okay and we spent day together. thus l missed the
chat-besides our Calif time for chat is noon and

The sea was tranquil and the sun was warm with a
gentle breeze that quietly made the flags wave on
the tree ships.
Suddenly a boom from the canons of the Diego awoke
the sleeping crew. The seamen started running about
the decks calling to the crews on the other two
ships.
Zan and The Wolf,with swords drawn,were calling
orders and looking for Michael on deck. He was
calling to Sonja and Manuela to "Stay Below"
He vaulted the stairs and stood,also with sword
drawn,beside the captains of The Wee Scottie and
The Lone Wolf.
"No time to go to our ships Zan! Stand fast! If
they wanted to do away with us, we'd all be at
the bottom of the ocean right now! Stand fast until
we find out what this son of Satan wants!'
"So it is Don Sabastian himself! Maybe he has Ioan
and Paco aboard. Looks like a slave ship to me!" The
Wolf said, observing the sneering Spanish captain
who was less than a half mile away and closing fast.
"It's the Don alright! Why do you think he hasn't
tried to blast us yet,Michael?" Zan said turning to
the High Greylander.
"We're about to find out girls!"
Don Sabastian saluted the three captains and took
the big horn to his mouth.
"Ah! This couldn't be better. Zan and the Wolf,
my business is with you. Turn over The High
Greylander and I shall allow you and your crews to
go in peace. Don't hand him over and you'll all meet
a fate worse than death!"
"I take it you mean slavery,Don de El Toro KAKA!
(translate this anyway you wish)" The Wolf shouted.
"I take this as a NO! Prepare for battle you
fools! Is he worth that much to you?"
"Is he worth that much to you!--I do believe the
man's daft!" Zan said to herself and then added
a few chose words.
They watched the Spanish Galleon drift about a mile
off. Michael turned to Zan and smiled.
"Well girls,here we go again! Wolf,we better get
on board our own ships. Goodluck to us all! Keep
Sonja and Manuela below at all times. God be with us
mates!" Michael saluted and swung over to his ship
on the line that was thown him by his second in
command. Wolf watched her idol and tried to catch
the rope trown to her by her crew mate. She
barely made it to her command deck.
"By God mates,I'm getting to old for all
this hero stuff! Well just don't stand about mates!
Prepare for battle!"

I Thought Zan Would Be Here By Now with Trocks!

Well Anyway---------------to Continue-----------
Four other ships were positioned for boarding The
Lone Wolf and The Wee Scottie. Don Sabasian's men
seemed to be everywhere. The sound of steel swords
clashing was mixed with the sounds of men getting
heads slit open.
Michael removed the smart red silk shirt and tied
his hair back with a red bandana so the rope burn
would be plainly visible. The Don darted forward with
a couple of fancy steps and waived his sword back
and forth. Michael stood completely still with his
dark eyes following every move of his opposition.
Suddenly the Spaniard made his attack and Michael
came back with everything he had. He was aware that
the superior swordmanship of the Don might prove to
be his finish! The sweat glitered on Michael's chest!
Meanwhile Scotty Bry and ten members of Zan's crew
had boarded The Diablo and were fighting hard with
the Don's crew. Scotty made his way below and there
he saw men shacked hand and foot, without water and
hollowed eyed. AH! Here was Ioan and Paco!
Scotty found the head ion lock and smashed it open.
He ran the chains along the prisioners leg irons,
fleeing them.
"Ioan,do you still have the strange herb from
Wales that may take The Time Warp from Michael and
Paco?"
"Yes, they failed to look in my boot. I have
it concealed in the heel. Thank God they left us our
boots since we were the last to be taken."
"Paco! Do you feel well enough to fight?"
The long haired super soccer star smiled and took
a knife from the belt of a dead guard.
"Let's go,Amigo! Ioan and I will not miss this
fight! Let's go!"
Meanwhile Michael was being slashed on the shoulder
by the Don's blade. The Don laughed wildly and
prepared to run the downed Michael through the
heart. Paco went into action! He noticed a cannon
cover had broken off and rolled along the deck.
Paco positioned the round cover just right and sent
it with all his might into the chest of tha Don.
The Don fell forward and died. Paco has saved The
High Greylander. Ioan went over and helped Michael
to his feet. The two sets of eyes that had been
peering from the women's cabin on The Wee Scottie
were now filled with happiness.
The fight continued until the second in command on
The Diego saw that the Don was dead. At this he
ordered all to cease and he called from his
command deck.
"Michael of Neer and you Wolf and Zan I wish
to stop this blood shed. You are all free to go.
And take the slaves. I never did like serving on a
slave ship anyway. Look we would have been finished
anyway. Look to the west! There sits the royal navy
of Neer. We will pay our respects to your King,
Michael and then be on our way."
All activity did stop and after a while the three
captains, their crews and the ladies were presented
to The King of Neer on deck of his flagship,The
Tabor.

I even saved the stale trocks, that I was saving for Zan.
Perhaps you could use them as ammunition when that gets low.
I'm getting a little sea sick, any chance of putting into
port for a little R&R? I think I spotted an island off in the
distance from the crow's nest, or maybe I should say the old
crow's nest.Hee hee!

