it-hope he got lots of scenes.

           Michael/The Lost Child - Marlene, Nov/6/2000 05:16:00

I hope Michael has a few more scenes than he did in
"Race Against Time" and "Rough Riders" Of course the
scene in"Rough Riders" was so great when he gave the
speech that it sort of stays in the memory for
        always.
Well, 13 more days and we'll find out.

                Hallmark - Marnie, Nov/6/2000 21:12:18

The Hallmark website has a new article about Michael's upcoming movie, The Lost Child. It
has interesting quotes both from Michael and from Irene Bedard. You can click on the
Movies and Entertainment section of the Hallmark site, then on the Lost Child section. Here
is the entire article, though, to save you a search:

Native Americans Actors Welcome Roles Contemporary Characters a Welcome Change for
             Talented Cast.
Hallmark Hall of Fame's 206th production, "The Lost Child", features two strong Native
American actors: Irene Bedard, who portrays Grace and Michael Greyeyes, who plays her
husband, Eddie. Both Bedard and Greyeyes relished the opportunity to portray
contemporary Native Americans in the film.

"It's only recently that actors like us have been able to play contemporary roles," Bedard
says. "The Lost Child" is one of those rarities. I consider myself an Anupack and Cree --
but also a woman who lives in the year 2000! I honor my great traditions, but I also have a
pocket computer. Putting those two worlds together is one of the themes of this movie."

Greyeyes, who was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and is from the Cree nation, agrees. "This
film provides a great opportunity to de-stereotype 'the Indian,'" he says. "As an actor,
when you're presented with opportunities like this, you really like to take advantage of
them. Even with the wardrobe, we're trying to make it contemporary. We're staying away
from a 'cowboy' look, or a 'rez' [reservation] look. Because when you think about it, what
             exactly is a 'rez look'?

"I remember a couple of years ago I went to a big reservation, and took note specifically
of what people were wearing," he says. "The fact is, there was no difference between what
kids there were wearing and what kids are wearing anywhere else. Some people had long
hair; some had short hair. Some had blonde hair; some had dark hair. So that kind of
identity through your appearance is a thing of the past."

The movie carries a theme with which anyone can identify. "It's a universal story, in that
we're all on a quest for a sense of peace and a sense of self-identity," Bedard says. "Who
am I? What am I? Where do I come from?"
Greyeyes explains further: "This film questions identity, what part of your identity is
inherent and what part is learned. What choices do you make as to how you're going to live
your life? That to me is the most interesting part of the script. I relate very much to
Rebecca, the main character in the story. She's somebody who wants to embrace this
aspect of her past, of her culture, of her heritage, but at the same time she has another
life with other demands and obligations. How do you balance those? I think that's a crucial
question we face all the time--not just Indian people, but everybody."

The Lost Child premieres on CBS Sunday, November 19, 9-11 p.m. ET/PT."

                     Contemporary Rolls - Marlene, Nov/7/2000 08:49:34

Happy to learn Michael and Irene Beard will have
contemporary rolls as husband and wife(Grace and
                  Eddie) in "The Lost Child"
I think they were great acting together in "Crazy
Horse". They are both so very talented.
I think we'll all be anxious for Nov.19th.

           Untitled - Sharon, Nov/9/2000 06:24:30

Nefer, the lost child, is it a TV film.

What sort of role-

  Author: Nefer , Nov/7/2000 14:24:20

would you like to see Michael in? l know after
Crazy Horse and SWCH l adore him as the Indian of
the past- what with riding the horse at top speed
while shooting the bow and arrow. Beautiful!! and to
hear him speak the languages. etc .
Anyway l would also like to see him as an action
star- a kickass cop like Walker. How about a
   romantic adventure road comedy- PG-13.

           Rolls for Michael - Marlene, Nov/8/2000 00:25:54

Michael would be great in an action/hard hitting
roll. I can just imagine what a great hit "Race
Against Time" would have been with Eric Roberts and
Michael as buddies, bringing about good over evil.
As for a romantic comedy--Michael,I believe would do
a great job in any modern day tale of romance and
adventure (I have a particular one in mind)
The idea of Michael as a policeman is good. How
about Michael as a boarder patrol agent down Texas
way. I guess we just better hope Michael will be
cast in lots of rolls that he will enjoy working in.

