McCracken Co., Kentucky Will Book A, Page 471 Will of FREDERICK HARPER, deceased The last will and testament of Frederick Harper of McCracken County, Kentucky. I, Frederick Harper, considering the uncertainity of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say. 1st, I give and bequeath unto my wife, Sarah Harper, during her natural life, all that tract of land on which I now live it being a fraction of the north east quarter of section 28 township six Range one east and at her death, thirty acres off the north end of said land to my son, Jesse Harper, thirty acres of said land lying south of Jesse to my son, Thomas Bennett Harper. I have given heretofore to my daughter, Feraby Dossett, on bed, bedding and one cow and other property in whole to the amount of thirty dollars, which is all I shall give or bequeath her. I have heretofore given to my daughter, Nancy Hauser one bed and bedding, and one cow and other property to the amount in whole to the value of thirty dollars, which is all I give or bequeath to her. I have heretofore given to my son, Briant Harper, one horse and bed and bedding, and one cow and other property in whole to the value of eighty dollaars which is all I give or bequeath to his or any of his heirs. I have heretofore given to my son Kinian Harper, one horse, saddle and bridle, one cow and calf, one bed and bedding to the amount in whole to the value of eighty dollars which is all I give or bequeath to him. I have heretofore given to my son, William Harper, one horse, cow and calf, one bed and bedding, amounting in whole to the value of eighty dollars, which is all I give and bequeath to him. I have heretofore given to my daughter, Rebecca Wilkins, one bed and bedding, one cow and calf, and other property to the amount in whole to the value of thirty dollars, which is all I give or bequeath to her. I have heretofore given to my son, George W. Harper and my son, Warren Harper, each of them, one horse, saddle and bridle, one cow and calf, one bed and bedding to the amount in whole to the value of Eighty dollars each. I now give and bequeath to them forty acres of lands to be equally divided between them. Twenty aces to each to be taken in a square in the northwest corner of section 28 Township six Range one East. I have heretofore given to my son, John Harper, one horse and cow, bed and bedding to the amount in whole to the value of Eighty dollars. I now give and bequeath to him Twenty acres of land to be taken south of George W. and Warren's forty acres. I have heretofore given to my son, Blaney Harper, one horse and bed and bedding, to the amount in whole to the value of Eighty dollars. I now give and bequeath to him Twenty acres of land to be taken south of John's twenty acres. I have heretofore given to my son, Elijah Harper, one cow and calf, one bed and bedding, to the amount in whole to the value of thirty dollars, I now give and bequeath to him thirty acres of land, which is to commence at the North east corner of the Northwest quarter of section 28 Township six rang one East, then running with the North line of said quarter section to George W. and Warren Harper's portion, then south sixty poles with said portions, then east to the east line of said quarter section, then north to the beginning. I give and bequeaath to my daughter, Rachael Harper, all the balance of my land, including the balance of both quarter sections that I have not herein bequeathed to my other heirs. I have heretofore given to my two daughters, Polly King and Kitty Loftin, each of them, one cow and calf, one bed and bedding, other property to the amount in whole to the value of thirty dollars each, which is all I give or bequeath to them. And lastly, after all my just debts is paid, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Sarah Harper, all of my personal property of every description during her natural life and at her death, to be equally divided between my two youngest sons, Elijah and Thomas Benton Harper and my youngest daughter, Rachael Harper. Hereby revoking all forner wills by me made. In witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 5th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred sixty-two.
