Having
decided that 'Frank' is needed for their ritual as a possible guide, 'Joe'
mulls over what to do. |

| 'Frank'
has been kidnapped and forced to drink rattlesnake venom. 'Joe' questions
'Frank' intensely, "....when will the prophecy come true?...when will the
buffalo return?" Frank, in an altered state of awareness, reveals that
the prophecy has already been fulfilled. Joe becomes riled....but the NYPD
finds them before 'Joe' has a chance to make 'Frank' go...ahem...."all
to pieces". |

In
the final scene, many of the group have escaped to the streets of New York.
A handful of buffalo go running past, a very incongruous sight amongst
the tall buildings. It seems a Rodeo truck has overturned and it's cargo
are making good their escape....chased by rodeo clowns. Just before 'Joe'
is wrestled to the ground by police he turns to Frank and looks at him
questioningly....and there is a wealth of emotion and torment in his look! |
