Our story begins nearly three weeks after I broke up with my first girlfriend. At the
time my heart was still shattered from the exact details of the breakup. I was with
her for nearly 3 years and knew no happiness beyond her, until that fateful day
when you and Angel Imd me. I remember you never leaving my side, even
when you were tired. You always stood by me, and soon as time went on,
I came to welcome you as one of my best friends. Someone, like my brother, like
James, like my parents, that I could turn to no matter whatever or whenever.

Time went on, and we got closer over the semesters that followed, and I found
that you were a kindred spirit. Someone just like me, in that you try so hard
to help out other people that you ignore yourself sometimes. I thought that I was
alone in that respect, and that I was a fool, but you helped me realize that people
do appreciate what I do, and that there are others as selfless as me. You became
my lady knight, but I wanted to be your pillar so I became more and more available
to you. I thought that my intent was to offer a friendly hand, but as I found out
once my junior fall semester started was that I wanted you to love me as much
as I was beginning to love you.
