Rosa- White Wizard (Right Handed) Rosa is Cecil's female companion. She is a trained White Wizard, and a welcome addition to the party. She wields a bow and arrows, and with her Aim command, she could she could shoot a flea of a stampeding rhino's back.

Kain- Dragoon (Left Handed) Kain is Cecil's best friend. He is a Dragoon, the highly trained soldiers of the Baron Kingdom. He attacks his opponets with his hefty spear, and with his Jump command. He leaps high into the air and misses almost an entire round of combat before crashing down upon his unsuspecting enemies.


Rydia- Caller (Right-Handed) Rydia is a young Caller of Mist. Her mother gets killed by Cecil through an unfortunate accident, but she joins the party anyway. As she begins, she can use a little Black and White magic, plus she can summon monsters. Later, she is able to use high level Black magic and summon powerful creatures.


Tellah- Sage (Right-Handed) Tellah is an ecentric old sage that is after his daughter, who eloped and ran away with a bard. Though he has forgotten many of his spells, Tellah proves to be a valuable ally with his White and Black magic.


Edward- Bard (Right-Handed) Through the use of beutiful music, Edward uses his skill as a bard to lure the enemy to sleep. Although he is generally weak, he makes a good target for the enemies to keep them away from your more important characters.


Yang- Karate Master (Both-Handed) Yang is a Karate Master of Fabul. He is the last master left after they were amushed and all the other masters were killed. He uses claws on both hands to gouge his enemies. Coupled with his Kick attack, in which he attacks all his opponets, he is a very powerful member of the team.


Palom (Black Wizard) & Porom (White Wizard) - These two young wizards are from Mysadia. Palom is slightly arrogant and mischeveous, but he is very intellegent. Porom is kind and polite. They can combine their powers to unleash a special attack that leaves the enemies reeling.


Cid- Master Engineer (Right-Handed) Cid is the Master Engineer of Baron. He is the creator of the airships. He is dissappointed to see his Red Wings used for war and destruction, for that is not what he intended. He uses hammers as a method of attack, pounding his enemies to a pulp. He can also Peep and learn a creatures strengths and weaknesses.


Edge- Ninja (Both-Handed) This young man is the crown prince of Elban. His skill as a ninja is unsurpassed. Though a little spoiled, his 2-Handed sword attacks and his Thorwing technique are powerful. He can also Steal and use Ninja Magic. Though his is a little weak when you first get him, you will soon learn that he is powerful none-the-less.


FuSoYa - Lunarian (Both-Handed) This mysterious character isn't native to Earth. He is a powerful wizard. He can use HIGH level Black and White magic. He reveals much of the mystery to Cecil, and is as ancient as the Moon.