SWCH

  Author: Jasmine, Nov/8/2000 00:38:30

Are there any upcoming dates for SWCH to be aired on TV?

           Re: SWCH - Nefer, Nov/9/2000 03:03:00

Keep an eye out on Lifetime tv- since they have it
l'm sure they will run it again. Check tv guide
and tv guide channel- also you can go to Lifetime
on net and check their programming grid.

New Part

   Hi all,
MG was recently in Saskatchewan, filming an episode of the new PBS series "MythQuest". This
13-part series is being filmed in Canada and Europe. It is tentatively scheduled to begin airing in the
fall of 2001. No word yet when MG's episode will air.
MG has this to say about it:
"It is a very cool show. The premise is about two teenagers, a brother and his sister, who enter into a
place called the AlterWorld to find their father who is trapped there. The kids travel through
time...to ancient Greece, to Nordic Viking time, to the plains of North America (that's my episode).
The episode I worked on is called "Red Wolf's Daughter." I filmed it in Regina, Saskatchewan again
with all my friends and colleagues from projects like Skipped Parts and Big Bear. It was great!!! The
weather started to get a little cold, but otherwise it was beautiful in Saskatchewan..."

Needless to say we'll all be waiting with bated breath to see this show, huh?!!!

Crazy Horse editing

  Author: Nefer

TNT did sloppy editing in Crazy Horse- did you notice that one scene showed Michael on his horse
riding towards the camera with that thing on his face. That should have come after-because he had not
been shot yet. Anyway 7 more days to The Lost Child!!

           Re: CH - Nefer, Nov/12/2000 22:42:13

That was the scene all right.
Love that scene where he paints that lightening bolt.

I've read about it in TV Guide but did not see his
name mentioned. Does he have a very big part?
   Thanks!

        Hi Tia,
Possibly ...the board server has been playing up and some messages always seem to vanish when
that happens. However, we did have to delete a few messages recently as per the board policy,
see "Ads & requests" second message from the bottom of the board. Usually we will e-mail
everyone if their message is in a thread that we have to delete but if you don't leave your e-mail
address we can't tell you privately when this happens. Your message may have been entirely
blameless but when the first message in a thread goes unfortunately the whole lot goes!!
Why are we twitchy about people asking for tapes etc? ...because it's copyright material and
fingers have been burned before. Swapping is fine ...lending is fine ...copying/buying is
wandering into infringement! It's also why you'll see replies like "Contact me off-line" if
someone can help in this area. This is a very public forum after all!
Hope you understand we are looking after everyone's best interests(and covering our own butts!
        *g*)

Thanks for letting me know Marnie. I thought it might be
something like that..had problems a couple of times recently
accessing the board. Aren't servers fun?

With respect to requests for tapes, etc., I've always said
that if CBS ever decided to release SWCH, they'd make a
fortune. For the life of me, I don't understand why they
             won't.

             Thanks

                CH video amazon - Nefer, Nov/15/2000 21:38:38

l went there (amazon)a few days ago and also today,
and under the reviews it says in italics 'This text

of this title! l was told here in town at one of
the video stores that it was out of print. at my

                 Crazy Horse from Amazon.com - Tia, Nov/16/2000 01:00:18

                  Hi Nefer,

I just purchased a copy from Amazon.com. They seemed to
have problems obtaining a copy because the delivery was
                  delayed for awhile.

It is expensive, but worth every penny.

                  Tia

                      Amazon Purchase - Marlene, Nov/17/2000 05:54:51

                       Tia
I'm glad you're happy with expensive" Crazy Horse"
from Amazon. I agree it is worth every penny. I
hope you get to record "The Lost Child" Sunday the
                       19th. on Hallmark.
                       Marlene

                           Amazon Prices - Tia, Nov/17/2000 13:48:13

I couldn't be happier with Crazy Horse and have a new tape
all set to be used to tape Lost Child.