"Land Ho!!!!!"
All on board his Highness's ship look about. Sure
enough it's Cliff Haven, Sonja's home.
"Your Highness,it would give me great pleasure
if we all go to my home for the feasting and
relaxing!" Sonja suggests.
The King of Neer looks towards the land and smiles.
"That would be most welcome,Sonja! We will
feast at
Cliff Haven as no one has ever feasted before.
Michael,Prince of Neer,what say you?"
Michael grins. He was hoping to see Cliff Haven
again before returning to Future Time.
"That would be wonderful your Highness!"
"Fine! Let's make ready!"
The Tabor,The Lone Wolf and The Wee Scottie finally
docked at Cliff Haven and Sonja immediately went
about giving orders to her staff and cooks at the
beautiful
manor house that was her home.

The day was perfect and the feast was grand. Plenty
of trocks and Greyeyes tea and even a bit of grog.
Dishes of lobster,clams and shrimp were prepared in
the most fabulous manner. Music was never missing.
This kept a handsome smile on Michael's face because
he loved music so. He sat beside the king and was
not surprised when his highness turned to him.
"Michael,Prince of Neer,I would give you my
kingdom if you would only stay. It will be lonely
without you,my beloved adopted son"
"I wish I could stay but I do not belong in
your time. I must return to my place in time. I
hope you understand!"
"Yes,I understand,Michael. Ioan can not guarantee
the herbs will work. But it is worth a try. Both
you and Paco are willing to take that chance."
The king seemed sad so Michael decided to liven up
the party.
"I feel like dancing my dear friends! I do not
have my POW WOW regalia here but I do have Wolf.
Drummer,please turn over your drums to Wolf."
Michael took off his high leather boots and soon he
was graefully twisting and turning to the beat of
the drum and the ooows and aaahs of his friends.
"Well done,Michael! Well done!" the king praised.
"Now I would like to dance the friendship dance
with my friends. Wolf, show them the steps as I will
also. Drummer,can you strike a steady beat?"
Soon all joined Michael in the happy dance and
Michael showered all with his handsome smile.
After the dance,Paco saw Manuela crying and went to
her.
"Paco,you said we would marry!"
"Yes,but that was before Ioan told me about the
herbs from Wales. Please don't cry,Manuela. I do
not belong here in your time. I must return to my
time in the future.
Oh,my Corazon,if I could take you with me I would.
But I can not. But here is Ioan. I will leave in
his safe keeping my dearest Manuela. Will you
care for her,Ioan?"
"I will,Paco,for all the rest of my life. If she
will have me!"
Manuela smiled sadly and agreed.
Michael heard Zan and the Wolf raising their
voices and went to them to listen.
"Wolf,for the love of Heaven,stop that
blubbering. You look like a crying school girl
instead of the captain of The Lone Wolf."
"Ahy! But that's a tear I see in your own eye,
Zan!"
"Ahy! I won't deny it! 'tis a tear!"
Michael smiled and opened his arms to the two.
"Come here my little captains! I owe you two my
life. You will always be in my heart!"
Michael hugged them and showered them with a
handsome smie.
Sonja had gone to the great stone wall that ran
along the ocean front with the steep cliffs dropping
to the sea below. Michael approached her.
"I use to listen to the sea hitting the cliffs
when you cared for me here until I was well.
Thankyou for that caring,Sonja! What will you do
now?"
"Oh,I have told Zan I will not sail with her
anymore. I will remain at Cliff Haven and write my
memoirs!" Sonja smiled sadly.
"Will I be in your writings?"
"Yes,surely you know I shall miss you terribly!
I do understand that you must return to your own
time and to that girl who loves you!"
"Sonja, I--I--" Michael searched for words.
"Michael,I look into your eyes and see the depth
of your very soul.I can no longer deny this feeling
that stirs within my heart! AH! enough---I will say
no more! Don't forget us!"
"I could sooner forget to breath!"
Michael frowned at his own words.
"What is it Michael?"
"My words--I have spoken them before somewhere!
But somehow I didn't really mean them like I do now"
Michael took Sonja's hands into his and kissed them.
Then without another word,he walked straight toward
Paco and Ioan.
"Michael,drink the herbs! Where were you when
you traveled into the time warp?"
"I was walking to class at Kent State. There was
the strong wind and I was here and I had my hair
long again" Michael put the goblet to his lips.
"You will continue your walk to class as if only
a minute had passed. And you Paco,where were you?"
"I was boarding a plane for a match in Bolivia.
The strange strong wind blew my hair wildly and I
was here!"
"Drink the herbs,Paco! You will continue your
walk to the plane but there will be no wind and your
long hair will show no sign of diserray."
The herbs from Wales did work for Michael and Paco.
Somehow they traveled through time warp to their own
time and continued their lives. But somehow when
they look at the ocean they remember another time
and another place and they close their eyes and
smile,happy in the fact that they were once there!
THE END

I'm glad you liked the story. I've been wondering
why Zan didn't get in on it. But I guess she's still
working on that thesis of hers.TEE HEE!
Yes,I loved Michael's line in "Crazy Horse"(I could
sooner forget to breath) I also loved the line Wes
Studi said as Red Cloud. Carol reminded us of it.
Wes was so dramatic when he said(We all had our
reasons and now it's too late) and he walks away.
As far as another story goes---what would you
suggest,Tala?
Maybe a Zorro type or what do you think?

did a pretty good job of throwing those cops around
in DMO. l like the way Seagal breaks their arms.

who is an Aikido instructor, and then get a series
The New Texas Rangers. If Chuck Norris would go
for that.
l like Aikido, l started taking class but couldn't
afford to stay on.

