 Chiaki-the
15 year-old girl who picks up ororon. She couldn't leave her house
much before she met Ororon because she attracts spirits, and finds out
the reason is that her father was the archangel michel, and she, being
the offspring of an angel and a human, is a 'kami'. She has a tremendous
amount of power that she can't control, but she just wants to live in peace
with friends, as she has always been lonely. her parents left when
she was very young, and recently her grandfather died, leaving her alone,
except for her one friend Rika. She can't accept Ororon's casual
attitude towards murder, but knows that there is no other way for him to
survive. |
 Ororon-the
123 year-old devil king who is helped by Chiaki when he was badly injured.
He loves Chiaki and doesn't like doing things that she disapproves of,
but is so used to killing people who are trying to kill him that he can't
understand her resistance to murder. His mother hated hiim, because
he resembled his father Oz, the Devil King, who killed her lover.
He is very good-looking, with three marks under his left eye, and has a
dry sense of humour. He acts cool all the time, but he often loses
his composure when his older brother Osero shows up and teases him.
He is very powerful, and is used to the corrupt and dangerous underworld.

 Rika-Chiaki's
best and only friend since elementary school. She is protective of
Chiaki and at first accepts Ororon only because Chiaki likes him and he
treats her well. She is beautiful and opinionated, and is annoyed
rather than afraid of all the spirits that hang around Chiaki. At
the beginning of the story she has to move back in with her family, but
later begins to travel with Chiaki and Ororon again because she doesn't
like her parents. |
 Shiro-A
cat spirit that first came to eat Chiaki and was killed by Ororon, but
thanks to Chiaki was brought back to life. He is living in Chiaki's
house as well as his little brother Kuro. He is a coward and always
tries to run away from trouble but is faithful to his new friends.
He and Rika always fight but it's pretty obvious they like each other. |
 Osero-Ororon's
older brother, also a devil prince and the leader of the seiryuugun, the
best troop of hell's army. He is the best (period) with a sword,
and knows it. His personality seems very laidback, and he has a reputation
for strange tastes. He liked collecting odd objects and people.
He is Lord Oz's fifth son. He loves to tease people, especially Ororon,
but is respected by most.

 Mitsume-A
bounty hunter with three eyes and one arm, and two fingers missing from
his right hand. Mitsume was born in a northern village and ostracized
from birth because of his third eye. His parents were killed when
he was a child by villagers, after which he ran away, That was when
he became a bounty hunter. Osero takes a liking to him and wants
him to join his army, but Mitsume is unwilling to give up control over
his life to anyone else. Mitsume is a good person(I think) but has
never had any friends or anything worth living for. |
 Lady
Miss Lucy-Ororon brought Lady Miss lucy to cook
and clean because Chiaki's cooking is horrible. She's tall, skinny,
with grey hair held back in a bun, and looks scary, but is quite nice.
She takes everybody's weird doings pretty much in stride, since she's used
to waiting on the Royal Family of Hell. She can also take care of
herself very well, and often beats up Shiro and/or Kuro if they get out
of line or get in the way of her cleaning. She's fond of Ororon and
Chiaki |
