Ervin B. Leihy, b. 1822 near Pulaski, NY
(his father was not foreign born). Died 1901.
- married Angelique (or Angeline) Morrin, b. 1830 in LaPuente, WI (or
Sault Ste. Marie, WI). She was the daughter of French Canadian trapper and
full-blooded Chippewa squaw. Died 1911.
AND
William Leihy, b. 1825 in Galway
(Kiltormer County) Ireland (son of Andrew Leihy & Mary Griffin of
Ireland)
- he moved to Queenscliff, Victoria, Australia and married Ellen Dowling
- had seven children; built the ROYAL HOTEL in 1854 in Queenscliff,
Victoria
AND
Thomas Leihy, b. 1825 in Ireland
- married Mary, b. 1828 in Ireland; had three children (two born in MA
& one in NH)
