Lori Anne Loughlin
was born July 28, 1965 in Queens, New York, and was raised in nearby Hauppage,
New York. She was formerly married to banker Michael Burns from 1989 to
1996. Her height is 5 ft. 6 in. Her agent is: Willian Morris Agency, 151
El Camino Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90212. She is curently married to clothing
designer Mossimo Giannulli. Lori and Mossimo were married on Thanksgiving
morning, November 25, 1997 in a private outdoor wedding ceremony. They
have two daughters, Isabella Rose, born Sept 16, 1998 at 7 lbs. 3ozs.,
and Olivia Jade, born Sept 28, 1999 at 7 lbs. 6 ozs. Lori is also step
mother to husband Mossimo's son Gianni (who is 12 in 2004).
Lori started a modeling career at age 11.
Lori was in national print advertisements as well as a few TV commercials,
including one for Mead Trapper Keeper in 1982. (source: Internet Movie
Database). Lori has starred in several made for TV movies. Her first on
was titled "Too Far To Go"in 1979. Lori was the original choice for the
motion picture "The Blue Lagoon", a movie that made Brooke Sheilds famous.
Lori turned it down. Instead Lori went to the daytime soap opera "The Edge
of the Night", playing the role of Jody Travis. Lori was only 15 when she
got this role, although she palyed an 18 year old. She was on that show
from 1980 to 1984. Lori said in a 1995 interview on Later (NBC) that when
she auditioned for the role the producers stated that they needed some
one who could dance, the role of Jody was a ballerina. She lied and said
she could, and got the part. When the producers found out that Lori could
not dance, they changed the role to a dancer who was really bad at dancing.
Lori is most well known as playing Rebecca
Donaldson and the TV show Full House. She joined the cast of the show in
1989 as Danny Tanner's (Bob Saget) TV show co-host and Jesse's (John Stamos)
love interest. As the show went on, Lori continued to do TV movies. On
Full House, her character Rebecca married Jesse, and they became parents
of twins. Full House ended in 1995. Since then Lori has done several more
TV movies and TV guest apperances. In 1998 Lori took time off from acting
to start a family with her new husband Mossimo Giannulli. Their first child
was born in Sept 1998 and their second was born Sept 1999. In 2000, Lori
was interviewed for E! Celebrity Profiles about 2 of her Full House costars,
one for John Stamos, and one for Bob Saget. Lori returned to TV in March
of 2001 with a guest role on the short lived NBC show The Webber Show (show
was also known as Cursed). In the fall of 2001, Lori had a guest role on
2 episodes of the ABC show Spin City.
Summer of 2004 Lori Loughlin stars in a
new hit TV series called Summerland, on the WB TV network. Lori is the
co-producer and co-creater of the show. Lori plays the character of "Ava",
a single women who is a struggling cothing designer in Southern California
who unexpectedly becomes a parent to her late sister's 3 children.
Aunt Ava now finds herself raising 3 kids: a teenage boy, a pre-teen girl,
and a young boy. Summerland storylines are a lot like the other WB teenage
shows, and should do well with its great cast.