Race Agaist Time------JOHNNY'S NOT DEAD!

Well we all know that Jim Gabriel signed the
agreement with LifeCorps so he could get the money
for the expensive vaccine that would save his little
boy,Bobby. But when he goes to the hospital,Bobby's
gone and Gabriel is told that he died. Jim gives the
money back to LifeCorps but finds he must still
forfill his contract.
Gabriel is with his best friend,Johnny Black Eagle.
They try to drown the grief with whisky.
A knock is heard at the door and when Johnny opens
it,two of Burke's thugs push Johnny inside. Gabriel
jumps up from his chair.
Johnny uses his knowledge of martial arts on the
thugs and yells to Gabriel.
"Jim, run--run!"
Gabriel hesitates for a moment and looks up into
the cold eyes of Burke.
"You-Gabriel! your run is over!"
Burke then fires two shots into Johnny who falls to
the floor."What a shame-your Indian friend is dead!"
Gabriel,thinking Burke has killed Johnny,runs out
into the crouded street. He is unaware that the
tracking device was implanted in his neck. He is
also unaware that Johnny lays on the floor,badly
wounded but not dead!
A big black limousine was parked in the alley behind
Mercy Hospital while Johnny was given emergency
treatment to remove the two bullets. He was then
taken to his room and put on a monitor with and a
tube in his arm.
Johnny opened his eyes just as Bobby sneaked into
the room and hurried to the bedside.
"Uncle Johnny! Uncle Johnny,please wake up!"
"Bobby you're OK! You're alive!"
Johnny tried to get up but his head fell back on
the pillow.
"Uncle Johnny,they're going to take me someplace
in a big car! I heard them calling your name on
the nurse's radio and I came to the room that they
mentioned."
"Good boy! I've got to get out of this bed!"
"Bobby,you must not bother the other patients.
Come now, let your friend sleep!"the nurse advised,
taking hold of the boy.
No-wait!" Johnny struggled to get up but by the
time he was able to reach the stairs where they had
taken Bobby,the big limousine was just pulling away.

(For those of you who have been unable to see Race For Time,
Lifecorps is an organization that gives 300,000 to Jim Gabriel in
exchange for his body. The debt is to be called in after one year.
At the end of one year Lifecorps can do whatever they want
with it. Mainly Lifecorp is in the business of harvesting, and
selling off body parts. The reason Jim does this is because his son has
a virus, which by the way, Lifecorps has the vaccine for.)
Johnny realizes that he must find Gabriel before Lifecorps,
or else!!!!Johnny rips off the bandage holding the needle
into his arm and looks around. He can not run any where
with only a hospital gown on. Johnny finds the custodian's
closet and dons one of the jumpsuits, shoes, and cap. Pushing
a broom down the corridor he makes his escape. Johnny decides
to enlist his uncle's help in finding Bobby and Gabriel.

You're right Carol,there may be lots who didn't
catch Race Agaist time on TV!
So Johnny escaps from the hospital, dressed as a
janitor and pushing a broom(I'm sure he used the
broom for support--mending bullet holes you know!)
I like the bit about him enlisting the help of his
uncle in finding Gabriel and Bobby! While you're
developing this I'll go on with(IN THE MEANTIME!)
Meanwhile, across town,Gabriel goes into a crowded
night spot and is approuched by a blond girl named
Alex, who happens to be a bounty hunter looking for
him.
Outside,they are confronted with other bounty
hunters who are quickly put down by Alex's expert
Karate moves. Alex,who once worked for LifeCorps,
figures out that Jim is carrying a transmitter in
his neck, that was implanted during his evaluation
at LifeCorps. During conversation he learns Alex
has a softer part of her soul when she wants to pray
for Bobby.
"Well that takes care of the LifeCorps bracelet!"
Alex used lazer to remove the thing. She continues,
"I bet they got a transmitter implanted also!"
"They gave me a vitamin shot!"
"Great! That was it! Now they can track you! We got to
to get rid of it but it could be dangerous. We got
to get hold of a doctor!"
"Outstanding-My son is dead! My best friend,Johnny
Black Eagle was killed by Burke and now I'm being
tracked by LifeCorps!"
"Johnny isn't dead! It was all on the news---Johnny
was taken to Mercy Hospital EM! He's OK but for
some reason he's missing from the hospital! I
called there before I went looking for you."
Alex noted the frown on Jim's face and continued,"I
knew Johnny a long time ago. I met him at judo
class. I know Johnny well!"
Gabriel noticed the mellow look in Alex's eyes.
"I know him well also but I guess he keeps memories
of you to himself! He's probably looking for me!
Where could he possibly have gone?"
"I think I might know! He's probably gone to his
uncle for help in finding you."Alex's tone becomes
soft,"I want to find Johnny! He's hurt and needs to

