Chiaki(15)
brings an injured person to her home who turns out to be the devil prince
Ororon. In return for her help, he says he will grant her one wish.
As a joke, she says "stay with me forever" and is astonished when he agrees.
Chiaki is actually part angel, her father michel was an archangel who left
heaven to be with a human woman. spirits are attracted to Chiaki,
so Ororon protects her from them, as well as the angels who are trying
to 'exterminate' her, because as the offspring of an angel and a human
she has power which she can't control. Chiaki can't resolve her abhorrence
of killing people with the necessity when she and Ororon are being
hunted, and this is the main conflict of the story.
