Peppermille: Concatulations on mewr winning a furry close race Ms Caroline.  Mew must haf a lot of furrends because of mewr renown as the Ace reporter of the CLAW Zine. How does it feel to win?

Caroline: Gosh Golly Gee WOW, Peppermille, I am so happy to win. I
guess people do read my column, but I hope they voted fur me because they like me, my wed-wink and especially my meowmie, as well. I had the help of many dear, dear furriends.

Peppermille: I know mew haf a furry nice home now, but had a bit of trouble finding a permanent one, didn't mew?

Caroline: That is extremely true, Peppermille. I do haf a great home
now, with Saint Baby Panther and Meowmie. It has been my home for
almost ten years now. It was my first six months that were a
challenge. I was born in one place, and was then given to a Pet
store. Then a nice lady bought me for her son, and they named
me Spot, because there is a big black spot under my tail (blush),
but the little boy was furry allergic to me, so they had to find another home fur me. Then, their co-worker, Pete, took me home with him. There I was, in my fourth home, and I was only about four or five months old. I still had problems, though, because Pete had to move, and the house he was moving to did not allow any animals, not even indoor cats. So Pete's friend and co-worker, Ken, took me home with him, and he just happened to live with meowmie. When I first saw Meowmie, I knew she was the purrfect meowmie fur me, and from the moment I first saw her, I knew I finally had found my forefer home. Meowmie finally decided that she wanted to live with us cats, rather than Ken, so out he went and there we stayed. I thought at that time
"Oh, I haf finally found paradise."

Peppermille: Seems to me that I heard mew live in Florida also. Are mew afraid of the thunder storms we haf?
I know I am and head for under the bed every time!

Caroline: Miew sure do haf that right, Peppermille. They are soooo
furry loud and scary. I run under the bed too, even if someone
knocks hard on the door. Meowmie says someone upstairs is only
moving furniture, but it still scares me.

Peppermille: You also found mewr soul mate there too, as I haf heard.
It must be nice to haf a Wink-wink to cuddle up to all the time. You don't
tease him too much do mew?

Caroline: Tease Saint Baby Panther?? Tease him? ME???? (snicker) Of
course not (big grin). When I first met Saint Baby Panther, he fell in
luf with me the minute he first laid his big beautifur green eyes on
me. I luffed him too, but didn't want him to know I felt that way, so I
acted like a monster, always jumping on his back and hissing at him. He
continued being wonderfur to me. Then, one night, meomie (who had been separating us, when we were alone) told Ken that it was New Years Eve, and that they were going to let Saint Baby Panther and I stay together, and whatever happened, happened. When they arrived home, there we were, all curled up in each others' arms, kissing and stuff....YOU KNOW!!!
It really is wonderfur sleeping in his big strong arms, but
occasionally I like to chase him like when I was a kitten. All those
chases are good every now and again to keep up my girlish figure.
I only weigh 7-1/2 pounds and am furry long. I stretch out well
ofer four feet, or maybe even five.

Peppermille: What is mewr favorite food? Do mew both like the same
things to eat?

Caroline: What is my favorite food? You already know the answer to that
question - effuryone knows the answer to THAT question. I lufs SHRIMPY
SHRIMPY AND MORE SHRIMPY, but also like Fancy Feast Minced Turkey and Iams weight loss dry food. Saint Baby Panther lufs them both as well, but he also like salad greens. Then I also luf Nilla Eye Scream lots.
Meowmie gives me a lick effury now and then.

Pepper Mille: Is there anything else you would like to tell us?

Caroline: First of all, I want to commend all the other contestants in
the contest, especially Calli, who gave me a good run for my money. She is such a pretty kitten, isn't she? Then I would like to thank
effuryone from Clawfurriends, CLAW, the CLAW Zine, Fat is Fun,
especially my Aunt Candy who handled my campaign and strategy and was MAGNIFICENT, the warrior women from meowmie's warrior women e-group, and the members (and their animal companions and furmilies) of the Franconia College alumnae e-group, because their support has been substantial. I truly hope I have not left any kitty or anyone out.
If I did, then thank miew too. I nefer realized how many furriends
I really do have. I am truly blessed. Thanks to all of miew.
