Bunny Reading 101
                                     Required Reading and Viewing

As a well versed bunny proprietor, one must familiarize themselves
with bunny culture. In the following I have laid out informative
books on bunny care, bunny raising, good children's stories,
and general bunny information. Most, if not all, may be
purchased at most book stores, or for you computer
savvy out there, at Amazon.Com. *More to come soon.

This is the House Rabbit Handbook (by Merrinel Harriman).
A must have for bunny owners. Detailed information on raising a rabbit,
and excellent sections on rabbit health. I bought this book a few weeks after
our sweet Phili came to us and I still read it over and over again.

The self explanatory title "HOP TO IT, A Guide
To Training Your Pet Rabbit" (by Samantha Hunter, Samantha Fraser)
says it all. Very useful in techniques on potty training and behavioral training
(teaching what and what not to chew and the like).
Definitely a book to have handy and in understanding your joyful bundle of fur.
Ohhhhh, the Velveteen Rabbit (by Margery Williams).
I got this book when I was a little girl, and I still have the little stuffed
velvet rabbit that came with the book (sans an ear). This quickly became
one of my favorite stories and still today I can't hear it's name without
thinking of all the fond memories I had reading this book. A lovely story,
a timeless classic that whether you are 4 years old or 80 years old, will just fill
your heart with giddy joy (even you sourpusses out there). Bring on the
 nursery magic, it's bunny time!
Watership Down (by Richard Adams), a scintillating movie,
an even more mesmerizing book. Watership down is a tale with a tone that
has been told by no other. This bunny story is told with such jeweled
complexity that there are rare cases in which a bunny's tale has been told
with such beauty and intellect. Fascinating for children (as my fiancee still
tells me about when he was little watching his favorite bunny flick
with his father) as well as thought provoking for adults. Definitely
a great buy whether you have a bunny or not.
