Mew, Bubba, sorry to disturb mewr nap, but I wud like to ask mew  a few questions fer the Gazette. Concatulations on a furry impressive win of the Senior Gallery 2004.
How does it feel to win?

Bubba: Thanks for the Concats Pepper Mille'. Actually I wasn't expecting to win the contest so I was really surprised when I did. It was funny, before I found out I won, I got a concats email from my friend Genghis Kahn...I had no idea what he was talking about.

Are mew an adopted kitty like most of us?

Bubba: My mom got me from a pet store. She wanted another kitty so my sisfur Snowball (who is at the Bridge now) would have a friend. She was
planning on getting me from the shelter. But, one day she had to go into the
pet store to pick up something for Snowball and she saw me! In a few hours, Snowball had a new friend....me! The rest is history

I haf heard dat mew haf two sisfurs are they younger than mew?
Do mew get along wif them? Do mew haf a favorite?
 

Bubba: Yes, I have 2 younger sisters. Tabitha is 4 and Samantha (Sam) is
2. I also have a younger brother, Max, he's 1. I tolerate my siblings, but if I had a choice I wouldn't want any of them. If I had to pick one that is my favorite it would be Samantha.

I hear dat mew are a co-leader for BSK (Back Seat Kitties) a guild of CLAW.
Is dat how mew met mewr Winkwink Bonnie Sue?

Bubba: Yes I'm very happy to say that I'm the co-leader and co-founder of the BSKSG along with my best buddy Max Poisson. We've been leading that
group for between 4 to 6 years and it just keeps getting better. But, no I didn't meet Bonnie-Sue thorugh the BSKSG. As I said, Max is my best friend, our sisters Jazzy and Sassy were best friends, they're both at the Bridge now and I know they're best friends there. Jazzy was also wedwinked to Razz Poisson. Also our meowmie's are best friends. I knew Max and Sassy had a little sister but I really didn't know her. There used to be a group in CLAW called Big Brofurs/Big Sisfurs which Jazzy led. The Poisson's asked Jazzy to be Bonnie-Sue's big sisfur so I got to know her then...after awhile Jazzy and Bonnie-Sue co-led the group together. I guess you can say that I've known Bonnie-Sue most of her life. I asked her to be my wedwink the night before I had the surgery to get my ear removed.

One of mewr furrends told me dat mew are a Cancer survivor and dat is how mew lost mewr ear. You've had a tough time getting to the age of 15. A lot of kitties were purring fer mew, I bet.  Were mew sick a long time?

Bubba: I had cancer of the ear but I don't think I was sick a long time. Mom found the tumor early. After checking me out the vet said my tumor was malignant and that maybe we could get all the cancer but I'd probably have to have my entire ear removed. The purrs from others helped a lot. Now I've just been diagnosed as having Chronic Renal Failure and I know the purrs are helping me now too.
 

 Do mew haf a favorite sleeping place?

Bubba: My favorite sleeping place is on the cable box in mom's bedroom. Its
nice and warm and is also hi off the ground.

Do you haf any favorite hooman foods dat mew like? Any treats?

Bubba: My favorite hooman foods are Ritz Crackers and Potato Chips. Mom would break off a tiny piece for me. But, since I've been diagnosed with CRF I'm on a special diet and I can't have my favorite foods as much.

Who is mewr favorite hooman?

Bubba: My favorite hooman is my mom! I've known her all my life and we've been through a lot together. To be honest, I'd be a happy kitty if it was just me and mom. I'm never far from mom. We have a really special relationship.
 

It has been an honor to interview such a much loved kitty. Is dere anything else mew would like to tell us?

 Bubba: I'd like to say thank you to the kitties who voted for me. Also
thanks to my friends for being great friends and to Max Taylor, the bestest
bud a guy can have. Also, thank you all for the purrs and support you've given me and my family. Hmmm...I've seen hoomans being interviewed
and they always say hi to their mom's...so....Meow Mom! Finally, thank you to Queen Midnight, Queen Tissy and all the officers for making CLAW a
great place.

Yes, it is a great purrlace fer kitties to hang out and make many new furrends. Also to help kitties that are less fortunate. I will be purring fer mew also and I hope all of the Gallery's 85 memfurs will add an extra purr fer mew too!
