Break Mecha Thrash!Mecha Thrash is done, completed, and finished - any way you want to put it, you've got the final release in your hands. We've crafted an elaborate and well-written sourcebook here. Now we want you to break this mo'fo'. You heard right. I'm damn confident that practically anything can be done with this system, and that means that I'm willing to put it to the test with the second Electronic Transcendence challenge. Your job, whether or not you choose to accept it, is to make me look like a big loser and find something that you want to do with Mecha Thrash that can't be done under the existing system. It can be with frame construction, character creation - bottom line, you just have to find something that can't be done. Here's how it works. You scan the rules and look for something that cannot be done (obviously), then either post it on the Thrash Mailing List or mail it to me directly at eltf@hotmail.com. I then do my darndest to try and prove to you that it can, indeed, be done. Every entry will be posted on this page - anonymity will not be provided unless specifically requested - along with either my description of how it can, indeed, be done, or the concession that you have broken the system and I suck. Prizes? Well... hopefully, the credit for having aided in the creation of a really cool sourcebook for Thrash is plenty. (I'm a starving college student, guys - my spare money goes into the existence of this page.) But any and all winners will be contacted by myself, and we'll see if we can't work out something for each person on an individual basis. And I did say winners - just because one person breaks it doesn't mean more can't. So, read the small font below, and enter! You have until March 22nd, 2001 to try and break the system - so get cracking! As required by our nonexistent legal department, all the rules are written in really small type so they're hard to read and we can laugh at you when you send in an incorrect entry because your screen resolution is too low. ;>
