Marnie, Sonja, whatever did you put in that last batch of
tea and muffins? Some somniferous potion? Either that or Sonja's
frybread is sitting like a ton of bread in their tummies and they can't move...
We posted exciting news straight from Michael a few days ago about his being in
an upcoming episode of Body and Soul, on the PAX TV channel...and no reactions???
Nichts-Rien-Nada-Zip-Zilch.

Perhaps the WTS transported the regulars here to some alternate universe for
dubious purposes?

Just teasing. Where *did* you hide everybody?? C'mon, you can tell us...
It's lonely around here! We'll brew some extra-strong Kona java. Cream, sugar,
one lump or two?

*  About the PAX channel - Jan & Vickie, Oct/4/2002 07:12:40 [-05 EST]

PAX doesn't seem to be a cable channel but rather a standard
channel that you can get on regular TV, although it can be viewed
through cable as well. At least that's what we understand.

Its programming is Christian-oriented. Take a real close look at
your local TV guide. Here's a link from PAX's website so you can see
if it's available in your area (U.S. only - sorry, Marnie):
                  http://www.pax.tv/stations/list.cfm

                  Hope this helps!

Here in MA its on channel 68 and its suppose to be on cable as well.
The guy who runs it is Christian committed to wholesome programming.I believe he had bought a cable channel as well.
But THANX ladies JAN and Vickie!
I wasnt asleep but figuring out when the next episode of Body and Soul was. They have the episodes on the website each week it seems.

*  Trouble! - Marlene, Oct/4/2002 11:45:14 [-05 EST]

                        Hi Jan&Vickie,
This is the first time that I've been able to reach
the MESSAGE BOARD--kept being bumped off.
Anyway, I think I'm very lucky--I can get Pax!
I also think it would be a good idea if us loyal
fans of Michael left a message in your guest book
page. Maybe from somewhere in the world, Michael
might have time to run through them. What do you
                        think???

*  Reply to Marlene - Michael's Guestbook - Jan & Vickie, Oct/4/2002 13:14:14 [-05 EST]

Marlene, that is a great idea. Michael really enjoys reading
all the postings on his Guestbook. He is sure to be
encouraged by reading comments from his fans who've seen
his performance in PAX's Body & Soul episode!

                        Thanks for suggesting this.

                        Best wishes,
                        J & V

*  Vacation--Lucky you! - Marlene, Oct/4/2002 11:53:01 [-05 EST]

far. Nellie said she'd try again later today.
That was nice that the mayor reads to the kids. Was
            that in Weymouth?

I'll be visiting my son and his family. Haven't
visited with them since they came here last November

Dale, have you visited Mt Wachuset,Lake Quinsigamond
and Tatnuck or have you ever gone to a football
game at Holy Cross College on Pakachoag Hill?
These are all around Worcester, where I was born.
As I stated in a previous message on the board, I
started seeing Michael as the main character in
my story "The Changing of The Tide" which I hope to
publish next spring. I thought I might put the
synopsis of the story here on the board. Remember
read it with the idea that Michael Greyeyes could
easily play Tagaset in a movie!TEE HEE!

                        Here it is:----------------------------

The Changing of The Tide---by Marlene Monroy
                        ____________________________________________
Go back to a time before the American Revolution.
Go back to a time when the great forests of
Massachusetts reached to the shore of the Atlantic
                        Ocean and
the trees and sky were filled with beautiful birds
and great herds of deer roamed the forests and there
was food a plenty for all. Here Massasoit,Metacomet
TAGASET,Abigail and Sassamon try to survive in a
world of British conquest and the Indian's bitter
                        fight to survive it.

*  Re: Back With ya, Dale! - dale, Oct/10/2002 16:36:03 [-05 EST]

                              I've been to downtown Worcester only to see a concert;
Id LOOVE to read your book in its entirety....and just WHO IS ABIGAIL???????(a LOVE interest?)

