GARRY BIRD LM, back on the
winner’s dais for the first time in 12 months, was doing his best in the quest
for the pot at the end of the rainbow – with nearest the pins on the 1st
and 9th. He was high on the list of prospective
hole-in-one winners.
GERRY MANDERSON had a 24
point walkover to take the visitor’s 1st and enjoy a Bradman downer. In January Gerry shot a 49 pointer and beat the field by
16. Last month, playing off a reduced handicap, he
beat the field by 24. We enjoy your visits – try to

apace – if the “target dates” of 4-5 Nov have been confirmed, secure your
accommodation ASAP. The Port is a holiday resort and
