Easter Egg-travaganza
at Lewis Carroll

Here's some pics that I took at an Easter craft session back in April '00. The first pic has Sharon Goldson showing the children assembled what to do as far as making their own Easter eggs. With that done, the kids got cracking (no pun intended!).

Here's Jonathan looking thoughtfully at the camera while his sister Tracy and their cousin Alec (wearing his yellow Manchester United goalie's jersey - boo!) busy themselves with coloured pencils and markers at hand. Young Alec made a Pokemon Easter egg with Pikachu on it (pika!pika!), notice his pile of trading cards to his left (highly treasured, no doubt). In the background, you can see Sharon pointing out certain books to a local mum and her son, named Timothy.

We find Sharon working on a giant display that was to be placed in the window (I did my bit, drawing and cutting out giant sunflowers as well as making  ribbons with green tissue paper) . Helping her out, from left to right are Nivca, Stephen and Khadijah.

While some of the kids seemed a little camera shy, I found Emma, Lillian and Ginika anything but! With her back to the camera is Ginika's sister, Chisom.

Here's a classic example of what I meant. Young Chloe most definitely DOES NOT want to pose for me (though her golfer's hat has a nice swoosh on it!). Her friend Nicola doesn't seem to mind much though, cutting a pattern in some card.

More posing amongst whilst the craftwork goes on. Clockwise from bottom left, are Echezona, Chisom, Emma and Ginika.

More library pics soon.