*  You guessed it,Dale! - Marlene, Oct/10/2002 20:15:48 [-05 EST]

Tagaset and Abigail are lovers. Abigail is an
indentured servent from England and living in the
Plymouth Colony. Tagaset is the son of Massasoit
and lives in the Wampanoag village at Mt.Hope.
I'll give you a couple bits here-------------------

"-----Tagaset took Abigail into his arms and
                                    made love--------------------------------------
They fell asleep in each others arms until day
quietly crept across the green grass on the banks
of Quinsamonga (Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester)

                                    Still interested????????TEEHEE!

*  OHHH YEAHHHH!!!!!!!! - dale, Oct/15/2002 13:02:28 [-05 EST]

Are you gonna expand on the love scene.....or let us use our minds?

*  Thanks Dale! - Marlene, Oct/15/2002 18:44:16 [-05 EST]

                                                I'm off to Wampanoag/Nipmuck country(Massachusetts)
                                                in about 52hrs.
I do have some more sizzeling love between
Tagaset(Michael) and Abigail(??) in my story. I'll
see if I get more inspiration when I'm in MA looking
at the ocean and the beautiful leaves of fall.
I'll see what I can do when I get back TEEHEE!
Bye for a while,to all Michael
                                                Greyeyes loyal fans.

Hit the phones, fans - PAX show canceled?
Author: Jan_&_Vickie , Oct/10/2002 20:26:14 [-05 EST]

According to a messageboard for the series "Body & Soul" on
PAX TV, this series was cancelled as of this morning. We do not
know yet how this will affect the airing of Michael's episode,
"Graveyard Shift," which he just filmed 2 weeks ago in
Saskatoon.

The PAX website does not seem to be accepting EMail at this time.
However, the number for Customer Relations in Florida is:
888-467-2988 and 561-682-4267. Press #4 to speak with or leave a
message for the Customer Relations manager. Let's see what happens if
enough of us call requesting that this episode be aired.

If we get any more concrete details, we will post them here and of course
on Michael's official fansite.

Thanks for expressing your support.

Jan & Vickie

PAX show cancelled? Let's call!
Author: Jan_&_Vickie , Oct/10/2002 20:48:37 [-05 EST]

We just posted this here but it's not showing up. Apologies if
this same news appears twice.

We just read that this morning PAX TV cancelled its Body & Soul series. We
don't know yet whether the episode, Graveyard Shift, that Michael
filmed 2 weeks ago in Saskatoon will still air.

Let's phone and express our support. Here's the number for PAX's
Audience Relations in Florida - press 4 to speak with or leave a message
for the Audience Relations Manager:

888-467-2988 and 561-682-4267

Let's keep our fingers crossed! If we hear anything, we'll let you know.

Thanks.
Jan & Vickie

*  More re. MG on PAX episode - Vickie and Jan, Oct/12/2002 19:02:31 [-05 EST]

We left a voicemail message for PAX's Audience Relations manager,
but have not yet had the courtesy of a reply. From what we can
decipher via a PAX messageboard re. the "Body & Soul" series, 8
episodes in total were filmed, with Michael's episode "Graveyard
Shift" being #8. If PAX decides to air the remaining episodes, then
by looking at the episode schedule, that airdate would seem logically
to be the 4th or 11th of November. We're doing our best to find out something
definite on this matter and have informed Michael as well. As soon as
we hear whether this episode will indeed air, we'll let you know here and
      via Michael's official fansite.

It would be good if fans would call PAX's Audience Relations number and express
their interest in seeing the episode. The number is posted in our
message above. Let's show our support!!

      Best wishes,
      Vickie and Jan

*  Just Called! - Marlene, Oct/14/2002 13:55:24 [-05 EST]

I got to talk to a live person in Audiance
Relations Manager's office. She said to send e-mail
to WWW.PAX.TV and click on CONTACK US
The message stating that they are not accepting
mail at this time refers to POST OFFICE MAIL only.
They will read all e-mail messages.
Hope there will be good news soon on the series.
We can't take another "Sam"s Circus" deal! Right??

