Come On In, Glad You're Here! Grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair and sit a spell. We'll weave you a yarn about our family. Can't never tell might be similiar to yours. Some people seem to know a great deal about their kin, others not so much. At one time, we happened to be one of those who didn't know so much (like we do now, HA!!!) To tell the truth, I don't know how this all came about. I think really it is my husband's fault. Through his fault, many hours of trips, research and just plain dumb luck we are finally starting to piece it all together. This site is our attempt to record what we have dug up about our family history. Some of it we should have just buried and forgot we found it. Hey, if you can't poke fun at yourself, who can ya?


We started our research about two years ago. It was after my husband's father passed away and he realized that the only one left was his mother. When she was gone all that was ever known about his family would be gone too. Well my husband was lucky he still had his mother. All of my people had already passed away. The only two left were my sister and myself. Neither one of us knew nothing so I had to start from scratch. Well my husband decided the time had come to start his journey into the past. We took a little trip down to the local libary. From that moment on, we were both hooked. We have talked to, wrote, e-mailed anyone we thought who could possible know or be connected to our kin. We have had some dead ends, but for the most part we have had lots of success. For the people that has helped us with our research and you know who you are. We cannot thank you enough. We hope you will find this site informative and helpful. Feel free to use our information anyway that might be beneficial to you.
