We, the fans of Kimberly McCullough and her character, Robin Scorpio, wish to express our displeasure and utter disappointment with the news that she has left the show. Whether the decision was of Kimberly's own accord or the decision of the powers that be at General Hospital, we are devastated. However, we are not giving in so quickly.

First and foremost, we would like to address the idea of recasting the character of Robin Scorpio. We will not stand for it! There have been rumors of possibly bringing Robert, Anna or Duke back to General Hospital. And with the resurgence of Faison, we know that is very possible. And of course, we know that Robin plays an important part in these stories. But we also know that it would only work if Kimberly McCullough were playing the role.

We have also been hearing that General Hospital is considering recasting Robin because they want to focus on her HIV status since there is so much more of a story to tell. When Kimberly came back to GH in November of 1997, Robins HIV status was ignored to such a degree that it was a complete disgrace. And now that Kimberly is gone, it should be focused on? One of the major reasons that the HIV story line was successful was because of the beautiful, inspired performances that Kimberly gave. Kimberly McCullough played the biggest part in a story that put GH on the map and won countless awards for the show! Please don't steal that from her (and the fans of GH) by letting some other actress sneak in and continue the story that belongs to her.

The way that Jason and Robin ended along with they way that Robin was written out of the show was very heartbreaking for all for Kimberly McCullough fans. The treatment of Robin by Jason and Sonny after the truth about Michael's paternity came out has been absolutely disgraceful. And on her last day we did not get to see one flashback of Kimberly's 14 years on GH. There is no excuse that General Hospital could possibly give us that would explain why we weren't at least given that.

We want the love story of Jason and Robin fixed. We want Jason to realize that he gave up the one good, pure, wonderful, beautiful and truthful thing in his life to hold onto something that wasn't his and he had no right to have. And then, we want Jason and Robin in their own story line. We want action, adventure and romance. And yes, we want the biggest wedding Port Charles has ever seen and a baby on the way! We want Jason and Robin back together and we want Kimberly McCullough back as Robin when it happens.

No matter what, we just want General Hospital to get Kimberly back. The character of Robin Scorpio is sorely needed at GH and only Kimberly can play her. We want her back in a story of her own that showcases her extraordinary abilities. Kimberly's talent and the chemistry she has with everyone on GH combined with Robin's rich history with so many characters on the show, makes for endless story line possibilities. We have watched Robin grow from an adorable and charming little girl into a strong, beautiful young woman. No one else can take her place in the hearts of the fans. General Hospital made a big mistake in letting Kimberly McCullough go and they need to do everything in their power to get her back. Please don't disappoint us. Bring Kimberly back to General Hospital.