Just got an E MAIL back!
Author: Marlene, Oct/14/2002 14:14:42 [-05 EST]

They thanked me and said if it is urgent to call
VIEWER RELATIONS at 1 888 467-2988
Jan&Vickie, you probably got this far also.
Good luck
Marlene

Marlene, you had better luck than we did - you actually spoke with a
real live person. Each time we've called PAX, we've only gotten a recording.
So far we've left 2 voicemail messages and sent an EMail message.

Will let you all know if we get any further info from PAX on
whether or not they will still air Michael's episode.

Thanks to the fans who've taken the time to contact PAX about their interest in
seeing Michael's episode of "Body & Soul"! For those who haven't called yet, please do!

      Regards,
      J & V

*  Just spoke with PAX - Jan & Vickie, Oct/15/2002 08:48:59 [-05 EST]

Homepage: Michael Greyeyes' Official Fansite

Just spoke with the Audience Relations manager at PAX TV. He says
that the cancellation news is not confirmed. PAX is scheduled to
air all the episodes of Body & Soul that they have received
(meaning all the episodes that were filmed). He did not give us
      any additional info or details.

We will still keep an eye out regarding this matter.

That's all we could find out. A bit inconclusive and non-committal, but
it seemed like a reassurance that PAX plans to go ahead and air all
existing episodes. Our guess is that, if this indeed is the case,
Michael's episode would air in early November -- judging from the sequence
of episode listings we have seen on the Net.

      Regards,
      Jan & Vickie

*  Good News! - Marlene, Oct/15/2002 18:27:55 [-05 EST]

            Jan&Vickie,
Sounds encouraging that Episode#8 will be seen on
Pax early November----Thanks for keeping us
            informed.

*  Body and Soul series on PAX tv - Cheryl Grzan, Oct/25/2002 21:59:03 [-05 EST]

I would like to know if anyone has more information on the Graveyard Shift episode that will air on PAX tv after all.

*  Hold on! - Marlene, Oct/26/2002 16:05:27 [-05 EST]

We are all anxious to hear about"Graveyard Shift"
I believe Jan&Vickie will tell us as soon as they
know anything. Let's all keep the fingers crossed!

*  PS! - Marlene, Oct/26/2002 20:02:16 [-05 EST]

            Cheryl,
If you go to Michael Greyeyes Official Fan Site you
will find by clicking "Body and Soul episode line

Body & Soul being cancelled, bummer!

            comforting thought!(sigh of relief)
To Marlene and Marnie "Hope you are having a grand time!"

Marlene you could always keep us entertained with
            Tagaset and Abigail.

Hi Everybody!
Author: Marlenerlene, Oct/25/2002 20:58:35 [-05 EST]

I got back from Massachusetts this morning at 1AM.
I got to visit the Plymouth Plantation(of course
that's not the way the pilgrims spelled it)
They had a replica of the Wampanoag Indian Village
and an Indian woman was giving a very interesting
talk on the Indians at that time and at that place.
It was great sitting inside the Wampanoag Wetu
(An Indian home)with the animal hides for warm
comfort in the Winter time.
I guess I'll use that fact when Tagaset(Michael)
and his Abigail curl up before the burning logs
with smoke climbing up and out the Wetu in the roof
above.
Anyways,I checked on a few historical facts and
found that I had presented them correctly in my
story.
I still have to get copyright and I want to publish
it. I will put the begining of the first chapter
here tomorrow.
Marnie, did you paint that picture of Michael on
the CHAT PAGE? If so,you did it again for me,
because that's how I see Tagaset.
EVERYBODY! GO TO MARNIE'S SAT. ChAT PAGE AND TAKE
A LOOK!

Panting for your first installment of Tagaset and Abigail.

