Artwork

I have been drawing since before I can remember. I think the reason I was able to catch on so quickly to model horse customizing was because I have been drawing horses for so long. Here are a sampling of some of my best and favorite works.

NOTE: These pictures are of my property and copyright; do not use them without my permission.

My best works come from looking at real pictures. This Arabian is my all-time favorite piece of mine (it's also bigger than it scanned in). Pencil.

Drawn 4-6-02. Pencil and colored pencil. I love this one.

Drawn 4-3-02. Pencil and colored pencil. I really like his eyes and coloring.

This is an Andalusion, again from looking at a picture. Pen.

This is my latest realistic drawing that has a lot of work and time put into it. I drew this for my friend for Christmas (it was really hard to let it go!). I looked at a photo again, and when I was done drawing the basic horse I thought it still didn't look right, so I added the fur and it turned out perfectly! Pencil.

Finished Feb 2, 2002. I went with a friend to the art room to visit while she finished a project and busted this out, without a pic to looks at. It took about 45 minutes! I really like it, but I'm not that happy with how the head neck and shoulders tie together, I think their sized may be off... Pencil.

This guy I pulled out of my head, without looking at any pictures. I really like him, but looking at him now I think his cannons are too long, and his upper legs and front of his chest are too short. Pencil.

Brutus
I also like to draw cartoonish type horses, as seen here. This is a clydesdale with a bad attitude about something. Looks like someone just said "Et tu, Brute?" and he didn't like it...Pen and colored pencil.

Drawn 3-10-03 for my friend while out on the lawn by the dorms on an especially sunny day. Did use small reference photo. Pencil.

Drawn 8-20-03 for my friend for her birthday (an old tradition). Ink.

Drawn 8-20-03. Ink.

And here are some non-horse drawings:

11-5-02 for a friend. Pencil and colored pencil. Straight from a reference photo.

1-8-2003 saw this photo and had to draw it. Colored pencil and ink.

3-9-03 for a friend, colored pencil
