There
seem to be so few people that really care about animals these days.
Fortunately for the animals there are people, like myself, who do care.
As a vegan I'm taking a step to help the animals and educate people.
Every day animals are killed and tortured needlessly. Scientists
call their form of torture "research", but they learn very little from
this so called research. They can do research and get results with out
the use of animal torture. Murder for food is ok because we "need"
it. No we don't. There is a difference between "need" and "want."
If we need meat
so much then why is it that on average vegetarians outlive all you meat
eaters out there? And vegans live an average of almost TEN years
longer then the rest of the population. It's been proven a vegetarian
and vegan diet is healthier for you; so you can't use that excuse.
Animals barely get to live before they're horribly slaughtered for meat
and skin that isn't even needed. I don't understand how killing a
person is murder, but if you kill an animal and mount it's head on your
wall it suddenly becomes a sport.
Another thing
which saddens me is the lack of concern we show for our environment.
Habitat destruction might make room for a few more people, but it destroys
life in the process.
Anyway here's
some stuff I dug up off the Internet. So check it out even if you
don't care, because you may actually learn something.
