General Veers is completely loyal to the New Order of the Empire. General Veers commanded the ground forces in the battle of Hoth which were part of Darth Vader's elite Imperial Death Squadron. General Veers prepared an invasion 
army to knock out the Rebel shield generator protecting the base. General Veers's army was made up of Imperial AT-AT walkers backed up by AT-STs. From his command position atop the lead walker.
General Veers and handful of troops escaped the destruction of the Death Star. General Veers had to survive on his own in the jungles of the fourth moon of Yavin because his shuttle was shot down. General Veers eventually rejoined the Empire. Veers faced personal shame when his teenage son left the Empire joined the Rebellion. Very little is known of Veers after the fall of the Empire at Endor but Veers dose reapper again during the resurrected Emperor's campaign as a ground officer at the Battle of Balmorra.