                  Chapter 1.-----------------------------------

Metacomet(Wes Studi) knelt and scooped up a
handful of sand. He watched as it filtered
through his fingers and fell again to the beach.
Massasoit came and stood beside his son,and looking
down along the shoreline to the English jetty,he
saw four men carrying logs from the forest for more
                  building.
"You are concerned about the whitemen buiding
more lodges. It is just that they are very eager to
work. They are not lazy", Massasoit said, looking
                  into his elder son's eyes.
"Father, you do not see the danger! You do not feel
as I feel about these white people who come from far
away to our lands. These are our lands my father!
The Great Spirit,Manitou, placed us here on these
lands. These white people were placed some other
place. They take and take and take even more and do
not give back anything of value" Metacomet looked
at his brother with sadness in his eyes and con-
                  tinued,"Tagaset's little friend,Abigail,is a victim
of these white plunderers. Think my father. Think
how they make her her suffer. She is like a slave,
even though she is of thier own white blood. What do
they have in store for us, since they treat her
                  so?
"Father!" Tagaset spoke, placing his hand on his
                  father's arm,"I believe Metacomet is right. I don't
like these Englishers. I don't trust them."
The elder Sagamore looked to one son and then to
                  the other.
"And what of John Talbert, what of him? Do you say
                  he is like the others?"
"No father,John Talbert is a religious man. He
was persecuted in his own land. He and his
followers came here to practice thier religion in
                  freedom,"Tagaset answered sincerely.
"Yes,and look how they treat him and his people!
                  They make them outcasts,"Metacomet added.
"I have welcomed these white people, all of them.
I will not go back on my word! Besides,my sons, they
are only three hundred souls in that little colony.
                  What harm can they do?"
"Only three hundred now,but look,I know there are
more on that big sailing ship. There will be more
sailing ships and more and more white people. Where
will the animals and birds go? Where will we go,
my father? Look at the tide, see how it changes? I
feel our lives will change as the tide is certain to
change. With each change of the tide we will be
pushed further and further until we will be like
the poor creatures that are left behind after the
great waters sweep out again. Look to the west,my
father,I believe these white people will push us,
                  the Wampanoag,Nipmuck,Nassawa,Peguot,Narraganset
and all our friends and even our enemies on and on
westward. They will not stop until they have it
                  all!"
Tagaset felt a cold chill run down his spine. He
looked at his father. The old leader of the
Wampanoag smiled at his two sons. They remembered
how he had gone to war many times and returned a
great and wise leader but now time had dimed his
mind a little and age had crept into his
once tall muscular body. He looked on his sons with
the patronizing softness that a parent betows on
                  thier imaginative children.
"Your imagination is out of control,my son.
Tagaset,do not be frightened with your brother's
wild dreams. Metacomet,I believe we can live beside
these white people. They are all our friends. We
must share with them. Enough of this foolish talk!
Come, your mother has prepared our meal and I am
                  hungry."
Metacomet and Tagaset watched thier father dis-
                  appear into his Wetu.
                  "What can we do,Metacomet?"Tagaset asked,softly.
"We can only fight,my little brother! We can only
fight,"Metacomet answered with a voice that was
already laboring with grief and heavy burden.
Tagaset watched his brother walk down the narrow
path to the ocean. He knew his father was unwise
to ignore the warnings of Metacomet. He felt deep
inside that Metacomet was right. He knew also if
things turned out for the worse he would fellow
                  Metacomet,even to the death.
Tagaset watched the tide for a long time. Then as
the sun started to vanish to the west,he wondered
how the future would affect Abigail and himself. He
loved her so,his dear kittle friend. Suddenly he
felt a strong urge to be with her.
He ran down the path, along the shore, towards the
English settlement. He had to see her. He had to be
with her at this time more than ever before.-------

*  The Changing of The Tide"-----Synopsis of Chapter 2 - Marlene, Oct/29/2002 19:53:12 [-05 EST]