Johnny,Jim and Alex reunite - Carol, Aug/18/2001 23:10:30
Jim's picture is posted all over the city. Alex and
Jim start out for uncle Floyd's lodge, outside of town.
Jim and Johnny had gone hunting in the past up there before
life had gotten so complicated for Jim.
Upon, arriving there, they first staked it out to make
sure no bounty hunters were around.
A cautious knock, and the door opens, revealing uncle Floyd,
with Johnny looking out, over his uncle's shoulder.A smile of
recognition from Johnny as he drops his rifle, extends his hand
and exclaims,
"It's good to see you made it!"
Jim grasps Johnny's hand in a hearty handshake, and says,
Well, we're not out of the woods yet!"
Alex smiles at Johnny and says,
"Yes, Lifecorps implanted a transmitter into Jim's neck.
They've put a call out for an early retrieval on him.
That's how we met.We've got to get it out otherwise we
don't stand a chance of getting out of here alive."
Then Johnny looks at Alex, rests his hands on her shoulders
and gently says, "You know, I wanted to be the one to protect you
so you wouldn't feel the need to learn Judo,or Karate.
But now I'm glad you did otherwise I wouldn't have met you again."
Alex smiles at Johnny and says,"My life has taken a few
turns since we've last seen each other"
As Floyd closes the door, he says," My nephew told me
about Bobby. That was a rotten trick, they pulled on you.
Getting you to sign over your body for Bobby's cure, then telling
you he was dead."
Jim looks at Floyd with desperation and asks,"Can you help me? Can you
get this thing out of my neck without paralyzing me?"
Floyd tries to diffuse the apprehension in Jim and says
jokingly,
"You know Jim, I'm a medicine man, and there are all kinds
of medicine. Let's see now, we could cut off your head,
but I think that would defeat the purpose of you coming here."
"Uncle Floyd, I've seen you filet fish and gut animals
I know you can do this." Jim said.
Floyd looked into Jim's eyes and stated "All kidding aside Jim
those animals were dead. They couldn't tell me if I
was doing a good job or not."
Jim stared into Floyd's eyes and said, " I trust you. Why, you
could do this job with a broken Coke bottle. I know that
you'll do the best job you can. Besides what do I have
to loose?"
Uncle Floyd administered some anesthetic herbs to Jim,
as Johnny and Alex held Jim steady so he wouldn't move.
After extracting the transmitter they implanted it into
a rattlesnake and let it go in the woods.
"I'd like to see the look on their faces when they think
they've finally caught up with you," chuckled Johnny.

Alex,Johnny and Jim said their goodbys and received
Uncle Floyd's blessing. They got into the
landcruiser with Jim driving.
"What's our plan?" Johnny finally spoke up.
"Well you said they took Bobby in a big limousine.
I say we go directly to LifeCorps. They must have
him someplace in the building. When we get there
we'll be able to plan further."
"Do you think you're up to rough stuff with Burke
and LifeCorps,Johnny?" Alex looked at Johnny with
concern.
"Yes,I'll be OK Alex,"Johnny answered. Then he
smiled and continued,"But my feet hurt!"
"Your feet hurt? How come?" Jim laughed.
"Well,I had some of my clothes at my Uncle's
cabin but no boots. I still have the janitor's
shoes on and they're too small!"
Alex and Jim laughed and somehow some of the
tension was gone.
"A pair of your boots are still in my apartment.
We got to go there to get my money anyway Jim,"Alex
spoke now very seriously.
Jim looked over at Alex and then looked into the
rear view mirror at Johnny's expression. Johnny was
very perceptive as he looked at Jim.He knew his best
friend was developing a great interest in Alex.
"That was a long time ago Jim!" Johnny said in a
very low tone.
Alex sat in silence as Jim hit the dash with his
hand.
"OK! Let's do it. First to Alex's apartment and
then to LifeCorps and Bobby."

Boots,Money and Revenge - Carol, Aug/19/2001 17:25:25
As the trio arrive at Alex's apartment they are on the
lookout for Burke's men. Things are quiet when Johnny
looks into the closet, and asks where his boots are.
"They are under the bed, where you left them,"Alex replys
I never could find anyone to fill them as good as
you."
Johnny turns around to face Alex and says "I can see
you've tried. Whoever this coat belongs to sure
has expensive taste" as he holds it up to his torso.
"Just as I thought too small in the shoulders"
Jim takes the coat from Johnny and tries it on.
No sooner does Alex break into her cash stash, when
she is attacked by one of Lifecorps'goons. She grabs
the swords off the wall and makes a lunge for her
attacker. Her opponent wrestles one of the swords away
from her slicing through her sofa and screen. A duel to
the death ensues. Alex trips her attacker and he goes
crashing through the window, falling several stories.
Johnny grabs two of the attackers and knocks their heads
together. They fall to the floor like rag dolls, knocking
over the Buddha shrine. Pretty good work being that
the goons are in heavy resistant helmets. Johnny grabs
one of their high tech weapons and starts shooting at
more men coming through the door. The bullets rip through
them like a hot knife through butter. The wall is torn
up like a wrecking crew had been there. One guy gets by
and attacks Jim. Jim picks up the floor lamp and uses
it as a bat first, then stabs the guy in the chest,completing
the electric circuit, frying his attacker.
As the dust settles, the trio looks around for any more
resistance as a picture of little Bobby floats down
to the floor. Burke enters the doorway and steps on the
photo of Bobby. The three of them are brought back to
the reason they started on this journey in the first place.
Burke looks at Alex, and says "Now you've gone to far,
killing my men Alex. And what is he (pointing to Jim)
doing wearing my coat?"
"I knew this coat smelled bad," sneers Jim,"Where's
Bobby, where's my son!
Johnny jumps Burke from behind in a strangle hold.
"You better tell us fast before you run out of breath,"
Johnny demands!
Burke tells them Bobby is being held at the Lifecorps
building on the 88th floor, with other children.
Burke falls into a faint, and the three bolt from the building.

and says,
"Alex, you never were a good house keeper!"
Marlene, do you remember what the name of the virus
was? It sounded like they were saying Ralph virus.
I turned up the volume, tried reading their lips and
I'm still not sure.
I know it's not important but you know we have that bootlips
thing. BTW the seriousness of this story is cramping my
style. Don't know if I can finish it without a little
craziness. I may have to have the Wee Tartan Spaceship come
down and beam everybody up to safety. Whadjathink?

made his condition look like he had that virus.

actually rewriting the TV script.