It's interesting when ordering from Amazon the different
prices of videos. Most older films are in the $14.00
range, but there are a few, like Crazy Horse, that are
still up around the $50.00 level. The problem for Canadian fans is that
                            they
have to pay the exchange rate. So for a film like Crazy
Horse listed at approximately $49.50, the exchange rate
pushes the cost up to the $70.00 level.

                            Tia

           NYTimes Review - Marnie, Nov/18/2000 02:12:06
       Homepage: MGFans

        Hi all,
here's a review of "The Lost Child" that you may enjoy ...at least it seems quite encouraging!!

"With more dot-coms dropping into the dustbin every day, it's nice to get an occasional reminder
that the Internet isn't completely useless, and "The Lost Child," Sunday's movie on CBS,
provides one. As it has for many others, the Internet lets Rebecca, the centerpiece of this tale,
find someone with whom she had lost touch. The someone is herself: she grew up in a Jewish
household on the East Coast but learns through a Web posting that she is a Navajo and has an
extended family in Arizona. The premise might sound improbable except that "The Lost Child" is
inspired by a true story, the autobiography "Looking for Lost Bird," written by Yvette
Melanson with Claire Safran. In fact, from snippets of dialogue in the film we learn that stealing
and selling Indian children was not uncommon just after World War II. But "The Lost Child" is
not a documentary, and anyone wanting to know more about this tantalizing subject will have to
look elsewhere. So will anyone craving one of those adoptee-reunion tales that end withthe
separated family members' finally meeting and sharing a joyous hug. The reunion is just the
beginning of this story, which tells what happens when Rebecca, nicely played by Mercedes
Ruehl, tries to return to her Navajo roots and drag her skeptical family with her. Karen Arthur,
the director, and Sally Beth Robinson, who wrote the teleplay (taking considerable latitude with
Ms. Melanson's book),try to walk a precarious line between compelling story and sentimental
mush, with only partial success. The dialogue frequently veers toward the maudlin with phrases
that ring as if they were plucked from a "1,000 lines you can use in your screenplay" book.
("When my mother died, I couldn't cry." "I don't know why I walk the path I walk; I only know
I have to.") Drippy music adds to the problem. Yet there are intelligent decisions in evidence as
        well. One was to make Rebecca's Jewish upbringing a minor factor once she reaches Navajo land;
there are no silly scenes of her trying to teach the Indians to braid a nice
        hallah.
Another was to take an oblique, understated approach to the well-known problems of American
Indian life, like alcoholism and unemployment. It would have been easy to have a stereotypical
Indian drunk stagger through a few frames. Instead there is a quick, telling scene between Jack
(Jamey Sheridan), Rebecca's very white husband, and Eddie (Michael Greyeyes), her newfound
brother-in-law. Jack, who was a bartender in his younger days, is embarrassed because he has
failed to recognize Eddie even though they have already met once. "Sorry," Jack says, "I'm
lousy with faces; must be getting old, I guess. I used to remember everybody's name,
everybody's face, everybody's drink." His look as he stops himself short, realizing his gaffe,
and the glare that Mr. Greyeyes gives him say all that needs to be said.
It's too bad that such moments of honesty are matched by ones not as credible. Rebecca's
father (Ned Romero) and aunt (Tantoo Cardinal) are pleasant to listen to at first, but after a
while it's like a two-hour session with Yoda; they speak in nonstop aphorisms that surely
misrepresent the way older American Indians actually communicate. Similarly, although the film
bravely dashes Rebecca's idyllic initial impressions of Indian life Navajo, it turns out, have
their own racist and sexist streaks in the end a cute horse makes everyone forget all their
        troubles.
Still, for those with a high tolerance for sentiment, "The Lost Child" has enough rewards to be
worth the trip, not the least of which is the chance to watch American Indian actors in
substantive roles. It's an educational exercise as well, assuming that the depiction of Navajo life
is somewhat accurate. It's even humorous at times: "Mom," Rebecca's elder daughter (Julia
McIlvaine)complains after being dragged out of bed to experience a sunrise,"we are only half
Navajo, and the white half needs more sleep."
In fact, an enterprising network executive could do worse than to jettison some of the junk on
the current prime-time schedule and turn this into a series. When "The Lost Child" is over,
viewers are left thinking it would be interesting to check in on Rebecca and family at some
future date to see how their grand experiment is progressing."

