There are some interesting facts about West Virginia.
- Every West Virginian is insured from the coal mines that if a mine is found under your property, they have to come in and fill it or move your house. This has actually happened to me. We have a condo up near Blackwater Falls in Davis and a few years ago, the house in the middle of the complex started to sink. Come to find out, there is an old coal mine under the condos. It was about 8 feet tall, which means it was a fairly rich coal mine. They had to come in and fill the mine with concrete.
