OBJECTIVES

The main aim of the school’s educational effort is to prepare citizens for others – and NOT merely to develop "good professional men", however wonderful the latter, in itself be. In order to transform India into a socially just society, the student must learn to be concerned about others – especially those weak, underprivileged, marginalized, voiceless others, first in the town/village where the student lives and then beyond. He must learn to respect and value the other’s rights; no matter to what social/economic or religious class/group the other might belong.

Loyola therefore expects the parents to contribute their share towards achieving this goal. The children studying here will be exposed to the social realities in the hometown and beyond. They will be required to do certain amount of social service for their brothers/sisters in slums, brick-kilns and villages. It is this "labour of love" that will ensure the children’s stay at Loyola.
