Wild Things Craft Session
at Lewis Carroll

Here's some pics of the first of four craft sessions that occurred on consecutive Thursdays during the summer of '99 at Lewis Carroll Library. This session took as its lead Maurice Sedenak's classic tale of the adventures of a young boy named Max in a land 'Where The Wild Things Are'. The first two pics show some of the kids colouring in sheets, while their mums look on at the tables.

Young Tracy (dressed in black) and friends colour their sheets, while those kids who couldn't find a table get busy on the floor, mums and nursery helpers looking on.

Steve looks at the kids nearby and listens as Sharon reads a story about a little lion cub who wants to friends with all the animals that he's supposed to hunt down instead.

Steve takes over and reads the story in his own way.
