The next two pics featured young Bessie, who volunteered to play an unconscious child being resuscitated (note how Claire checks for a pulse on both her throat and wrist). She'd earlier shown us all how to place an injured person in the recovery position and spoke on how important it was to keep them awake by speaking to them until help arrived.
Sitting next to Sian (her mum in the black t-shirt), Bessie listens as Claire showed how to stop a child from choking and what to do in order to remove an blockage or obstruction from their throat using one of the dolls she'd brought along that morning.
While the talk carried on, Sharon went and read a story to a local nursery group who'd come in as they do every Thursday morning. Here they are, enjoying a story about the little puppy they call Spot, while Brinkley and Brogan listen and lend a hand below.
