How much will that cost me?</B></div> <div> A: Nothing, Nada, Que Dalle... « The Uss Laennec » is totally free. Of course, if you feel like giving me a million dollars, go ahead...</div> <bR> <div> <B>Q: Cool! I wanna play a character who is half a Klingon and half a Romulan but who belongs to Section 31 and...</B></div> <div> A: All right, let me put it simply: NO. Here, we play « norms ». Your character has to be a regular Starfleet officer . An interesting background is always a plus, but it must remain playable. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Q: Oh... But the bad guys will kick my ass!</B></div> <div> A: Only if you write they do... This game is more about roleplaying than fighting aliens every five minutes, there are great video games  for that already... </div> <bR> <div> <B>Q: Errr,  I have exams next months and I am not sure I will be able to write and....</B></div> <div>  A: No problem. You don't need to ask your parents, your teachers, your boss and your priest to send us a written note if you are too busy to write for your character. Just warn us if you feel like it. You can even ask another player to write for your character or just say your character went on leave. We are all responsible grown ups!</div> <bR> <div> <B>Q: But what if someone decides to kill my character when I am away?</B></div> <div> A: It can't happen. Nobody can kill a playing character or a Non playing character owned by  another player. It's a matter of politeness...</div> <bR> <div> <B> Q: Can I write a post with another player?</B></div> <div>  A: Sure! It's called a joint post and, since those are great to write, you are encouraged to do so! </div> <bR> <div>  <B>Q: Oh, I just had this great story idea, can I write about it?</B></div> <div>  A: Well, every story idea has to be submitted to the GM. Not that we question your creativity, but you probably didn't have time to read all the previous posts and you can't be sure the idea wasn't used twice already... </div> <bR> <div> <B> Q: Hey! Why were some things changed in my post?</B></div> <div>  A: This game is moderated. It means that the GM take the time to read every post before it is sent out. This way, it helps preventing incoherences when several posts are sent in at the same time and contain contradictory informations. By the way, please, spell check your posts before you send them in. Everybody can make typing mistakes, but remember the GM takes on his free time to read, edit and send the posts out! </div> <bR> <div>  <B>Q: can I get fired from the game</B></div> <div> A: I would prefer this never to happen. But... If a player keeps ignoring those few rules or writes too often posts that completely ignore what the others wrote, or becomes, in any way, a nuisance to the game and its players, disciplinary sanctions will be taken. It's just a game, but we can't allow anyone to ruin everyone's fun... Oh, the game is rated R.