        THE LOST CHILD

written by Sally Beth Robinson and based on the book "Looking for
Lost Bird" by Yvette Melanson with Claire Safran; directed by Karen
Arthur; Richard Welsh, executive producer; Brent Shields,
co-executive producer; Tom Neuwirth, director of photography; music
        by Mark McKenzie.

            Too Few Scenes - Jeri, Nov/20/2000 14:10:42

I agree Marnie, it was disappointing. The shots that Michael appeared in went by
way too fast. Right from the opening credits, as soon as I saw where Michael's
name appeared, I figured we wouldn't be seeing all that much of him. He looked
great though when we did get to see him and I especially enjoyed the brief
glimpses we got of him dancing in full costume.

How did you feel about the program itself? I thought it was well done and very
        thought provoking.

        ..Jeri

                Michael's scenes - Nefer, Nov/20/2000 17:21:58

l too was disappointed. l mean l was afraid if l
blinked an eye l'd miss him. So l was super focused.
He actually rode a horse-in the background. He sure
gave that guy the look at the door. But what was the
deal about the animals?? he giving out
a subliminal reference to his allergies?!!LOL
It was kinda sweet to see him doing the dishes.
Wish l had a good slo-motion- mine goes too slow.
l am so hoping for a tv series lead role for him.
Just think-- we could see Michael every week.
(Besides watching our SWCH)l'm so happy l have it.
Do we have a sign off slogan for Michael??
all l can think of is--"Michael Rules!!"Any better
             ideas??

Need more MG? *g* The Hallmark video of "Lost Child" that is for sale includes a
'making of' segment at the end. MG has three small interviews in it...along with
interviews of ooh,...some other actors!! LOL
                  Ave MG,
                  Marnie:)

                          Hallmark Video - Marlene, Nov/21/2000 01:36:29

Thanks Marnie for the info. I sure intend to get in
on buying the video. Maybe Michael's interviews will
makeup for his too few scenes.

                I Agree! - Marlene, Nov/21/2000 01:28:29

I thought the story was great and the actors and
actresses did a fine job. I would have really liked
it if the camera had zoomed back and forth so we
could have seen more of Michael's dancing. But what
we did get to see was just great.
I love to watch Irene and Michael act together in
movies. I hope they get more roles together in the
             future.

        "last minute changes"
The last time, though, it WAS listed. Even though
l have taped it l still would watch. and maybe
tape it again to do better editing of the
        comercials.

        Hi,

For two weeks I've looked forward to seeing/taping
Stolen Women: Captured Hearts, thinking it is on
Lifetime, but the Lifetime Movie Network is not even
offered here in Sarasota Florida. Does anyone get this
cable channel. Is there any way I can get someone to
tape it for me, I'd gladly pay expenses.

        Thanks,

              Oh good - Nefer, Nov/29/2000 02:34:29

They must have changed their format because they
don't show movies after 10 on week nights that
l notice. l had already sent "watch it" warnings
        to a few people.
My screen just flipped over and said Message has

Excuse me if it did post.

Til the End of Time

  Author: Nellie, Dec/10/2000 19:26:59

l went to check over on Native Celebs New Films site
and according to it, Michael's film is going ahead,
after what they call 'a false start'. l hope it
will be a nice big role. Since l know nothing about
Georgia O'Keefe. There is a lot to be read about
her on net. l think she moved to New Mexico in her
   later years.

Til the End of Time - Inti, Dec/13/2000 12:57:49

        Hi, Nellie,
According to the Greyeyes Official Site (Current page):
"NOTE: Michael had been invited to play a supporting
role in a new film called "Till the End of Time"
dealing with the life of famed artist Georgia
O'Keeffe. The film was to star Linda Fiorentino
and Ben Kingsley and to begin filming this past
July 2000. Michael tells us he was disappointed
that the film was halted due to unspecified
        production problems. If further information
comes in, we will post it here."

www.upcomingmovies.com mentioned that the film may
possibly still be made, but with a different
        cast and crew.

