When Dack was a boy he was a prisoner in the Kalist VI labor colony when Dack reached the age of 17 he escaped for the Kalist VI labor colony. After Dack escaped from the Kalist VI labor colony he went and joined the Rebel Alliance, and trained to become a pilot and gunner. Dack flew with rouge group as Luke Skywalkers tail gunner. When Dack flew at the battle of Hoth with Luke a shot to the aft of the snowspeeder killed Dack instantly.
