Judy's first web site was created for a good friend who helped her build computer skills. Sadly, her friend passed away before Judy could surprise her with the pages she had created. After that, Judy decided never to let a day go by without trying to make someone smile no matter if it was with a graphic or a note. She still uses her web site to make people smile and hopes that people who visit her pages can get to know her a little better.

Judy lives in Ohio. Her family consists of five children and fourteen grandchildren. When Judy is not busy with the Divas, she works as a traveling gauge calibrator for a large company. Judy likes to relax by reading, writing poetry, painting and building web pages. She also likes to travel and spend time with her grandchildren.

Judy says that her family and friends make her happy. She feels sadness to see people hurting and fighting and says that life is too short. Judy says that if she could change one thing it would be her appetite for good food.

When asked about a hardship that helped her grow, Judy had this to say. "Being a single mother of five children with little help has taught me that money does not buy happiness, but love can. It also taught me patience and how when I am stressed, making someone smile or doing something for someone can relieve it. Having been in an abusive relationship has taught me that not all people are what they seem, and others are more then you could ever wish for. God has blessed me well."

Judy has several causes she has worked on, but says the most important one is her "Christmas Magic" site. She bought that domain to show that there are people out there that really care about our men and women in uniform, and realize how important they are in our lives. "I use this site to bring cheer to these important people at a time that can be so lonely for them. Every year we try to get the word out and collect messages and graphics for cards to post on the site and then send out the url to military contacts to share with them. A little touch of home for those so very far away. This year I have also been asked to develop a poster for Toys for Tots to help collect toys for the children of our military personnel."

What the Diva's mean to me:

The Divas are a family of women that I would not trade the world for. They make me smile when I am down, they make me laugh, and they share my tears. What more could anyone ask of a family? I have never belonged to a group that got along so well, never quarrels, and is so willing to share their hearts.

Why I joined:

Angel Spirit asked me to join this group probably about a year before I joined. I had had a pretty bad experience with a group online, fighting and bickering back and forth, and was in no hurry to do that again. I went around the internet and looked to see what I could find out about the Divas. When I finally decided to join I remember thinking to myself, this is a commitment I made and I will be a part of this group. I have never regretted a day that I have spent with this group that seem to be more like family. The Diva's make each one of us feel special and that is why I enjoy being a part of them.

From Kathryn:

Judy has always been a true Diva of the'Net in everyway. She is always willing to lend a hand when needed. She has shown love and devotion to her Diva sisters in many ways. Judy is a member of the POL committee and is always the first one in with her monthly report. The skies smiled down on the Divas of the 'Net when Judy joined our organization and we are proud to call her one of our own.