        on Feb.10th at 2 p.m. ET ,

message on the lifetime movie message board. She
said Lifetime had e-mail her that info, but she
didn't know if it was going to be on the Lifetime
movie network or on Lifetime t.v. I don't get the
        movie station either.
I e-mailed Lifetime today and asked them but I don't
if they will write me back.
I'm counting down the days! Get the vcr's ready!

             little shell,
I sure hope SWCH will be again on Feb 10th. I sure
did love that picture. Of course we all enjoyed the
great work Michael and Janine did in the film, but I
also enjoyed very much Dennis Weaver,Rodney Grant
and the guy, (Hank in Dr. Quinn,Medicine Woman)that
played Custer and all the fine cast of SWCH.
             Thanks again for the info.

Just may have to now! Are you sure Marnie:)? Oh well
I guess that means it won't also be on the regular
                  liftime channel that day...?
I agree Marlene, the whole cast is good.

Skipped Parts *sob*

  Author: Marnie , Dec/22/2000 16:20:54

Bad news about Skipped Part....seems Lions Gate Films which bought Trimark Pictures have put it on
hold indefinitely again. I wonder if there's anything we can do to encourage them to release it. We can
always write them I suppose. Oh well, bah humbug!
   Marnie:(

SKIPPED PARTS ON HOLD - Marlene, Dec/22/2000 23:22:57

Dog Gone It,Marnie, that sure is bad news. I know I'm
just one of many to be so dissapointed.
Maybe we can write to this Trimark Pictures and tell
them about how we are all so anxious for Michael's
picture. There's always power in numbers!
        So here's hoping! Thanks Marnie.

                Give it a try. - Marnie, Dec/23/2000 18:41:26

             Hi Marlene,
It might be an idea to drop them a line ....after all it did seem to work with Buffalo
             Tracks!!LOL
I'll send off an e-mail saying I'd l-o-o-ove to see this picture, after all I've been waiting
ever so impatiently for the past year!!!
             Here's an address
             feedback@trimarkpictures.com
for anyone who wants to send their requests, too!
             Marnie :)
PS I suggest putting "Skipped Parts" in the subject box as I'm sure they get all sorts of
             mail.
PPS Sonja ...if it gets released in SA first I shall be really ticked off!;P

                     Also - Marnie, Dec/23/2000 18:54:51

It's been suggested we write snail mail too ...buy postcards, have friends fill some
out... to show there is a market for the film. Hey, I know this has worked for many TV
series so why not a film release. The address to send the mail to is
                  Lions Gate Films
                  561 Broadway
                  New York, NY
                  (212) 966-4670

You never know, it might be all the encouragement they need ...plus, it can only help!!
                  Marnie

                       Snails Unite! - Nellie, Dec/24/2000 22:34:55

l've discovered that TPTB (The Powers That Be)
pay more attention to snail mail than e-mail.
Example: An actor was let go from a soap. Fans
started sending those letters and he was re-hired.
So let's all get to the mailbox, and get the film
back on it's way to us fans.
BTW, Marnie, do you have the Zipcode on that addy?
                       Nellie

                               Zip.... - Marnie, Dec/24/2000 23:11:04

                            Hi Nellie,
The one I came up with is NY 10012-3918. (Do US post-codes have that
many numbers?....I guess NY is pretty big so it needs more than any place
                            else!!LOL)
                            Marnie:)

                                    Snail Mail/Shipped Parts - Marlene, Dec/25/2000 04:42:45

My request letter will soon be in the mail. Thanks
                                 for the zip code.
COME ON EVERYBODY LETS GET THOSE LETTERS ON THE
                                 WAY!
                                 Marlene

                                 Re: Zip - Nellie, Dec/25/2000 16:59:46

                                 Thanx.
Yes that is the normal number although l rarely use
the last 4. l live in not a very large town and
l also have the extra 4. It's an all over thing.