I'll start a new thread and put Marlene's Ending
and you write Carol's Ending OK? It will be fun to
see each of our efforts.

Again Jim is at the wheel as they race towards the
LifeCorps building. He can feel Johnny's anger.
"How could you take up with that piece of trash?"
Alex looked pleadingly into Johnny's eyes.
"He threatend me. He wouldn't leave me alone.
I was confused and hurt when you walked out. I tried
to call you to tell you how much I needed you. I
didn't do it and I think it was the biggest mistake
of my life!" Alex started to cry and Johnny put his
arms around her.
"I'd say you got a real woman there,buddy!"Jim
remarked. Alex walked out on LifeCorps and started
this bounty hunting. Now let's find my son!"
The three armed themselves with all the heavy
weapons they could carry.
"Your face is all over on posters and Alex is too
well known in there. I'll go in the front and try
to disable all the other elevaters except #3
Don't forget---"3! You two go in from the back. Take
a general look around and head for #3. With a little
luck we'll all meet on the top floor. Burke will be
back by now and It's my guess he'll move Bobby up
to the last floor,"Johnny said,putting rounds into
his automatic.
"I think you're right,Johnny! Here we are across
from LifeCorps. Let's go!
They made their way as planned. Johnny had to wait
'til it was clear of people and then he removed the
cover on the controll panel and started to jam the
other elevators. It worked but he forgot the
servaliance camera. Burke and his men were watching.
"Well,Mr Johnny BlackEagle that's quite a job
you did. And Ah, yes look on the North corridor----
Notty notty Alex! Gabriel,this time I'll get you!"
Alex saw the cameras were still working and she
started to shoot them out as they moved along the
building.
"Go up on#3 and get your son,Jim! Johnny and I
will keep Burke and his goons busy!"
Johnny nodded his agreement and started to put
power back into #1 elevator.
"That will confuse Burke for a while. When Jim's
up to the top,you go up in#1 Alex. I'll get #3 back
down and go up in it!"Johnny directed. Then he
gently took hold of Alex's arm."Be careful Alex!"
Alex smiled and disappeared into #1.
Meanwhile Jim was having a real serious fight with
Burke who had entered his elevator by the trap door
above. He had pulled Jim through and they fought
hard on the elevator roof. Finally jim knocked Burke
down several floors below. He was convined he
had killed him. Jim hurried back into the elevator
and went to the top floor.
But worse action was taking place in #1. Burke had
jumped the elevator shafts and now smashed threw
the trap door and confronted Alex with the intent
to kill her. Alex came up with her knee and
disabled Burke temporarily. She fumbled at the
elevator buttons,trying to get out but Burke
overpowered her and punched her in the side of the
face. Suddenly Johnny came smashing down into the
elevator and sent a powerful Karate kick into Burke,
knocking him to the floor. However Burke managed to
get his revolver out and aimed it right at Johnny's
heart. Alex was quicker and fired her automatic and
Burke was no more.
Jim found Bobby and the other children that were
slated to be used as organ donors. There had been
scandal and wrong doing in LifeCorps. The owners of
the company were unawear of all the graft and
corruption that was going on. They immediately
released Bobby and the other children and dispatched
the villins in their company.
Jim stood on the roof of the building holding his
son and Johnny had his arms around both of them.
Alex half hid at the door and turned to leave when
Jim called out to her.
"Alex come here! Come on! I think you need a
little time by your self someplace to find out
if you still love this thickhead! But you're bound
to end up with one of us! Come over here!"
Johnny laughed and held out his hands to Alex.
She went to him. Jim took Bobby's hand. Johnny took
Alex's hand and the four made their way toward #3
elevator as they looked forward to the rest of their
lives.

