What is Spetsnatz?

Spetsnatz is the phonetical spelling of a russian word that means Special Forces. So if you are reading this page then congratulations! This is a different kind of guild for DAoC. We at Spetsnatz desire to constantly improve on our strategy and tactics in the game that had become our world - Dark Age of Camelot. But our guild isn't all business. Here you will find that this guild really is concerned about his/her fellow man. There is a sense of comradery in this guild like no other. I know that I want others in this guild to be the best that they can be, for after all we are only as strong as our weakest link. This means that I will powerlevel (just don't beg for it), I will craft, and I will offer brotherly advice to anyone that will lend an ear.

The Art of War

Spetnatz is different in the way it does it's ranking system for one thing. There aren't really any prestigious positions. People who show and desire and natural ability will lead will recieve officer positions but that's really all there is: officers and troops. This guild's ranking system is different in the fact that depending on how you like to play in RvR will dictate your rank. If you like to fight with the masses you will be assigned to the main infantry core. If you like creating diversions and ambushes then the stealthers division may be more of your thing. The cool part about all this is that these 2 forces can work together. And that's another part of our guild: the coordinating and timing of our attacks.