  Buffalo Tracks

  Author: Marnie , Dec/23/2000 18:22:51

   Hi all,
Just had to let you all know what Evan Adams said about MG in reference to his appearance next
   week.....
"Guests next week include the incredibly sexy Michael Greyeyes...I say incredibly sexy because we
got so many e-mails saying 'can we have this babe on?'..."
So, thanks to all who sent e-mail ...and SEE...they do take notice!!*g*
   Marnie :)
PS Own up ....who was it called MG a 'babe'!!!!? :)

                 MG on Buffalo Tracks (12/29) - Jeri, Dec/29/2000 20:14:33

        Hi Marnie,

I don't know what happened, but there was no segment with Michael
on the 2:00 p.m. airing today of Buffalo Tracks, nor did the host,
Evan mention Michael being on next week. I'm wondering if the
8:00 p.m. boardcast of the show tonight will be the same as the
one at 2:00? I'll watch again at 8:00 and keep my fingers crossed.

        ..Jeri

                repeat - Marnie, Dec/29/2000 23:04:38

             Hi Jeri,
I know ...it was a darned repeat!!! I don't know whether someone goofed up and they stuck
in the wrong tape or whether they had some other problem. Fingers crossed that they show
it tonight ...and if not I guess we'll just have to watch every week till he DOES show up
             (perhaps it's all a ratings ploy!!heheh)
             Marnie :)

                     **SNIF** Same Show - Jeri, Dec/30/2000 01:54:24

I was afraid of that. The same show that aired at 2:00 was
shown again at 8:00 p.m. I guess we'll just have to keep watching
each Friday and hope that somewhere along the line, they show the
interview with Michael. Just out of curiosity, what did you think
of the dancer, Gerry Longboat? Kinda cute...strange dance though!

                  ..Jeri

                       Longboat adrift? - Marnie, Dec/31/2000 03:43:35

                       Hi Jeri,
I also thought he was very cute ...certainly fit, and a fine dancer ...however I
spent most of the time worrying that his ....um...sheet was going to come adrift.
(I'm not sure if I was disappointed or relieved that nothing untoward happened,
                       teehee!)
As for BT last time they showed repeats they ran about four in a row ...I don't
think I can hold out that long!!
                       Marnie:(

                            Sent Email - Jeri, Jan/1/2001 15:28:47

                            Hi Marnie,

LOL..yes, that was quite the costume! With regard to Buffalo
Tracks, I sent them an email asking when Michael's interview
will be aired. If I get a response, I'll post it here.

                            ..Jeri

downloaded as a screensaver. I urge you to post on that
website's guestbook, saying that it is wrong to use
copyrighted material without permission and asking them
to remove it. At the very least, they owe her an apology.

           Webshots submits! - Marnie, Jan/13/2001 06:29:48

Thanks for the help everyone. I've heard from Webshots and they are going to remove the
"Tribute" from their pages. Thanks to all who signed the book and let them know what they
thought. The worst thing was if I hadn't done anything about it they could claim copyright title
to it and do what the heck they wanted with it.
So thanks again, hey, we won one!!

up-dated it's info since the last time "Skipped Parts" release was moved back. Guess it's up to
us to have it released!! LOL
        Marnie:)

             Let's Try Again! - Marlene, Jan/14/2001 06:30:45

Maybe if we all go back to square one, write another
letter to Lions Gate and get in on the website to
place requests. If everyone tried again------MAYBE!!
             We can just hope!
             Marlene

             Skipped Parts/Video - Marlene, Jan/23/2001 07:05:13

Yes,that did sound like we will be able to enjoy
Michael as "Hank" in "Skipped---" one way or the
other. I think our letters and E Mails had some
             success.Don't you?

Buffalo Tracks

  Author: Marnie , Jan/19/2001 05:00:54

Hi all, I hear from the Buffalo Tracks forum that MG's episode will be shown now on May 26th.
Unfortunately they also seem to think it was already shown on the 30th of December!!!!! Hey, I
watched the darn thing three times (twice on the 29th and once e-a--a-rly on the 30th) ...and it was
the same repeat all three times! (Unless they changed the tape after I switched off!!LOL) I have told
them that they actually showed a repeat.. Looks like someone was just slapping the tape in the machine
and didn't realize it was the wrong one! Sigh,
   Marnie:(

           more info - Marnie, Jan/19/2001 14:42:41

Heard from someone at AV who is going to check with the APTN scheduling manager. So with any
luck MG will be on sooner rather than later.
Also more good news ....For the folks in the States the Aboriginal Voices website is going to
rev-up some clips of the shows for them on site at aboriginalvoices.com. So,everyone will be able
to get a taste of BT soon, ....in SA too. Sonja!! LOL They should be streaming jump-fm 106.5...the
best in world aboriginal music within a couple of months, too.

