Otaru
The hero of our series. He's just a teenager, about his 16's, so he doesn't
quite know how to raise the marionettes, and he has to learn to care for them
and give them the love they need. Which is pretty difficult because all the
three want to marry him. Still, the more needy of his love is Lime, and
apparently she is his favorite.
Lime
Lime is the first marionette found by Otaru. Her special ability is speed,
and her circuit embodies innocence. Her childlike nature makes her very needy
of Otaru's love. Lime is pure and naive, a perfect child. This purity is what
makes Lime a favorite of many fans, including me! :D
Cherry
Cherry is the second marionette found by Otaru. Her special ability is her
advanced sensors and remote interface. Her circuit embodies motherhood. Cherry
knows how to cook very well, and is (supposedly) very mature, but she often
daydreams about marrying Otaru, making her lose control of her actions when she
does.
Bloodberry
Bloodberry is the last marionette found by Otaru. Her special ability is
strength. Her circuit embodies virtue (sensuality). Bloodberry is very sexy and
uses her charms (including her jumbo-sized breasts) to try to conquer Otaru. In
The "J to X" series, she falls in love with a circus guy named Akashi. A very
romantic episode.
Lorelei
Lorelei is the scientist who got kidnapped by the Mesopotamia, and the
reason for all this mess (see
story). She makes her apparition at the end of the J
series, and becomes more important in "J Again" and "J to X": She is the hope
of mankind for bringing women back to the world.
Hanagata
In a male-only planet, it would be logical that there would be gay people.
But this guy's in love with Otaru! He's the comedy add-on, his arrogance often
makes the marionettes kick him 100 feet above the ground. When he grows older
he becomes a minstrel and professional writer.
