Every Monday afternoon at 2 p.m., the year 2 class from Blessed Sacrament School comes along to Lewis Carroll to have a story read to them by either Sharon or Steve. Here's the pics that I took one Monday in mid-November, starting off with one I took while standing on a table behind Steve.
Here's
two snaps of Steve and year 2's teacher, Ms. Fazio, holding up a copy of
'Goldilocks & The Three
Bears'
that was made by the entire class.
Here's
one of Ms. Fazio holding up the book
that
the class made for them to read along to
(and
v.well they did so too, I have to say).
Having read the book they made, Steve them a story of his his choice. Here they are listening attentively.
I always love seeing the look on children's faces when they're enjoying a good story being read to them, as you can see from the pics below.
Just
before the class headed back to school, a
little
girl by the name of Tunrayo wanted to show everyone a medal she'd won at
an event on Highbury Fields a few weeks earlier. Here she is, proudly standing
between Steve & Ms. Fazio. It alwats a real pleasure having local school
come around and take books and have stories read to them, I hope to get
some more pics over the next few months or so.
