okay and we spent day together. thus l missed the
chat-besides our Calif time for chat is noon and

The sea was tranquil and the sun was warm with a
gentle breeze that quietly made the flags wave on
the tree ships.
Suddenly a boom from the canons of the Diego awoke
the sleeping crew. The seamen started running about
the decks calling to the crews on the other two
ships.
Zan and The Wolf,with swords drawn,were calling
orders and looking for Michael on deck. He was
calling to Sonja and Manuela to "Stay Below"
He vaulted the stairs and stood,also with sword
drawn,beside the captains of The Wee Scottie and
The Lone Wolf.
"No time to go to our ships Zan! Stand fast! If
they wanted to do away with us, we'd all be at
the bottom of the ocean right now! Stand fast until
we find out what this son of Satan wants!'
"So it is Don Sabastian himself! Maybe he has Ioan
and Paco aboard. Looks like a slave ship to me!" The
Wolf said, observing the sneering Spanish captain
who was less than a half mile away and closing fast.
"It's the Don alright! Why do you think he hasn't
tried to blast us yet,Michael?" Zan said turning to
the High Greylander.
"We're about to find out girls!"
Don Sabastian saluted the three captains and took
the big horn to his mouth.
"Ah! This couldn't be better. Zan and the Wolf,
my business is with you. Turn over The High
Greylander and I shall allow you and your crews to
go in peace. Don't hand him over and you'll all meet
a fate worse than death!"
"I take it you mean slavery,Don de El Toro KAKA!
(translate this anyway you wish)" The Wolf shouted.
"I take this as a NO! Prepare for battle you
fools! Is he worth that much to you?"
"Is he worth that much to you!--I do believe the
man's daft!" Zan said to herself and then added
a few chose words.
They watched the Spanish Galleon drift about a mile
off. Michael turned to Zan and smiled.
"Well girls,here we go again! Wolf,we better get
on board our own ships. Goodluck to us all! Keep
Sonja and Manuela below at all times. God be with us
mates!" Michael saluted and swung over to his ship
on the line that was thown him by his second in
command. Wolf watched her idol and tried to catch
the rope trown to her by her crew mate. She
barely made it to her command deck.
"By God mates,I'm getting to old for all
this hero stuff! Well just don't stand about mates!
Prepare for battle!"

I Thought Zan Would Be Here By Now with Trocks!

Well Anyway---------------to Continue-----------
Four other ships were positioned for boarding The
Lone Wolf and The Wee Scottie. Don Sabasian's men
seemed to be everywhere. The sound of steel swords
clashing was mixed with the sounds of men getting
heads slit open.
Michael removed the smart red silk shirt and tied
his hair back with a red bandana so the rope burn
would be plainly visible. The Don darted forward with
a couple of fancy steps and waived his sword back
and forth. Michael stood completely still with his
dark eyes following every move of his opposition.
Suddenly the Spaniard made his attack and Michael
came back with everything he had. He was aware that
the superior swordmanship of the Don might prove to
be his finish! The sweat glitered on Michael's chest!
Meanwhile Scotty Bry and ten members of Zan's crew
had boarded The Diablo and were fighting hard with
the Don's crew. Scotty made his way below and there
he saw men shacked hand and foot, without water and
hollowed eyed. AH! Here was Ioan and Paco!
Scotty found the head ion lock and smashed it open.
He ran the chains along the prisioners leg irons,
fleeing them.
"Ioan,do you still have the strange herb from
Wales that may take The Time Warp from Michael and
Paco?"
"Yes, they failed to look in my boot. I have
it concealed in the heel. Thank God they left us our
boots since we were the last to be taken."
"Paco! Do you feel well enough to fight?"
The long haired super soccer star smiled and took
a knife from the belt of a dead guard.
"Let's go,Amigo! Ioan and I will not miss this
fight! Let's go!"
Meanwhile Michael was being slashed on the shoulder
by the Don's blade. The Don laughed wildly and
prepared to run the downed Michael through the
heart. Paco went into action! He noticed a cannon
cover had broken off and rolled along the deck.
Paco positioned the round cover just right and sent
it with all his might into the chest of tha Don.
The Don fell forward and died. Paco has saved The
High Greylander. Ioan went over and helped Michael
to his feet. The two sets of eyes that had been
peering from the women's cabin on The Wee Scottie
were now filled with happiness.
The fight continued until the second in command on
The Diego saw that the Don was dead. At this he
ordered all to cease and he called from his
command deck.
"Michael of Neer and you Wolf and Zan I wish
to stop this blood shed. You are all free to go.
And take the slaves. I never did like serving on a
slave ship anyway. Look we would have been finished
anyway. Look to the west! There sits the royal navy
of Neer. We will pay our respects to your King,
Michael and then be on our way."
All activity did stop and after a while the three
captains, their crews and the ladies were presented
to The King of Neer on deck of his flagship,The
Tabor.