Race Against Time continues..... - Carol, Aug/25/2001 01:31:20
"Buckle up and hang on," exclaims Jim as he Johnny & Alex jump inot
the
Land Rover. Jim wheels the car around the corner, speeding
down the street like a steel ball in a bagatelle game
the car bounces of cars ripping off rear view mirrors,
hub caps, and a door, leaving obstacles for any pursuers.
The vehicle smashes through the entrance to the Lifecorp
building, sending shards of glass and metal flying.
Jim, Johnny and Alex bolt from the twisted, groaning
heap of metal, pushing down the security guards.
The police arrive on the scene gawking at the wreckage
wondering which law to write them up for first, speeding
wreckless driving, or littering.
Jim yells at Johnny and Alex, "Let's split up, I'll meet
you on the 88th floor." They push all the buttons, and
Jim decides to take the stairwell. He runs down
towards the basement in hopes of evading his captors.
Johnny and Alex rush into the first elevator they can
catch. While waiting to reach their destination Johnny and
Alex take a quite moment and glance at one another.
Johnny says, " Alex, did you really mean it when you said
no one could fill my boots?" Alex looks at Johnny and
nods her head yes. She looks hungryly at his lips wanting
to kiss him. Johnny stammers, "I'm not very good at apologies
but maybe uh, maybe when this is over we could try again,
you know, make a new begining." Alex looks into Johnny's
eyes and leans against him pushing him back into the
control panel. His back hits the buttons for the roof,
and as they kiss the elevator passes the 88th floor.
The doors open suddenly and they find themselves on the
roof. The wind whips their hair around, stinging their
faces. "I feel like the king of the world!," says Johnny
The two run to the edge of the building in search
of anything to aid their mission. "We'll go down the
side of the building on this window washer's scafolding!"
Alex looks at Johnny in amazement. As they lower themselves
down, a pulley snags and Johnny falls. He catches himself
on a ledge a few feet down and looks up at Alex. She is
swinging by a rope, caught on the scafolding. "Hang on, screams
Johnny!"

more! Boy,Carol, my blood pressure was already up
there when Alex almost got that special kiss!
Poor Jim, running up all those stairs. But then he
wouldn't have been in any shape for Alex's kiss
after all hat running,anyway.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see---Heh Carol??
By the way,wonder if Marnie has any blueberry

Carol's ending to Race Against Time - Carol, Aug/26/2001 21:49:03
Alex is suspended spiraling like a Xmas tree ornament. Johnny is hanging
by his
fingertips on the ledge. He
reaches into his pocket and pulls out his Swiss Army knife. He frantically
puts
it to his mouth searching out
blade shaped like a moose head. It has a glass cutter on the tip of it.
He
locates it and
pulls it out with his teeth. His fingers now wet start to go numb from
the
chilling wind
as his anxiety grows. He clumsily fumbles the knife around the window
weaking the glass enough to kick his way
through. His body lands on the floor inches from the stalagtite shards
that
would have severed his body. He
stagers to his feet, rubbing his hands together, washing them in his breath
for
warmth. Looking around her tears
some computer cable from the ports and uses it as a lasso to pull Alex
to
safety. They then
head for the 88th floor.
Meanwhile, Jim is running from Burke's men sliding in and out of dark corners
to get to the service elevator.
The Lifecorps goons run through the kitchen and come accross their
reflection in a metal refridgerator.
Startled they shoot it up sending the contents splurting out like fireworks.
Jim, looking like a participant at
at frat party food fight jumps into the service elevator and ascends to
the
88th floor.
Johnny and Alex catch up with Jim outside the room where they have detained
little Bobby. Surprisingly,
they are able to enter the room too easily. Before them stand many children
that Lifecorp has
used in their evil plans. Burke, steps from behind a dividing screen and
says,"
We've been waiting for you to join
the party, but it looks like you've gone ahead and started without us."
Burke is
holding Bobby as his shield.
Jim lowers his weapon and says, "Burke, if all you need is a body, then
take
mine! Let Bobby go with Johnny and Alex
and there won't be any more trouble. Johnny's rage becomes uncontrollable
as he glares at Burke, the man that got his girl into the bounty hunting
business.
"Hey, Burke I've got some cake and ice cream for you right here!" Johnny
leaps toward's Burke and knocks the gun

l was thinking Frank no longer drinks but he chews
gum and loves to play practical jokes, like putting
a small snake in the ice bin behind the Blue Quills
bar and he sits at a corner table waiting for the
bartender to open the cover to get ice cubes, and
when he does he screeches and swears, as Frank laughs
so hard he almost falls off his chair.
Wonder what prank he can play on Gooch.?
l would like to have something happen to that bald
creep who threw the drink at Gooch. (Michael gets
too many drinks thrown at him)payback time!!!

because the real Anna lost her Indian husband no

of the Blue Quill. The door opens and Gooch steps
down,looks about and smiles. Then he helps Poppy
down with her assorted suit cases.
"Thanks Gooch,you sure have changed. What's up?"
"This time in lockup I got to thinking a lot.
I know there's more to life than fighting and
sadness! The fighting I might have to hold on to---
I'm taking the job they offered me--I'm now a cop!
And you Poppy,what brings you back to the rez?"
Poppy looked with anticipation down the road.
"I still love Frank! I'm going to give it another
try. Well,here they come!" Poppy's face was radiant.
Frank,a wide grin on his face,and Sylis,dressed in
jumpsuit and a little cap to hold his long hair back
in a braid,came up to the two travelers. Frank and
Sylis were successful mechanics now and had opened
their little gararge called "The Engine Hospital"
Words were at a lost so therefor the four simply
exchanged warm hugs. Finally Gooch looked at Sylis.

