -- and not just the high school. So... I realized that using our mascot the cougar was probably not what they were loking for. Oh well.) Actually... I still like it. I like how it came out. ^^

For some reaosn my sketch book pages are out of order somewhat... this is a drawing I'd made of a new Slayers d20 character of mine, Felisha Ol Ferah. (It didn't come out too well in the end, unfortunately.) The original character sketch is better. Also, a sketch of a sickle/scythe weapon for her.

I was in a good mood this day, so I expressed it through my persona Jhene, looking faerie-like. Also, colored version. (Augh.. looks patriotic. >_< Not what was going for...)

Just Skrai and some random dragon staring each other down. Kawaii. ^^

I REALLY like the head on this strange little dragon fly... harpy... thing. I have NO idea what I was doing. I was just drawing whatever. But it's cute anyhow. ^^

A dragon drawn for a 1000 hits commemoration on my DevART gallery. He's so CUTE! XD I love him.. and he's even more adorable colored! Not only that, but in all different hues! (Heh heh.. I love Photoshop.)

This doodle is self explanatory. I was BORED. Both pictures tell the same story in different ways. ^o^

I like doodles, but I hate Physics. These ones were pretty good.. a stylized dragon head (somewhat inspired by my friend and awesome artist Zaiqukaj on DevART) and a dragon head I kept adding more and more detail to...

Another physics doodle. This one is bizarre. I kept adding more and more to it... I wasn't in a bad mood, but this picture kind of shows how stressed/unstable I was last year. ^^' (Can you count the six strange aspects of this picture? O_o)

My friends had asked me to draw them pictures... (my twin friends) For one, a suave dragon, and for another a unicorn. (And.. ::gasp:: you can actually tell what gender it is! O.o)

I like this page. It's a complete page of doodles from Physics. (where else..?) It includes a plan for a drawing I was going to do for a friend. (see two down for final version)

Another seminary doodle of some little naga thing... ^^'

My friend Joel, who draws anime and his own manga, had apparently been hearing of "some girl who draws dragons very well" ever since our Sophomore year. He occasionally saw my drawings around the school but never knew who I was. This last school year was when he finally learned that I was she. He's often told me he hates me because I draw dragons so well. ^^' He's hilarious. He learned most of his English in these last two years and still fosters an awesome Philipino accent. (He rolls his "r"s all the time. I love it. ^^) Anyway.. he'd asked -- or rather demanded -- that I draw him a dragon. So I did. I think he liked it... >; ) Now he always either calls me "Mormon girl" or Dragon girl". ^^

This picture brings back bad memories... at the time this was drawn I was supposed to be working on a final Physics exam... but I didn't write a thing on my packet. I didn't know a darn thing. I drew this picture the whole time... I was so angry and I had to release it somehow. And I was extremely paranoid my teacher would see me, but -- fortunately for me -- he never did.

My friend, who is a poet, had wanted me to draw an elf to go with his poem. I had a different image in mind, but, then again, I never got around to doing a background as I'd imagined, either.

We had an assignment in Japanese to relay one of the folk tales in a presentation. My friend and I wanted to draw our own pictures; this is only one of them. (Hee hee.. I love the dragon and sheep. They came out so cute! lol ^^)

An art trade with my German friend. My spin on her character Dorchadas: Semi-human form sketch, dragon form sketch, final colored version.

Being sappy. 'nough said. These people are really ugly.. lol (I have problems going between SD and normal.. O_o)

I wanted to draw myself. Me and my red coat, which I love dearly. ^_^ The normal-proportioned self is a bit off.. my mom was right. The neck IS too thin. ::sigh:: At least my SD self is cute. ^_^

I wanted to draw a cute face. Then I just HAD to "finish" the picture and ruined it.. oh well. Heh heh. FLOATING HEAD!

Heh heh.. another one of those days. I yearn for a lot. ^^'

I absolutely LOVE successful doodle sessions. This one's pretty cool. In the lower right-hand corner I started drawing some sort of pixie but my hand decided it wanted to be a naga creature instead. Among other things: a dragon with curling wings (a successful experiment), a mouse-like genie thing, and a.... rabbit? Let's not ask why my hand draws such random things. I think I was in a good mood this day.

Bored at work. Wanted to doodle. ^^ I like this curling wing stuff... heh heh.

Art trade with other German friend... though, as of yet, it is not finished. ;_; I've been so busy. ::sigh:: Anyway, currently: planning doodles, sketch. I really like his expression... he actually looks like he's DOING something. O.O Wow!

Another art trade, though this one is with Kitty-Omega. She wanted a leviathan... so I drew one. Sadly, I actually like the doodle more than the sketch..

And.. what a great way to end for now: an absolutely hideous picture of... I dunno. Some sort of disproportioned angel with a Marrill tail? O_o I was really bored and experimenting with something. ::shrugs::

Advice: I've learned this year that most drawings either don't come out as you planned or come out better than you had planned. My advice here: let your hand take control of the pencil. You'll be surprised what it'll present to you.

Whoops!

That's all for now!

Now, where did you come from, again?

The Slayers Vault Lo, Fiery Serpents!