      Sonja,
I have 27 Chapters and that would be too long here.
So I'll just tell the story, elaborating on the love
stuff. Besides I hope you guys will buy it if I ever
      get it published. So----------------------------
      --In Chapter 2----
In the indentured servent quarters on the Lord
Folsom compound in New Plymouth,Abigail Cartright's
father died with concern for Abigail's well being
since she would have to fulfill his indenture to
Folsom, the acting governor of Plymouth Colony.
Folsom orders Abigail to his chambers. Her good
friend Annie Brady(Cook/maid) and the preacher,John
      Talbert go with her.
The disagreeable tyrant,Folsom, makes it clear that
he wants the 16 yr old girl for his sexual
      pleasures.
Back in the servents kitchen, Talbert and Annie try
to comfort Abigail and when they find Tagaset
there they leave after explaing things to him. They
      leave,allowing Tagaset to comfort Abigail----------
--------Tagaset raised Abigail to her feet. He
suddenly noticed that she had become a woman. He
marveled at this thought. It seemed like only yes-
terday that he and Abigail would run about for the
past ten years, playing in the woods and along the
shore of the great ocean without a care in the world.
-----he remembered when his closest friend,Sassamon
of the Nipmuck(AdAM BEACH)would come to Pautuxet
to visit him and Abigail would graciously welcome
him without any childish gealousy. Tagaset knew
Sassamon admired Abigail greatly for her beauty
and ability to accomplish all her endeavers. He
would never think of her as any one but a friend.
However,he had to admit to himself that he was very
happy when Sassamon had married early at the age
of 17.Now suddenly adulthood had taken over thier
lives and with it came a great danger for Abigail.
He took her into his arms and held her to him.
This seemed so right to Tagaset. He put his lips
to hers for the first time in this manner. He kissed
her gently and she returned the kiss in all
innocence. He then simply held her close to him.
"I will never let the white chief harm you
Abigail. If he ever did,I would kill him!" -------

*  Short Version of Chapter 3 &4 - Marlene, Oct/30/2002 20:01:22 [-05 EST]

A large gathering of many tribes came to Pokenoket
to hear what Massasoit,as the mighty Sagamore, had
to say about the growing white settlement. They were
both friend and foe. Also an Iroquoi from the
Mohawk named,Sharonk(Eric Sweig) was there by
invitation from Metacomet(Wes Studi) He said if the
whites ever cane into the Valey of The Mohawk,he
            personally would fight beside Metacomet.
John Talbert asked Massasoit for some way to protect
Abigail from Lord Folsom's evil intentions.
Sassamon(Adam Beach) offered to hide Abigail&Annie
in his village of Hassanamisco far to the East.
            Massasoit told Tagaset(Michael Greyeyes) and
Sassamon to go to the whiteman's New Plymouth and
get the women. He also agreed that if the people
wanted war than war it will be and his son
Metacomet would be thier war chief.--------John
Talbert could do nothing. He prayed for all the
            people,white and Indian.----And forTagaset,Abigail
            and Sassamon.-------------------------------------
-----Back at the Folsom compound,Lord Folsom was
drunk and was thinking only of Abigail and his lust
for her.--------The thunder was very loud and the
ocean was in turmoil as it hit the tall cliffs.
Heavy rain beat on the rooftop.------------------
Annie hide Abigail under a stairwell under the
storage loft when they heard Folsom outside. They
hoped John Talbert would return from his visit to
Boston.-----The acting Governor of The Plymouth
Colony staggered into the kitchen and grabbed Annie
by the arm.-----"Where is she,fat bitch? IF you
remain silent,I'll cut out that tongue of yours!--
---"No Lord Folsom,I will not betray that sweet
child!"-----Folsom punched Annie and kicked her
aside. He looked around and finally saw Abigail
hiding under the stairs.--"Igot you finally wench!"
Fosom threw Abigail onto the table and raped the
            virgin visciously.
No one had seen the dark shadows from the forest,
            moving steady towards the settlement.
The door burst open and Tagaset and Sassamon, both
wearing war paint, burst into the room with several
            Wampanoag warriors.
Tagaset saw Abigail on the table with her clothes
in shreds and the rapish cowering in the corner.
Tagaset jumped on Folsom and without hesitation,he
slit the throat with his long hunting knife.
He carried Abigail and Sassamon helped Annie and
they disappeared into the forest for a pre-arraiged
meeting with Metacomet and John Talbert. Amid war
chants, the Wampanoag warriors left Plymouth in
            in flames.
            Metacomet smiled,"Good work,Tagaset! Good work,all
of you.We have succeeded. Perhaps the English
will turn back now and return to thier own lands."
John Talbert shock his head with much sadness.
"I wish with all my heart this were true.Metacomet
feel it will not happen but you will have no choice
but to fight. They will hunt you down. They will
now start your much wanted war. You will now have
to fight them to the end!" He looked searchingly
            into the eyes of Metacomet.
Abigail felt Tagaset's strength as he held her
            tightly in his arms.