Back at Gooch's cabin, Part I - Laurie, Aug/26/2001 00:35:57
Tried sending this before and this page froze. Ready for some
really bad, sappy, sentimental prose that'll never win a pullitzer prize?
I even ran a spell check because my spelling is usually so
messy! Here goes:
Gooch was sentenced to 1 year for punching out the constables at the RCMP station. Iliana asked her unsuspecting hubby Robert to plead his case with the provincial court. Thanks to Robert’s efforts & Gooch’s good behavior he was let out after 8 months.
Scene: Gooch’s rustic, solitary cabin by the lake
Time: a year after thAT bust-up at the gendarmerie.
After returning from the medium-security Provincial Penitentiary, Gooch spent many an hour sitting on the rocks by his cabin, fishing & meditating on his future. There was an empty space no one & nothing could fill: his heart called out daily to Ileana, who was still in Toronto with her yuppie lawyer hubby Robert.
Several months later, as he was finally installing those shelves in his cabin that he had mentioned to her that one romantic night over a year ago, he heard a car pulling up along the stony path. He never had visitors so it was either Revenue Canada hassling him for back taxes, or – could it be?? He opened the cabin door. Silhouetted against an orange sunset over the lake was his beloved Ileana! She was gently holding a bundle in her arms. “Hello, Gooch, ah-nee! There’s someone I want you to meet. I just heard from Silas that you were back on the rez & I drove all afternoon to get here.” Unfolding a corner of the blanket, she kissed the sleeping little face of a baby. “This is Gooch, Jr.,” she said, offering to let Gooch hold his son.
Scene: the hand-hewn breakfast table inside Gooch’s cabin
Time: the next morning, just after sunrise
Gooch smiled tenderly & knowing at Ileana, who returned the look warmly & affectionately “Gooch, life in TO is slowly killing my spirit. I want to return to this place. The thought of the rez, the lake, the woods, my family – & you – are what keep me breathing, what keep me going each day. Robert is good to me, but the love between him & me is gone. We are more like good friends living together. But there’s no passion anymore. I don’t want to hurt him, but I can’t go on this way. I just need some time to finish my nursing degree there. But then I want to come back. If you’ll have me…”
Gooch could scarcely believe his ears or eyes. This woman who was a part of his soul, a part of his every dream, who he thought he had lost forever, was here with him, wanting to return to him. “Ileana, you mean more to me than life itself. I’ll give you all the time you need. In the meantime I want to get my feet on the ground, find work, make you proud of me. I love you, Ileana, I’ll always be here waiting for you.”
Scene: another year has passed. A summer afternoon. Gooch on a ladder, putting a roof on the new addition to his cabin.
From his perch atop the new living room/solarium, he saw dust rising down
the lakeside road. He hears a horn as Ileana’s car comes closer into view.
Scurrying down the ladder, he waited impatiently for her to pull up beside
the cabin. She rolled down her window & said, “Gooch, I have
another surprise for you in the car…”

Gooch opened the back door of Ileana’s car. There in the middle was a carseat with Gooch, Jr., all smiles & mischievous brown eyes, definitely already into the “terrible two’s”. On either side of him were smaller carseats. Ileana turned around from the driver’s seat & said, “Meet Goochelle & Goocheana – our identical twins!!”
(Pretty awful names, I know, but bear with me here, ladies……)
Scene & time: 10 years later. The cabin is now a cozy lakeside home with more new rooms added, & a fine glassed-in porch facing the expanse of the lake.
Gooch pulls up in his van, with its signs saying “G. Lacroix Home Improvements, Ltd.” Ileana comes out from the kitchen, wiping her hands on her apron. Gooch Jr., Goochelle, Goocheanna, Goochito & Goochette all run up & cover him with hugs & kisses. “Daddy, Daddy, you’re home! Let’s play some hockey!!!!!”
Ileana works part-time as a nurse at the rez health clinic. Gooch’s home improvement company is successful, & he also sells Franklin stoves as a sideline. He & Ileana run a theater & dance school on weekends & holidays where the rez kids learn traditional stories & dance. The Kidiabanesee Kids have performed all around Canada.
As for Ileana’s spermazoidally-challenged ex-hubby, well, he was pretty upset to figure out those first 3 babies weren’t really his. But he & Ileana split amicably. He still stops by the rez occasionally to visit & see how Frank & Silas’ bodyshop & airbag-repair service is doing, since he gave them the money to open their business. But he never did figure out that those 2 devils duped him royally during the bogus naming ceremony. He still loves it when they call him Firechief!!

NELLIE! I loved that bit of Frank saying"Put Em UP-
--put Em Up" when each car goes up to be oil change
and lubed.
I see Sadie and Silas deeply loving each other but
Sadie is also deeply involved with the newly formed
AIM and spends a great deal of time traveling around
Canada and the US helping Russel Means out because
he is involved with the motion picture industry and
has only limited time.
But that big wedding day for them will come about
someday soon.
As for Frank and Poppy---Poppy sees that Frank is
trying very hard to grow up and will difinately
wait for him. Frank is now realizing how much he
has missed her. She now works as a waitress at the
Blue Quill. But as a waitress she is refined and
nothing like that tatty girl,Lydia,in SP.
A lot of nice guys would move in on Frank in a
minute if they thought they'd have a chance but
Poppy has eyes only for Frank. However she does
develope a solid friendship with Coyote(Poor Coyote-
remember him?) Coyote is now a doctor, MD at the
same health clinic where Illiana works as a nurse.
He has been haboring a terrible guilt because of
Little Margarite's murder. He is at the Blue Quill
a lot because Poppy's long talks with him and her
kindness is helping him a great deal.
Well Laurie,I'm getting kind of long here!
I HOPE NUMBER 4 or is it NUMBER 5 hasn't arrived at
that pretty cabin by the lake during my long message
TEE HEE!