          Related to Michael! - Marlene, Jan/22/2001 23:32:11

That's great that you are related to Michael,Trey.
You must be very proud. Michael is such a fine
person and he has so much talent. I hope he might
get a series or another staring role like in "Crazy
Horse" As to the people getting noticed as human
beings----yes it is about time. Hope Michael gets
a lot more modern day roles. I just enjoy it so much
when Michael and Adam Beach work together.

Reservation Blues?

  Author: Nellie, Jan/24/2001 04:38:18

l was just over on Sherman Alexie's site and
apparantely the movie "Reservation Blues" will
be done with Search Party Films. They are
getting together at Sundance festival this week.
So l read a few months ago Sherman wanted the original
cast. l hope that includes Michael, because he'll
have a much bigger part than what he had in
   "Smoke Signals"
l am wondering if Michael is there.

         Original cast- Nellie, Jan/24/2001 17:12:03

sorry l left out a few words. l meant the original
cast of Smoke Signals. (Never post if you're too

  Homepage: Voting booth

   Are we all voting, folks????

The StudiGroup whizzed past us a week ago, and have widened the gap so I doubt we'll ever regain
fourth place!! And if we don't watch it Branscomb will be licking at our heels soon!!

   Solution?

Get on over to the voting booth and log your vote....EVERY DAY!! Don't miss out. Get your friends to
register and vote every day too!

(If you are new to this....click on the "Voting booth" link above this message....follow the instructions
to register, and vote every 24 hours!)

Here's a good wet-noodle lashing for everyone who has been shirking on their 'voting-detail'!!

   ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~! *grin*

           Voting Booth - Marlene, Jan/26/2001 06:14:04

Everytime I try to vote, the voting booth rejects my
EMail address. Has anyone else experienced trouble
        voting? Any advice on this?

                Can't vote!! - Sonja, Jan/27/2001 06:04:22
            Homepage: Voting booth

Hmmmmm....not sure if I can help, bit I did have a similar problem after we had a disk
crash and had to reload my computer here at home.
Egroups, and anything I'd had to 'register' for, showed I was NOT registered, but when I
tried to re-register, the site told me I was ALREADY registered, yet I couldn't get in! I
eventually sent emails to the site-owners asking for help, and it got sorted out.

Now the site owners at the voting booth are at freevote.com so got to the homepage and
find some contact email addy for tech probs, and email them with your difficulty. It often
takes a few days for them to get back to you, so just be patient.......BUT....do get it sorted
out 'cos MG needs your votes!! *smile*

             Good luck!!
PS: Pls note, Annie of Native Celebs does not own the Freevote site and cannot help you
with tech difficulties there. So don't email her direct.

Read what extra wrote about being in Skipped

  Author: Nellie, Jan/29/2001 03:43:32

In case someone hasn't read it

   http://www.thoughtline.com/renfro/skipped.html

she mentions Michael in the 9th paragraph.

           Thanks Nellie! - Jeri, Jan/30/2001 16:56:22

Thanks for pointing us to the article. I know only too well, what it's
like for an extra in a movie or TV. I spent 2 very boring days watching my
daughter and some friends as extras in a TV show some years back. The process is very
long and drawn out and scenes are shot numerous times. It is interesting though, but I
was surprised that the author of the article said that the extras were volunteers.
My daughter and her friends were paid for their time. I think it was something
like $50 a day, but for 15 yr olds, that's not bad. I also have an Aunt who is
a professional extra (strange huh) who's been in quite a few movies filmed here
in Toronto, but she says 9 times out of 10, she ends up on the cutting room
        floor..LOL!

As for the brief mention of Michael...I can't imagine anything more uncomfortable
that a muddy rodeo arena and being covered in the stuff..yuk!

        Thanks again Nellie!

        ..Jeri