*  Continue---Chapter4 - Marlene, Oct/30/2002 20:18:02 [-05 EST]

"Then we will fight them to the end,my friend. If
Manitou wills it,we will be victorious." Metacomet
turned to Tagaset and Sassamon and said,"Little
Brother, take your Abigail and the good Annie to
Hassanamisco and hide them there among Sassamon's
people in the praying Indian town. Then return
quickly to the war camp. We must prepare for this
                  war!"
Metacomet didnot raid Plymouth any more but he set
the course for a long and devastating war by setting
fire to one settlement after the other.
John Talbert could do nothing. He watched from the
heights as the terrible fires and war cries of the
people could be heard amid the devastation of the
                  burning white settlements.

*  Marlene, you left Tagaset and Abigail in a clinch, how will we survive?... - Carol, Oct/30/2002 20:15:37 [-05 EST]

I thought it was cute that you cast the other people in the story with
who you picture in the part. So I guess we are all picturing ourselves
in the role of Abigail? I wondered where my dish pan hands and housemaids
knee came from.tee hee.Very entertaining so far.

*  Heh Carol! - Marlene, Oct/30/2002 20:28:22 [-05 EST]

I think you'd make a great Abigail. Those dish pan
hands and housemaid's knee would be worth it.
                  Right?
Thanks, I hope you continue to enjoy the story.

*  Marlene - Nellie, Oct/30/2002 21:28:41 [-05 EST]

                        l am enjoying this also.

*  Nellie and Carol - Marlene, Oct/31/2002 13:14:52 [-05 EST]

                              Thanks girls,
Next chapter etc. coming up tonight!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL! Here's a really short account
                                    of Chap.5&6----------------------------------------
Wm.Bradford arrived back as the governor of the
colonies. He impressed all and was glad to see his
long time friend,John Talbert. Talbert introduced
the governor to Massasoit and Myles Standish.------
-----"It is a pleasure to meet you Massasoit. I
                                    trust we can be friends?"----------------------
Massasoit responded,"I hope this will be true, sir."
Bradford then turned to Myles Standish.
                                    --"Myles,your record here is impressive."
At that Myles Standish saluted.----"I understand
gentlemen that I have come back into a heated
situation here. Folsom's murder must be avenged.
I regret I must hold you son,Tagaset accountable."
"Yes,I understand! Both my sons are fighting a war
against England. They are willing to give thier
lives to hold on to our lands."---------
-----Bradford asks if Massasoit will remain loyal
to the crown. Massasoit convinces him that he will
not go back on his word.-------Bradford believes
Massasoit and invites the Indian,Talbert & Standish
to share lauch with him much to the displeasure of
of the white people that came to greet Bradford.
Many believed the only answer to the Indian problem
was complet annialation in one way or another.
                                    Chapter 6-----------------------------------------
Captain Church and his men marched into the pray-
ing Indian town of Hassanamisco. This was the home
of Sassamon. His father,Agat(Graham Greene) was
Sagamore. The Nipmuck had hidden Abigail&Annie under
mud to thier faces and Abigail was told not to
look up for fear her blue eyes would be seen. The
two women were not discovered and Abigail& Agat
could see that Captain Church was deliberating
aiding them for some unknown reason.-------------
"The white women can not be found captain. Also
there is no sign of Sassamon nor Tagaset"--------
Whatever the reason Church had for aiding Abigail
Agat didnot care. He was content with the fact
that he had kept his promise to Tagaset to watch
                                    over his beloved Abigail.-----------------------
