Garthe Knight, thought to be killed when Goliath went off a cliff steals KITT's CPU and kidnaps Bonnie and Devon. Its a race against time for Micheal to rebuild KITT and recruit April Curtis and another CPU---that of KARR.

Wilton Knight's days before his death lead up to the closing of his foundation after KARR is found to be to self-preservationalist allowing the death of Ken Franklin.

Michael and KARR are sent by Devon to find out who is sending death threats to RC, only to discover it is none other than Tonya Walker, who was wearing a protective bullet proof suit and faked her own death the night she shot at Michael and tried to kill him at KITT's window.

Michael and KARR get ready to face Garthe's completed Goliath and KARR is structurly rebuilt with a Super Molecular Bonded Shell as April continues to make the adjustments on the new jet air pac that will allow KARR to obtain flight for up to 10 seconds at a time and accelerate beyond 400 MPH in SPM.

Michael and KARR help a young boy who calls the foundation after witnessing a crime, only to be doubted by everyone around him who thinks he is crying wolf.

Michael tracks down Goliath and KARR, in an attempt to better his position, smashes through Goliath and KITT's integrated cpu suffers severe damage. Michael rescues Bonnie, who goes in front of the foundation board to rebuild KITT and is denied funding and her position, which has now been filled by April Curtis.

Michael and Devon are forced to resign by Benjamin Knight, who instructs April to shut down KARR and she has no choice but to oblige. Michael finds Bonnie and admits to her that he loves her. Bonnie and Michael agree to start dating soon, which angers a jealous April. In the mean time, Bonnie breaks in to the semi and reactivates KARR while Devon manages to reclaim control of the Foundation and the board.

April and Bonnie force Devon to decide which one will be KARR's mechanic and which will be KITT's, as KITT is rebuilt with all of KARR's new features and the new jet air feature.

Michael tries to help his former girlfriend find her child, only to discover that Michael Long was the father.

Michael and KITT are sent on an assignment and learn that Muntzy Pierson, who had been shot by one of Tonya's men, had survived the fatal gun shot. Michael asks Muntzy to be the pilot of KARR as Muntzy remembers his days with Michael Long.

Michael takes a vacation and revisits his old neighborhood and is watched by an unknown individual, who leaves several of Michael Long's cherished possesions right near KITT.

Bonnie begins to recieve letters from Michael Long and Michael and KITT discover that Micheal Long is alive and well. Muntzy puts Long to the test and Devon admits that Michael Long is alive and was forced to disappear and paid millions by Wilton to flee to a Carribean Island to avoid death.

Michael and Muntzy must stop an international gun-running operation from taking over a small town.

Michael and K.I.T.T. enter a race where a drug smuggler has stashed money into one of the race cars.

Michael is shocked and KITT is damaged when a bolt of electricity shoots through KITT's circuts.

Bonnie and Michael Knight agree on a wedding date and KARR is taken on a mission by Muntzy and RC. RC is fatally wounded and dies, forcing both Michael and Muntzy to payback the people who killed him.

KARR and KITT refuse to Turbo Boost after both are responsible for the death of a boy.

April Curtis chooses to leave the foundation and betrays Devon's trust by destroying the Semi's computers and destroying Bonnie's new protype, the Knight Industries Three Thousand with the help of Fred Wilson.

While Michael and Bonnie, who both are on vacation, are getting married, Michael Long asks to join F.L.A.G. as the new driver of the Knight Industries 3000 and is greeted into the F.L.A.G. family to replace RC. The new KITT is given an exclusive feature that will be revealed in Season 6.
