In
the CBC mini-series "Big Bear" Michael plays the part of "Wandering Spirit".
In this scene he has been handed the pipe and is now the War Chief. He
declares solemnly, "..Because I live on the earth, supernatural is my sight,
clean is my heart. |

| After
having dealt with "Quinn", the Indian agent, "Wandering Spirit" contemplates
his position ....and how to proceed. As usual, Michael potrays the intensity
of the character with minimal effort ...and with great effect. |
"You
are all my prisoners." |

| "I
speak here now!" |
Due
to the deprivation on the reserve the Cree warriors, under "Wandering Spirit's"
direction, march on "Frog Lake" and interrupt the Sunday services....which
is where this scene occurs. |
