Saint Jude,
apostle and preacher of the Good News of Jesus Christ,
we thank God for choosing you for this glorious mission.
You saw Jesus face to face,
walked and talked with Him,
and served Him without counting the cost.
Pray for us,
blessed preacher of the Good News,
that makes even bad news bearable.
May Christ be the center of our lives.
May we welcome every opportunity to share Him with others.
This we ask through your powerful intercession.

Dear Saint Jude,
kinsman of Christ,
we pray for those whom God has given us to hold in special affection.
We recommend to you all who are dear to us,
all our close relatives and friends.
Please intercede for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Help us and assist us to fulfill the Lord's precept of Loving others as ourselves.

Prayer to Saint Jude

Most Holy apostle,
Saint Jude,
faithful servant and friend of Jesus,
the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master
into the hands of His enemies
has caused you to be forgotten by many,
but the Church honors and invokes you universally,
as the patron of hopeless cases,
of things almost despaired of.
Pray for me,
I am so helpless and alone.
Make use,
I implore you,
of that particular privilege given to you,
to bring visible and speedy help
where help is almost despaired of.
Come to my assistance
in this great need
that I may receive all consolation and help of heaven
in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly
(Here mention your request(s))
and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.
I promise, O Blessed Saint Jude,
always to be ever mindful of this great favor,
to always honor you as my special and powerful patron,
and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.