I even saved the stale trocks, that I was saving for Zan.
Perhaps you could use them as ammunition when that gets low.
I'm getting a little sea sick, any chance of putting into
port for a little R&R? I think I spotted an island off in the
distance from the crow's nest, or maybe I should say the old
crow's nest.Hee hee!

"Land Ho!!!!!"
All on board his Highness's ship look about. Sure
enough it's Cliff Haven, Sonja's home.
"Your Highness,it would give me great pleasure
if we all go to my home for the feasting and
relaxing!" Sonja suggests.
The King of Neer looks towards the land and smiles.
"That would be most welcome,Sonja! We will
feast at
Cliff Haven as no one has ever feasted before.
Michael,Prince of Neer,what say you?"
Michael grins. He was hoping to see Cliff Haven
again before returning to Future Time.
"That would be wonderful your Highness!"
"Fine! Let's make ready!"
The Tabor,The Lone Wolf and The Wee Scottie finally
docked at Cliff Haven and Sonja immediately went
about giving orders to her staff and cooks at the
beautiful
manor house that was her home.

The day was perfect and the feast was grand. Plenty
of trocks and Greyeyes tea and even a bit of grog.
Dishes of lobster,clams and shrimp were prepared in
the most fabulous manner. Music was never missing.
This kept a handsome smile on Michael's face because
he loved music so. He sat beside the king and was
not surprised when his highness turned to him.
"Michael,Prince of Neer,I would give you my
kingdom if you would only stay. It will be lonely
without you,my beloved adopted son"
"I wish I could stay but I do not belong in
your time. I must return to my place in time. I
hope you understand!"
"Yes,I understand,Michael. Ioan can not guarantee
the herbs will work. But it is worth a try. Both
you and Paco are willing to take that chance."
The king seemed sad so Michael decided to liven up
the party.
"I feel like dancing my dear friends! I do not
have my POW WOW regalia here but I do have Wolf.
Drummer,please turn over your drums to Wolf."
Michael took off his high leather boots and soon he
was graefully twisting and turning to the beat of
the drum and the ooows and aaahs of his friends.
"Well done,Michael! Well done!" the king praised.
"Now I would like to dance the friendship dance
with my friends. Wolf, show them the steps as I will
also. Drummer,can you strike a steady beat?"
Soon all joined Michael in the happy dance and
Michael showered all with his handsome smile.
After the dance,Paco saw Manuela crying and went to
her.
"Paco,you said we would marry!"
"Yes,but that was before Ioan told me about the
herbs from Wales. Please don't cry,Manuela. I do
not belong here in your time. I must return to my
time in the future.
Oh,my Corazon,if I could take you with me I would.
But I can not. But here is Ioan. I will leave in
his safe keeping my dearest Manuela. Will you
care for her,Ioan?"
"I will,Paco,for all the rest of my life. If she
will have me!"
Manuela smiled sadly and agreed.
Michael heard Zan and the Wolf raising their
voices and went to them to listen.
"Wolf,for the love of Heaven,stop that
blubbering. You look like a crying school girl
instead of the captain of The Lone Wolf."
"Ahy! But that's a tear I see in your own eye,
Zan!"
"Ahy! I won't deny it! 'tis a tear!"
Michael smiled and opened his arms to the two.
"Come here my little captains! I owe you two my
life. You will always be in my heart!"
Michael hugged them and showered them with a
handsome smie.
Sonja had gone to the great stone wall that ran
along the ocean front with the steep cliffs dropping
to the sea below. Michael approached her.
"I use to listen to the sea hitting the cliffs
when you cared for me here until I was well.
Thankyou for that caring,Sonja! What will you do
now?"
"Oh,I have told Zan I will not sail with her
anymore. I will remain at Cliff Haven and write my
memoirs!" Sonja smiled sadly.
"Will I be in your writings?"
"Yes,surely you know I shall miss you terribly!
I do understand that you must return to your own
time and to that girl who loves you!"
"Sonja, I--I--" Michael searched for words.
"Michael,I look into your eyes and see the depth
of your very soul.I can no longer deny this feeling
that stirs within my heart! AH! enough---I will say
no more! Don't forget us!"
"I could sooner forget to breath!"
Michael frowned at his own words.
"What is it Michael?"
"My words--I have spoken them before somewhere!
But somehow I didn't really mean them like I do now"
Michael took Sonja's hands into his and kissed them.
Then without another word,he walked straight toward
Paco and Ioan.
"Michael,drink the herbs! Where were you when
you traveled into the time warp?"
"I was walking to class at Kent State. There was
the strong wind and I was here and I had my hair
long again" Michael put the goblet to his lips.
"You will continue your walk to class as if only
a minute had passed. And you Paco,where were you?"
"I was boarding a plane for a match in Bolivia.
The strange strong wind blew my hair wildly and I
was here!"
"Drink the herbs,Paco! You will continue your
walk to the plane but there will be no wind and your
long hair will show no sign of diserray."
The herbs from Wales did work for Michael and Paco.
Somehow they traveled through time warp to their own
time and continued their lives. But somehow when
they look at the ocean they remember another time
and another place and they close their eyes and
smile,happy in the fact that they were once there!
THE END

