[ Pen & Paper || RPG Making || Miniatures ]

This is the hub of all RPG-related materials on Electronic Transcendence. Since there can be multiple interpretations of what that would imply, the section is divided up further to keep everyone happy. (Good goal, that. Keep people happy, Homer-esque cynicism aside.) There are three sections under which the material is contained, as follows.

"Pen & Paper" is material for RPGs like Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Mage: The Ascension, Deadlands, and the like. They are played around a table with a GM and other players, and usually a large portion of junk food. (I can live without the junk food. I seem to be an oddity in that regard.) As per usual, these are text files (although the monstrosity that is Mecha Thrash has a bunch of pretty pictures in its HTML incarnation).

"RPG Making" is for the family of programs designed to let you custom-build your own CRPG with little to no programming knowledge. It is a field I am quite fond of (I do have programming knowledge, but this is just so much EASIER). This contains my personal favorite monster sets, tilesets, and character sets. It's closed at the moment, but that's just ET's growing pains again. Just wait. Unless otherwise noted, these are NOT by me. For the actual programs, look under The Stockpile.

Finally, "Miniatures" covers all tabletop games where one side pounds the living snot out of another side, such as Battletech, Kryomek, Space Hulk, et cetera. As of this writing, about all that's there is for Battletech (miniatures are not my biggest field), but this section could easily get larger as I get more cash and free time to waste on slaughtering opponents.