Well Marlene i wanted to add a couple more to the already 5 adorable little
rugrat's. But i couldn't think of of any more diminutive's to add
to the 'Gooch' name so I left it at 5!!! Then again with a few more he
could field his own hocky team right??
Oh I forgot, Silas and Frank's bodyshop is called Firechief Auto Repairs.
& Gooch started the dance school because he loves to dance (interesting,
a certain actor we know loves to dance too......) and wins alot of prizes
at provincial powwow's for his grassdancing!!!
Oh & Gooch decided to to into the home improvement business because
when he made those shelves for his little cabin he realized
he was good with a saw and a hammer, went on to making the kitchen table
& adding rooms to his cabin, & it just snowballed from there.
Dr. Coyote has this secret, burning longing & acheing for his nurse
at the rez clinic, Ileana, but she never knows it because she has
eye's only for her handsome Gooch. (Who can blame her???) That makes poor
doc write alot of great, sad, sexually-charged, tormented poetry
that he publishes in Toronto. The latest book just hit the Toronto
Globe & Mail's best-seller list.
Ileana makes the best frybread in all of Ontario. She's a great cook but Gooch has to dance and work out constantly to ward off the extra pounds that are threatening to erase his fabluous abs.
There's talk of turning the Blue Quills either into a Planet Hollywood or a Blue Quills Casino. But the resident's still have to vote on this in a referendum.
Can't think of any inspired storyline about Frank & poppy.
Silas keeps writing short stories that also make it on the best-seller lists. He finally grows up & puts his writing skill's to good use, writing pro-AIM editorials to all of Canada's major newspapers & sending forcefull letter's to Members of Parliament (MP's). That makes Sadie see him in a whole new light & she marries him at last. She becomes an outspoken MP herself a few years later & there's talk that she could eventually become the first female Native Prime Minister one day!!!!

I think he pretty well knew how Frank and Silas were
razzng him about the becoming a brother routine.
It was easy to see how much Frank and Silas thought
of him. Also Mom Crow thought a lot of him when
Robert told the cop at Blue Quills that Silas was
his brother!!!! I think Robert would be missed
greatly by the family.
Wow,I never would have thought of Coyote writing
sexy,love hungry poetry. I saw him with the fire of
a warrior but also the gentle soul of a Robert
Burns. I wonder if Frank is becoming a little
jealous of all the long talks between Coyote and
Poppy????? Maybe Frank is growing up because
suddenly he has stopped assuming that Poppy will
always be there for him. He now is experiencing
a grown up feeling of possibly loosing her to Coyote
How about Gooch these days? What are his feelings
towards the responsibilities of married life and
all those little ones???? Remember he was a free
spirit before!!!!

Gooch, after those 3 years in the Pen pining for Ileana, plus the additional 8 months in the slammer, well... He couldn't be happier now could he??? He has the woman of his dreams he loves being married & adores each one of his adorable little ankle-biter's, oooop's I mean his kids!!
As for the tattoo'd punk friend of Little Margret's murdered murderer,
well that's an interesting story. He got thrown in the cooler for 6 months
for being a public nuisance. Good-hearted guy that
Gooch is he agreed to give him a job part time on his construction
crew. What was the punk's name? Geeze I've only seen DMO maybe 30 times.
Danny? Whatever. Well, one fine day the punk shows up with a hangover,
late, and full of piss-&-vinegar --- he was surly & nasty
with a BIG attitude that day bigger than his short size. Well, in Gooch's
time in the Pen he got black belt's in brazilian jui=jitsu &
Thai kickBoxing. A few well placed kicks that spinned the punk around
like an olympic iceskater doing one of those fancy twirls, seemed to last
10 minutes. & one dark, menacing look from Gooch. The punk was
cured of his wicked ways. Now he joined a cloistered catholic Monastary
where he wears a robe & sandals, bakes sunflower seed bread &
prays for other sinner's like himself. & all lived Happily ever after.
Or got what was coming to them. Except poor unrequited Doc Coyote who continues
to write this incredible award-winning poetry that you wouldn't dare to
show your maiden aunt Bertha... But now he's turning his romantic attention's
to Poppy who thinks he has the most AMAZING muscles. He is smart &
intelligent & steady & hunky she thinks & daydream's about
him all the time. She had this wild dream about him & her on the cover
of a romance story at the dime store.She compare's him to Frank &
Frank looks like kinda a jerk compared to Doc. She never
dreamed like THAT about old Frank FencePost! Don't show that book
to your great-aunt Gerty either...!!**grin**
Looks like a showdown is coming between him & Frank over Poppy...

Carol, I just went through those big green doors of
Greyland once,looking for Zan.
It was all kind of creepy! I couldn't find her in
the green mist. I imagined I was being chased by a
strange green monster that suddenly enlarged from
about 2" to 20ft! On the way out I had to view the
great picture galleries of the Lord Hi-Greylander and
I will confess,I stole some Lord Greyeyes tea and
trocks and another look at those wonderful galleries
of Michael. I mean the Lord Hi-greylander!

I know it's not a good start on this board, to miss out the very thirst
chatnight, but i just came
back from Paris yestrday, and i got very sick on the bus!
I had to call the doctor once i was home, i had severe stomach and intestinal
problems, i cannot
remember ever in my entire life beeing into somuch pain!
I'm slightly better now, due to medicine, but i am exhausted, so i wouldn't
hold my breath about
me having the strenght to chat!