I'm glad you liked the story. I've been wondering
why Zan didn't get in on it. But I guess she's still
working on that thesis of hers.TEE HEE!
Yes,I loved Michael's line in "Crazy Horse"(I could
sooner forget to breath) I also loved the line Wes
Studi said as Red Cloud. Carol reminded us of it.
Wes was so dramatic when he said(We all had our
reasons and now it's too late) and he walks away.
As far as another story goes---what would you
suggest,Tala?
Maybe a Zorro type or what do you think?

did a pretty good job of throwing those cops around
in DMO. l like the way Seagal breaks their arms.

who is an Aikido instructor, and then get a series
The New Texas Rangers. If Chuck Norris would go
for that.
l like Aikido, l started taking class but couldn't
afford to stay on.

Race Agaist Time------JOHNNY'S NOT DEAD!

Well we all know that Jim Gabriel signed the
agreement with LifeCorps so he could get the money
for the expensive vaccine that would save his little
boy,Bobby. But when he goes to the hospital,Bobby's
gone and Gabriel is told that he died. Jim gives the
money back to LifeCorps but finds he must still
forfill his contract.
Gabriel is with his best friend,Johnny Black Eagle.
They try to drown the grief with whisky.
A knock is heard at the door and when Johnny opens
it,two of Burke's thugs push Johnny inside. Gabriel
jumps up from his chair.
Johnny uses his knowledge of martial arts on the
thugs and yells to Gabriel.
"Jim, run--run!"
Gabriel hesitates for a moment and looks up into
the cold eyes of Burke.
"You-Gabriel! your run is over!"
Burke then fires two shots into Johnny who falls to
the floor."What a shame-your Indian friend is dead!"
Gabriel,thinking Burke has killed Johnny,runs out
into the crouded street. He is unaware that the
tracking device was implanted in his neck. He is
also unaware that Johnny lays on the floor,badly
wounded but not dead!
A big black limousine was parked in the alley behind
Mercy Hospital while Johnny was given emergency
treatment to remove the two bullets. He was then
taken to his room and put on a monitor with and a
tube in his arm.
Johnny opened his eyes just as Bobby sneaked into
the room and hurried to the bedside.
"Uncle Johnny! Uncle Johnny,please wake up!"
"Bobby you're OK! You're alive!"
Johnny tried to get up but his head fell back on
the pillow.
"Uncle Johnny,they're going to take me someplace
in a big car! I heard them calling your name on
the nurse's radio and I came to the room that they
mentioned."
"Good boy! I've got to get out of this bed!"
"Bobby,you must not bother the other patients.
Come now, let your friend sleep!"the nurse advised,
taking hold of the boy.
No-wait!" Johnny struggled to get up but by the
time he was able to reach the stairs where they had
taken Bobby,the big limousine was just pulling away.

