 1. Respect will be given to all Free Men and Women regardless of Caste, unless their behavior deems it otherwise. 2. All members of the city must be enrolled with their Caste and registered. 3. FREE WOMEN OR SLAVES, who are either DRUNKEN, RUDE or ARROGANT in PUBLIC will be collared, and beaten on sight by City Gaurds, regardless of HOUSE or CASTE. There is no reason for ANY FREE WOMAN to be rude or Disrespectful of another FW or FM. Slaves will be put to death and a letter of explanation, as well as a scroll of record will be sent to the Master. NOTE:: "This punishment will also be extended to Rude or Arrogant "THOUGHTS" which have no place our GOR RP Rooms. This law will be STRICTLY enforced. Veils on FW are optional within the city walls. 4. Outlaws and PG/Taluna will be arrested on sight. ((Inform them OOC that they must leave or face arrest. If they refuse, RP an NPC Gaurd seizing and arresting them, then Click their SN on ignore. 5. On the topic of NPC Guards, This has become quite ridiculous in Gor as of Late, So I will make this Clear…. the maximum that will be with any FW is 3. 6. FREE MEN there is to be no excessive or lewd fondling of slaves in ANY public room of the city. A kiss, a hug, a pet on the head is acceptable, fondling of your slaves genitals and breasts or furring in public is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Take this rp to a private room. Affection between free couples will be limited to a kiss, a hug, or holding hands. ANYONE IN VIOLATION of this edict MALE OR FEMALE risks, imprisonment or the Kohlar. 7. Mun Consent does not exist in this city, if your FW or SLAVE is doing something to risk the Kohlar and recieves it, it will be done either by CITY NPC GAURDS or another player IC without your approval. If the character is killed or collared and you refuse to accept this IC, then your SN will be ignored in the city of Jort's Ferry. 8. Any new potential members of the City must be interviewed by the City Scribe or the Ubar. The Ubar will make the final decision on any new members joining. Members must send the potential member to the City Scribe first so that she may speak to them breifly as the Ubars Representative, before further referring them to the Ubar. 9. All DM's, HM's, CM's, RM's are to be held in the Private Arena of Jorts's Ferry, and either Scribed by the City Scribe herself, or another who is authorized to do such things by either the Ubar or the City Scribe. If none is available at the moment, send a scroll to the City Scribe requesting a day and time, if she is not available, she will see to it that someone is.
Harassment OOC and IC
Harassment IC or OOC or Char crossing to eliminate a char will not be tolerated and will be ignored. If the harassment does not stop after one warning, then the player will be Persona Non Grata in the city of Jorts Ferry. A list will be kept of offenders and sent out in the monthly news letter once it is started, to remind everyone in the city who is not to be acknowledged. If you feel your being harrassed, IC for OOC reasons or harassed OOC by another member, then LOG ALL conversations and or rp examples of harrassment. Send these logs to the City Scribe Layali Qamar, and to the Ubar. The Ubar will review the evidence and make a judgement, all decisions are final.
I and MANY of the players here are SICK AND TIRED of childish Games and stupidity…. and we have ZERO TOLERANCE for such behavior in our City. The world of GOR is an adult world filled with adult themes. And those who RP this world online, are expected to bahave in a civilized and mature manner. They're are PLENTY of Disney Gor rooms for those of you who prefer that RP. We, the members of this City do not, and will not tolerate it. We are all here to enjoy ourselves and create a world online in which we wish to play and live our characters.
If you Have an IC problem with one of Jorts Ferry, that is FINE. Seek the mediation of the Ubar, Master of Arms or or the City Scribe in order to settle the matter OOC or IC, but DO NOT HARASS one another and then come whining to us OOC OR IC with that "HE SAID SHE SAID " Crap. The OOC/IC harassment stops here and now. Here is an Excerpt from the America Online Terms of Service (TOS) Policies on what is Considered TOSable.
"Any Action or commet that is Harassing, threatening, embarrassingin in nature that is directed at another member and is unwanted. This means: don't say bad things about them, don't keep sending them unwanted Instant Message(TM) notes, don't attack their race, heritage, etc. If you disagree with someone, respond to the subject, not the person."