(For those of you who have been unable to see Race For Time,
Lifecorps is an organization that gives 300,000 to Jim Gabriel in
exchange for his body. The debt is to be called in after one year.
At the end of one year Lifecorps can do whatever they want
with it. Mainly Lifecorp is in the business of harvesting, and
selling off body parts. The reason Jim does this is because his son has
a virus, which by the way, Lifecorps has the vaccine for.)
Johnny realizes that he must find Gabriel before Lifecorps,
or else!!!!Johnny rips off the bandage holding the needle
into his arm and looks around. He can not run any where
with only a hospital gown on. Johnny finds the custodian's
closet and dons one of the jumpsuits, shoes, and cap. Pushing
a broom down the corridor he makes his escape. Johnny decides
to enlist his uncle's help in finding Bobby and Gabriel.

You're right Carol,there may be lots who didn't
catch Race Agaist time on TV!
So Johnny escaps from the hospital, dressed as a
janitor and pushing a broom(I'm sure he used the
broom for support--mending bullet holes you know!)
I like the bit about him enlisting the help of his
uncle in finding Gabriel and Bobby! While you're
developing this I'll go on with(IN THE MEANTIME!)
Meanwhile, across town,Gabriel goes into a crowded
night spot and is approuched by a blond girl named
Alex, who happens to be a bounty hunter looking for
him.
Outside,they are confronted with other bounty
hunters who are quickly put down by Alex's expert
Karate moves. Alex,who once worked for LifeCorps,
figures out that Jim is carrying a transmitter in
his neck, that was implanted during his evaluation
at LifeCorps. During conversation he learns Alex
has a softer part of her soul when she wants to pray
for Bobby.
"Well that takes care of the LifeCorps bracelet!"
Alex used lazer to remove the thing. She continues,
"I bet they got a transmitter implanted also!"
"They gave me a vitamin shot!"
"Great! That was it! Now they can track you! We got to
to get rid of it but it could be dangerous. We got
to get hold of a doctor!"
"Outstanding-My son is dead! My best friend,Johnny
Black Eagle was killed by Burke and now I'm being
tracked by LifeCorps!"
"Johnny isn't dead! It was all on the news---Johnny
was taken to Mercy Hospital EM! He's OK but for
some reason he's missing from the hospital! I
called there before I went looking for you."
Alex noted the frown on Jim's face and continued,"I
knew Johnny a long time ago. I met him at judo
class. I know Johnny well!"
Gabriel noticed the mellow look in Alex's eyes.
"I know him well also but I guess he keeps memories
of you to himself! He's probably looking for me!
Where could he possibly have gone?"
"I think I might know! He's probably gone to his
uncle for help in finding you."Alex's tone becomes
soft,"I want to find Johnny! He's hurt and needs to

Johnny,Jim and Alex reunite - Carol, Aug/18/2001 23:10:30
Jim's picture is posted all over the city. Alex and
Jim start out for uncle Floyd's lodge, outside of town.
Jim and Johnny had gone hunting in the past up there before
life had gotten so complicated for Jim.
Upon, arriving there, they first staked it out to make
sure no bounty hunters were around.
A cautious knock, and the door opens, revealing uncle Floyd,
with Johnny looking out, over his uncle's shoulder.A smile of
recognition from Johnny as he drops his rifle, extends his hand
and exclaims,
"It's good to see you made it!"
Jim grasps Johnny's hand in a hearty handshake, and says,
Well, we're not out of the woods yet!"
Alex smiles at Johnny and says,
"Yes, Lifecorps implanted a transmitter into Jim's neck.
They've put a call out for an early retrieval on him.
That's how we met.We've got to get it out otherwise we
don't stand a chance of getting out of here alive."
Then Johnny looks at Alex, rests his hands on her shoulders
and gently says, "You know, I wanted to be the one to protect you
so you wouldn't feel the need to learn Judo,or Karate.
But now I'm glad you did otherwise I wouldn't have met you again."
Alex smiles at Johnny and says,"My life has taken a few
turns since we've last seen each other"
As Floyd closes the door, he says," My nephew told me
about Bobby. That was a rotten trick, they pulled on you.
Getting you to sign over your body for Bobby's cure, then telling
you he was dead."
Jim looks at Floyd with desperation and asks,"Can you help me? Can you
get this thing out of my neck without paralyzing me?"
Floyd tries to diffuse the apprehension in Jim and says
jokingly,
"You know Jim, I'm a medicine man, and there are all kinds
of medicine. Let's see now, we could cut off your head,
but I think that would defeat the purpose of you coming here."
"Uncle Floyd, I've seen you filet fish and gut animals
I know you can do this." Jim said.
Floyd looked into Jim's eyes and stated "All kidding aside Jim
those animals were dead. They couldn't tell me if I
was doing a good job or not."
Jim stared into Floyd's eyes and said, " I trust you. Why, you
could do this job with a broken Coke bottle. I know that
you'll do the best job you can. Besides what do I have
to loose?"
Uncle Floyd administered some anesthetic herbs to Jim,
as Johnny and Alex held Jim steady so he wouldn't move.
After extracting the transmitter they implanted it into
a rattlesnake and let it go in the woods.
"I'd like to see the look on their faces when they think
they've finally caught up with you," chuckled Johnny.

Alex,Johnny and Jim said their goodbys and received
Uncle Floyd's blessing. They got into the
landcruiser with Jim driving.
"What's our plan?" Johnny finally spoke up.
"Well you said they took Bobby in a big limousine.
I say we go directly to LifeCorps. They must have
him someplace in the building. When we get there
we'll be able to plan further."
"Do you think you're up to rough stuff with Burke
and LifeCorps,Johnny?" Alex looked at Johnny with
concern.
"Yes,I'll be OK Alex,"Johnny answered. Then he
smiled and continued,"But my feet hurt!"
"Your feet hurt? How come?" Jim laughed.
"Well,I had some of my clothes at my Uncle's
cabin but no boots. I still have the janitor's
shoes on and they're too small!"
Alex and Jim laughed and somehow some of the
tension was gone.
"A pair of your boots are still in my apartment.
We got to go there to get my money anyway Jim,"Alex
spoke now very seriously.
Jim looked over at Alex and then looked into the
rear view mirror at Johnny's expression. Johnny was
very perceptive as he looked at Jim.He knew his best
friend was developing a great interest in Alex.
"That was a long time ago Jim!" Johnny said in a
very low tone.
Alex sat in silence as Jim hit the dash with his
hand.
"OK! Let's do it. First to Alex's apartment and
then to LifeCorps and Bobby."

As the trio arrive at Alex's apartment they are on the
lookout for Burke's men. Things are quiet when Johnny
looks into the closet, and asks where his boots are.
"They are under the bed, where you left them,"Alex replys
I never could find anyone to fill them as good as
you."
Johnny turns around to face Alex and says "I can see
you've tried. Whoever this coat belongs to sure
has expensive taste" as he holds it up to his torso.
"Just as I thought too small in the shoulders"
Jim takes the coat from Johnny and tries it on.
No sooner does Alex break into her cash stash, when
she is attacked by one of Lifecorps'goons. She grabs
the swords off the wall and makes a lunge for her
attacker. Her opponent wrestles one of the swords away
from her slicing through her sofa and screen. A duel to
the death ensues. Alex trips her attacker and he goes
crashing through the window, falling several stories.
Johnny grabs two of the attackers and knocks their heads
together. They fall to the floor like rag dolls, knocking
